BEWARE!! I found what appears to be mouse droppings or mold in my carrot cake. It was certainly some type of foreign object that would need to be carefully researched in order to determine exactly what it is! This discovery was so alarming and obviously jeopardized the health and safety of my family that I immediately called the store. No one picked up. I sent an email on Saturday, April 5th and realized on Tuesday, April 8th almost 4 days had passed with no reply. I decided to forward my email again and finally received a response that they did not receive my original email although the same email address I received the reply from was the exact same email address I originally emailed. Interesting.... Not to mention the forwarded email had a timestamp on it. Nevertheless, I expressed my concerns along with resending the photos. Here's where the situation gets worse .... I advised the email respondent that I saved the cake and would be more than happy to drop it off for them to have it carefully inspected. Instead, they decided to email me back and advise me that they had "carefully inspected the photos", and determined it was a carrot that underwent a chemical reaction and not a concern. SERIOUSLY!?!? Firstly, I read through the ingredients list and there isn't anything listed that should be green. Secondly, I watched the videos of at least 8 vloggers who bit into the carrot cake and turned it towards the camera and NEVER once did I see anything green. So let me guess... this "chemical reaction" just so happen to ONLY happen to my cake? Lastly, and the most disappointing part of the email stated, as a "gesture of goodwill", I would be happy to offer you a "complementary replacement cake." Complementary as in 'Free', haha! How in the world could something be 'complementary' when you already paid for it?! Which is exactly what I asked them in my response. At the bare minimum, I should've been offered a refund. And asked to bring in the piece of cake so they can carefully inspect it to protect the health and safety of ALL the North Haven, CT Crumbl patrons! UNBELIEVABLE, the way this matter was handled! Of course, I respectfully declined the cake and let the respondent know that I would never step foot back into the North Haven Crumbl again, except to drop off their contaminated product. This type of customer service is extremely poor and shows a clear picture of the type of person/persons running the North Haven establishment which I found out are two brothers by the names of Scott and Justin Cinnamon. Certainly a missed opportunity to right a wrong. And by the way, my daughter and I are Pink Status Crumbl members. For those of you who don't know, that is the highest status you can get. The way you become Pink Status is by patronizing Crumbl regularly and earning points. So No - I am not some one-time customer complaining. We actually love their product and enjoy reviewing them. If you're looking for a quick sugar fix, this is the place. The cookies are absolutely tasty treats they are always fresh, warm, and perfectly baked. On top of that, the staff was super efficient, providing really quick service so I didn't have to wait long at all to get my order. I'll definitely be back! read more

I'm a sucker for cookies. Every time I go to crumble I find another flavor that I absolutely love.

I'm gonna go with a just okay. Stopped in mid-April with my oldest son to grab 6 cookies. Placed the order on the touch screen upon entering. One of the options was peanut butter related so we avoided that due to my youngest son's allergy....which led to use having to hide the box of cookies from him as we feared the nut exposure could have been cross contaminated. The sugar cookie, pink frosted one, had an almost anisette (licorice) sort of taste to it which I was fond of, but the rest of my family wasn't. The strawberry cheesecake one was good and gooey. Were we supposed to keep that one refrigerated? The rest were alright. Not sure really if they were worth the price? Would we try here again? I mean, maybe. The reason I chose one star was because of the lack of customer service and cookie quality. When I received my order, everything looked great at first, but two cookies were missing their key components. The Strawberry Milkshake cookie was supposed to come with a chocolate pirouline, which was absent, and the Rocky Road cookie was missing the essential marshmallow topping. Neither cookie matched their descriptions or pictures. Additionally, the staff was somewhat rude, and it took only one person to address the issue. Spending over $30 on cookies that weren't made correctly was disappointing. Although I eventually got what I ordered, it wasn't prepared properly. If you're looking for some delicious gourmet cookies, Crumbl Cookies will not disappoint! They have multiple locations throughout CT, but I decided to try the one in North Haven recently. It's located on Universal Drive in the Home Depot plaza. Here's the scoop on this awesome cookie spot! The inside is pretty small and there are no tables or chairs. It's strictly a to-go place. The Crumbl menu consists of 6 "Flavors of the Week," which change on a weekly basis. I thought that was pretty cool, because you can stop by every week and have different cookie flavors to choose from! (they also post these on their website and Instagram page). When I went, the flavors were: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk, Cookie Butter White Chip, Blueberry Cheesecake, Caramel Sheet Cake, Cookies & Cream Milkshake, and Buckeye Brownie. You can order a single cookies, 4-pack, 6-pack, and "party box" (which I believe has 12 cookies). They also have milk, chocolate milk, and water to for drinks. I wanted to try all 6 