I had a physical abnormality that should have been dealt with 40 years ago. I had one of those epiphany moments and got to researching my particular issue. Ironically I learned my issue was very common and correctable. I interviewed several plastic surgeons. I then had two failed surgeries. I believe the failure was due to the fact that the doctor I chose did not have the experience needed to do the job properly. Back to the drawing board and research. I came across Dr. Cruise and decided to literally watch every youtube and promo video he had online. I saw a consistency and compassion and level of professionalism in him that I did not experience with the 3 other plastic surgeons I had previously had contact with. That made me feel comfortable calling his office. I called and Kayla answered the phone and got my name and contact info and some background as to why I was calling. She could not have been nicer. Talking to Kayla was like talking to a family member. I then spent time in consultation with Stephanie providing her with all the nitty gritty and background info and my time constraints on my calendar to have my procedure. I had no longer hung up the phone and she was calling back with an appt for a consult with Dr. Cruise and potential surgery dates to consider. I appreciated that because I know that's usually not the order of things but I was cancelling surgery elsewhere and transferring myself to Dr. Cruise's care at the last minute. The anesthesia doctor was a very kind and caring person and made the entire process very relaxing and painless. The surgical team were all very caring and supportive. I could not have asked for a better experience. My results 4 weeks post surgery are awesome!! Aftercare services were just the same, professional but very caring and supportive. There were phone calls to check up on me and because I was an out of town patient, the staff took extra effort to make sure the airline took good care of me and that the flight crew were made aware of my post surgical status and need for possible assistance. For me, the personal interaction and the actual heart and care that was shown for me was worth so much more than the cost of the procedure itself. I am 64 years old, I have had my share of surgeries in my life and I can unequivocally say I have never been treated this good in my life. Thats not to say my other experiences were bad, its to say that Dr Cruise and his staff went so far over and above the norm, I have to say that this was the best medical/surgical experience I have ever had, bar none. While setting up the appointment and preparing for the operation ahead of time, Stephanie does a great job explaining the process and what to expect so that you're ready for what's to come. And during my consultation with Dr. Cruise, he was able to notice small details and put together a tailored procedure to make the results as aesthetically appealing as possible. The surgery itself was very easy and most of the time I was asleep. After that, most of my critical recovery process occurred in the first 1-2 weeks post surgery. During that time, Jamie, did a great job assisting me in removing stitches, changing bandages, removing the tubes, etc. They also provide you with scar ointment that you can apply daily, which I found to work extremely well. Most of the recovery for me has already happened after 3 months (I'm already back to 100% in the gym with no discomfort, preparing for another competition in about 16 weeks). I saw Dr. Cruise in 2020 for a brow and temporal lift, bleph and fat transfer under my eyes. I liked Dr. Cruises bed side manner and his staff was great. He put me under twilight (heavy xanex) and the surgery went well. I don't remember a thing. I healed pretty quickly. Then the first thing I noticed afterwords that was mildly upsetting, was he didn't make a part in my hair for the brow lift. I had a strange chunk of hair in the front that was just spiky short. And I can still see the large scars. I felt he could've paid more attention to detail there but at the time I thought, I guess it's not that big of a deal, it will grow out, scars will heal, but the scars are still noticeable when hairs pull back. I gave it a year to judge the results, and at that point I couldn't really tell I had the bleph surgery, and the fat transfer under the eyes was very bumpy, like a large lump. So I communicated this to his office and Dr. Cruise said give the fat transfer more time to heal, it's still swollen, (I think a full year is plenty time to heal, it shouldn't have been lumpy still and I was a little put off he didn't consider addressing it at all, just told me to wait.) He did have me come in to re-do the bleph for $200.00 just for supplies. I was again put under twilight but was awake for the whole thing and communicated this during h the surgery. I was not given anything for it, it felt like he was rushing it and it was over in about 30 minutes. It was unsettling. I felt like he wasn't trying his best, like he didn't care if it looked good, he just wanted to be done with it. Like- this is my face! And your reputation. You should care. I know a lot of ppl that wouldn't be able to handle being fully conscious while having their eyelids sliced open! I was just kind of in shock and thought he'll address the issue any minute but he didn't, he just rushed through it. That was in 2021. It's now February 2024. And here is my before and after (after, being present day). Large lumps still under my eyes and my lids are heavy and saggy. (I do gua sha every night to try to get the fat lumps to distribute but they won't because Dr. Cruise didn't put the fat in evenly, just in one big lump, that's still there and isn't showing any signs of going away). I think it looks way worse now than before I had the surgery. My eyes were small to begin with, why I wanted the surgery, and now they look even smaller and older. You can also see the temporal lift did nothing. The outer corner of my eyes are even saggier, and drooping. I look tired all the time, It's super depressing. I can't really afford to go to another surgeon to try to fix it either. I give 0 stars for the work he did, 2 for his lovely staff. read more

