Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan (no, not the one we're all familiar with) or as the…read morelocals call it, Aggieville, sits this lovely little establishment with a holey holy impact. This is, by far, the most impressive donut shop ever and service is stellar. Situated in what feels like a 1930s throwback, each circular devotion to the divine is, simply put: a work of art. This place is an unequivocal grand slam. D is for donut! For me, it's in the Top Five attractions of Kansas, no doubt.

So, I'm not sold. It's fine but I didn't care for the glazed. I'm a glazed donut guy and this one…read moredidn't hit the spot. It's a very heavy donut. It is large...I'll give them that. You get plenty of donut. It's just heavy and I didn't care for the flavor. It was salty....which in certain instances is good...sweet and salty...but I didn't care for it. I did get a cinnamon cake and a blueberry lemon. Both of those were fine. Probably 4 star for those two. But based on the glazed I have to go 3 star. All the fancy looking donuts are just that....just fancy looking....in my opinion. I got there early, around 6:15am, which was my other issue. They were busy which is cool, but I was expecting fresh donuts and I felt like they had been sitting for hours. My glazed was ice cold. First thing I was hoping to get a semi warm one that didn't feel like it was old. I didn't eat it there so atmosphere is hard to discuss. It was neat inside though. I wouldn't say don't go there...it may be your jam...it's just not mine. Give me Ike's in Arkansas City KS or Dudes in Joplin MO any day. PS- they also have fancy names for their donuts so I'm not certain exactly what they called the donuts I bought....but hey, I called them what they are.

I am a student at Kansas State. Naturally, this is not my average meal as I would consider this…read morepretty pricey. However, it was worth every penny that my family spent on my birthday, ha. I love eating for free. Being in downtown MHK, it's a relatively small joint. However, the spacing is easy to navigate, and the decor is very mature. They take themselves seriously, as they should! Anywho, tapas is a very European dining style, with small plates designed to not fill you immediately, so you're able to try several items on the menu in one night. After several visits now, I can say with full confidence that everything on the menu is worth trying and worth the money. The drinks are well measured and nicely balanced. They have experienced staff who know their menu, in the sense that their explanations are very informative. Please, treat yourself and get that basque cheesecake. It's pretty amazing! I'd recommend this to any alumni or parent taking a weekend to watch the cats give a beat down on the gridiron, and looking for a nice, memorable dinner with the family. Once again, students beware! This one isn't cheap! Lol.

Can't go wrong here. Service is always at the top of its game. Dim lighting and thoughtful seating…read moreelevates your purple t-shirt. I swear the water comes from the fountain of youth but the waitress says it's municipal tap water. The food is unlike anything else in a 50mi radius. (Eat your heart out Topeka :D) This time around I tried the Dutch baby and it was surprisingly tame but the white bean and tomato dip came to the rescue. The fam always loves this place and you should never let down the fam. Just frickin pleasant and ish XD