of the weekly flavors, so I got the 6-pack. All were amazing! They also give them to you warm! The Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk was probably my favorite. One thing to keep in mind is that these cookie are pretty large, and also very sweet! (especially any that have frosting, etc.) I found that I couldn't eat more than a couple bites because they were so sweet. Again, not saying they're not delicious, because they are, but just something to consider when ordering. Speaking of ordering, you do this using a self-serve touchscreen kiosk, and also can pay by credit card here as well. They do accept cash at the counter. After placing your order, the employees will bring your box of cookies to you. I was the only one in the place at the time, so the service was very fast. There was limited interaction with the staff because of the self-serve ordering, but they seemed friendly. Overall Crumbl has excellent cookies, though I still think Insomnia are a little better (smaller, not as sweet, options to add ice cream, etc.). I would definitely recommend though! read more

I wasn't aware that a Crumb Cookies had opened in North Haven until my wife and I were driving North on 91 in New Haven, and my wife said she was craving cookies. A Yelp search later and I learned about the North Haven Crumbl cookies. I'm guessing it's been open about 3 weeks given the day of the first Yelp review. I've been to the Manchester Crumbl and liked their cookies a lot. I was surprised to see the present 2 Star Yelp rating for the North Haven Crumbl, but with multiple Yelp Elite reviews reflected in that score, Crumbl should take that seriously. I suspect the rating reflects the fact that people don't like to wait in lines, and that this Crumbl crew hasn't worked up the experience to more efficiently deal with the lines and online orders yet. I definitely witnessed some of that while I was there. The process did not seem as smooth as my early visit to Manchester. Nonetheless, I'm not going to grade Crumbl too harshly at this point. Gotta give them some room to grow. The two cookies I sampled were fresh and delicious. They included a chocolate caramel cookie and a strawberry cake sort of cookie. I ordered via uber eats. Big mistake. They sent me someone else's order (even the name was wrong on the bag). They sent me all cakes and a peanut butter cookie that was underbaked. The flavors are hit or miss! So far i've loved every cake i've tried! Alot of times the cookies are under done, like completely raw in the middle! No one greets you when you walk in the store! This week I decided on a full 6 pack. They all sounded so good. Im your basic kind of gal, choco chip, and sugar cookies are a big yes for me. Peanut butter, yup the kiddos will eat that. Brownie, wedding cake and yea fruit pie!! Put them in the box please. So fresh, doughie and baked to perfection. Loved how the brownie cookie' edges had a slight crunch to it! Fruit pie with the cream cheese frosting- reminded me of the fruit tarts I used to make. The staff who presented my cookies, yes they do present them to you, (to ensure your liking), spoke with a smile and genuinely showed she cared if I was happy with my cookies. Finally waited in the line, not sure what's going to happen come winter as it's a small place. I got chocolate chip and Banana Cream Pie which is why I waited. The chocolate chip was very good but I didn't care for the Banana Cream Pie. Definitely not something I would order again. I didn't like the texture of the pudding and the cookie base wasn't hitting it out the park either The cookies are huge, about 2-3 portion size. Not a place I will rush back to. I've been to a couple of locations. They differ in size but are generally exactly the same operation. It's very clean, bright, smells wonderful and a nice greeting typically given to each person walking in the door; " welcome to crumbl". That's about all the good things to be said, at least on this visit, although there was no greeting on this evening. I came her me to get my daughter, who is a fan, a couple of cookies. They have a tablet ordering system each guests orders from on their own. One of the two were broken, which made for extra long lines. When it was my turn they ran out of one of the cookies they have everyday, chocolate chip, as well as the rocky road cookie. I saw many sheets of uncooked dough so someone must have had the cooking times wrong. I ordered the lemon cheesecake cookies for my daughter and two peanut butter cup cookies to make a 4-pack. After about 10 minutes waiting, I was called to the counter to be told they sold out of the peanut butter cup cookies and did I want to wait 15 minutes until they were done or did I want to cancel my order. I said I'd take the two lemon only and was told I had to then cancel my whole order and re-order the two cookies because they didn't have a way to do it through their system otherwise. Hard to believe. The system never should've taken my order for cookies that weren't ready. When I mentioned that they told me they don't pull cookies until people show up to pick up (for orders placed online) so the inventory isn't exactly accurate. Doesn't make sense. Crumbl has alot of fans. I'm not one of them, and for more reasons now than that the cookies don't have much flavor, are typically undercooked and are certainly not worth $5/each. read more