UPDATE 11/2019: I just wanted to share an update 5 months after taking that horrible chin implant out....my chin is 95% back to the way it was before the surgery. I DO WANT TO EMPHASIZE TO EVERYONE THINKING ABOUT GETTING SURGERY, GET SECONDARY OPINIONS. One more time for those that can't hear in the back, GET SECONDARY OPINIONS. Getting a large chin implant was the worst mistake of my life and getting it taken out was the best decision. I thought that Dr. Cruise's staff was amazing and made themselves available to me during my entire surgical process, but I must admit that I was very unsatisfied with the chin implant suggestion that Dr. Cruise made for me. I told him that I wanted to have a little bit more projection from my side profile and to look a bit more masculine. He thought that I should get a large chin implant and I followed his advice because of the many positive reviews that I read about him. He told me that no one would even notice it, but for the 3 months that I had it, everyone that I knew commented on how it made me look so different. After my surgery, I hated how the chin implant made my face look. I felt like a monster. Dr. Cruise informed me that it would take about 3-6 months for all the swelling to go down. However, after 3 months, I still had a huge face. It was not going down much more after that. Dr. Cruise offered to replace it for a smaller size, but I was too scared to put another one in and not like it either. I did not want to go through another healing phase. I had gyno surgery with Dr. Cruise in 2016. It pains me to write this review. The first time I peaked under the bandages, I knew there was a problem. One side had an obvious dent. I asked about it, and was told it was normal and would heal. During a follow up with Dr. Cruise I addressed the dent again. Dr. Cruise said that if I paid him some more money, he'd use liposuction to help flatten it. But if there's a dent, how could the solution be to take more out? The obvious answer to me was to *add* more. So I found surgeons who specialize in crater deformities (that's the technical term for the dent). They transfer fat to *add* more, which makes sense. The cost could be around $9,000-$16,000 but I can't say with certainty. I don't know what I'm going to do. I toss and turn thinking about it. I'm so anxious taking my shirt off feels humiliating. Initially I was mostly pleased with the results, high from having a flat chest. But knowing this is the final result, I would not do it again. It's uncommon for surgeons to refund money, but it's my hope that Dr. Cruise will consider it. He seems like a nice guy and I have seen good results for other patients, I think I was just one of the unlucky ones. If Dr. Cruise refunded the surgery cost it would put me half way to my goal of having my chest repaired with one of the other surgeons. I know it's a long shot but I'm just staying positive and praying hard everyday. I just want to be able to take my shirt off and feel like a normal person. read more

I had the BEST boob consultation ever with the most amazing doctor, Dr. Cruise. I can't recommend him enough! He was so friendly and passionate about his craft - I could just feel his enthusiasm and love for what he does! After a very crappy first consultation with another doctor, I was super nervous going into this one. But as soon as I met this new doctor, all my worries disappeared! It was literally day and night between him and the other doctor. Dr. Cruise was absolutely AMAZING and took the time to really listen to me and answer all my questions in a way I could understand. Gynecomastia surgery was something that I pondered on for many years. Having never had any kind of surgery prior, making a commitment to undergo an operation on my own will seemed far fetched. Eventually I did away with the idea, but you can't run away from your problems. I began looking online and saw that the options in my area were limited at best. Dr Cruise and his staff are phenomenal and has been such a great experience during my procedure. I have lived with Gynecomastia for my whole life and finally was tired of living with it. After much research and seeing different doctors I choose to go with Dr Cruise based on his consultation and his staff. They made me feel comfortable. I have had two procedures done by Dr. Cruise. The first was a gynecomastia surgery on my left side. The results were quite spectacular. Not even a hint of a scar. The second procedure Dr. Cruise did was a scar revision on my right side, to correct poor results from a teenage (1975!) gynecomastia surgery (right side) and a failed scar revision done by another surgeon in 2017. I am prone to hypertrophic (keloid) scarring, and Dr. Cruise and his staff have been so amazing at fixing this issue. I am beyond grateful to him and his staff. If I could give him 100 stars, I would. I have already recommended Dr. Cruise to a friend of mine. When it comes to experience and expertise, Dr. Cruise is at the top of the list.