ordering process and wait time was good nothing to complain about. NO ONE said "welcome to Crumbl" when i walked in. The worker brought over the box with the top open and just walked away without really saying anything. Bottom and sides of the box were covered with chocolate frosting, got all over my arms and shirt. The cookies will be the death of America. They are so sweet I have a headache now. I guess to each their own but I have many of my peers complain about the sweetness and how the cookie is not enjoyable because of the over powering sweetness. The place looked clean I guess, the smell hits you like a bus I don't know how I stayed on my feet. The prices are outrageous 25$ for 6 cookies and high risk of diabetes. This is a really cute trendy cookie shop. I wish I had thought of this idea! There were at least 20 customers that went into the cookie shop in the 15 minutes that I sat outside waiting for my niece. We go in, the staff was friendly and directed us to the self service kiosk. We begin lòoking through the options. My neice was like oooh tasting party. She orders a box of 4. Me, I started with 1 because I read the reviews, which were pretty negative. It's crazy because people were steadily coming in. There is a bright white cookie factory with about 10 employees making cookies. The inside is really pretty with the pink accent color. There is no place to sit inside. I was shopping and noticed they had opened so I waited in line very excited. From the outside looking in everything was amazing the girl at the door was so sweet and helpful. Once I got in I was greeted with a loud welcome from everyone. I ordered two of each cookie and couldn't wait to try. They had mentioned finally getting the recipe right in the line so I was confident I was in for a treat. To my surprise I didn't like a single one! Love Crumbl Cookies so we were so excited when the North Haven store opened. Each Sunday we wait to see the new menu. We love all the cookies with peanut butter so it was a must to order cookies this week. The peanut butter blossoms were delicious. The soft center of the cookie was our favorite and then topped with chocolate how could that be wrong. We also tried the chocolate silk cookie. So delicious. The cookie part is a chocolate brownie cookie and then filled with a chocolate filling and chilled. One whole cookie is plenty to share. We split them in half of only trying one. Crumbl Cookie is a case study in very effective marketing, but is not necessarily a "must have" cookie. Right off the bat the one question I have is how does an establishment whose sole product is the cookie run out of the mother of all cookies...the CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE during their grand opening? My wife and I waited in line for about an hour. Every couple feet we would say "The only thing I am really interested in is how is their Chocolate Chip Cookie?" "Yeah, a cookie place really has to have a solid chocolate chip cookie, can't wait to see what this place is all about!" "Hey have you heard anything about their chocolate chip cookie?" When we got to the front of the line..."Sorry we are all out of the chocolate chip cookies?" I mean that's like an ice cream shop running out of chocolate and vanilla and only having strawberry! Who wants strawberry ice cream? It's mind boggling! Here is where the marketing gets you though, because in a week there will be a new set of flavors plus the chocolate chip, so we really have no choice but to return, and when we do there will be a whole new set of flavors that we will have to try. It's frustrating, but you have to do what you have to do right? Now let's talk about the cookies. They aren't awful, but they didn't blow my mind! I wish I would have had the opportunity to try a chocolate chip cookie, but I'm not sure if you heard, they ran out! But don't worry they had this mystery peanut butter cookie. It had a huge question mark on the picture of the cookie. We were so intrigued, what were we going to get? I would however go again and that's because of the respect I have for the marketing not because I'm dying for another cookie. The back baking area is chaos to watch. It's only week 2 so I'll try again soon but for now this place is not running smoothly at all which is surprising for a chain that must have processes in place as a general rule. Don't expect any type of customer service from these people at all. Over the weekend we ordered a four pack that included 3 if the frosted animal cookies through the app for delivery. When they arrived none of them were complete. Since that's an integral party of the cookie I called to complain and was initially told they had ran out of the cookie topper. I told them that if that were the case, they should have called the customer and told them and zi would have cancelled the order. The employee Joanne, put me on hold to contact the manager and after their talk she informed me that I could drive to the location and get the topper, which she previously told me they had run out of. Since this was a delivery and it was Crumbles mistake, I told her there was no way I was driving to them for their mistake and found it funny that she had told me that they had run out just a few minutes earlier. She told me they would not refund my money even though they had messed up the order. I emailed the manager and still haven't received a call back. I enjoyed a cotton candy sugar cookie that was given to me at work. I fell in love and had to ask where the cookies came from. I will be visiting them very soon in addition to ordering some for catering at my events. I see that their hours are late in which I'm sure I'll be visiting for my own cravings. If I think my chocolate chip cookie needs extra salt, I can sprinkle it on myself. The crumble chocolate chip cookie I purchased was overly sprinkled in some areas While the rest of the cookie had none. Salt has been proven to be bad for the body, So I think it should be left off of Crumbl cookies. The Oreo frosted cookie was cloyingly sweet with over an inch high of frosting.
