My travel trailer lost a wheel on I-65 about 3 miles from the Hwy. 59 exit. After sitting along the interstate for 4 hours, and several attempts to find a towing service we were finally able to get it towed to the Camping World in Robertsdale AL by 6:00 pm on a Monday. Tuesday morning we went in to see if they would be able to fix it and how long it would take. That's when we met Mariah! She took a few notes, inspected the damage and immediately got 2 service technicians out to look at it as well. Mariah said to give her time to call around to see if they could get parts, and she would stay in touch. I got several calls with updates through the morning and by early afternoon she called with an estimate for cost and timing. By 3:00 the trailer was repaired and we were back in the road to our destination. We anticipated it would take several days and drain our budget. Mariah got us back on the road in 6 hours (from when they opened on Tuesday morning.) and the cost was reasonable as well. She deserves a raise!

Our sales rep, Antonio, answered all of our questions honestly, and the sales manager, Brian, made sure to address any issues or concerns we had about our first RV purchase. Chris was diligent while doing a final walk through and showing us how everything works. He also made some great recommendations for first time use down to protecting our screen door from the puppy. Doyle helped us finalize the deal in the finance office, and he also answered any questions we had regarding the terms and warranty. We truly felt that the team at Camping World enjoy what they do and care about their customers. Highly recommend!

Here's a tightened, scathing version you can post: (I would give zero stars if possible.) I experienced a textbook bait-and-switch during my purchase, and I brought a friend specifically to witness the signing because something felt off. In the finance office, I was explicitly told that an extended warranty was required for my lender to approve the loan. It was framed as a benefit--"only about $20/month"--without proper disclosure that this was on a 10-year loan. On a $14,700 camper with a $5,000 down payment, I should have financed well under $10,000. Instead, I was sold nearly $5,800 in warranties, separate from GAP coverage (which I actually wanted). That alone should have been a red flag. After taking delivery, I never received a bill from the lender. I had to call Camping World myself--on the day I was leaving for a trip--to find out the original loan had "fallen through." I was pressured to immediately sign new financing documents via email, with the clear implication that failure to do so could require returning the camper. Under extreme time pressure and trusting the dealership to act in good faith, I signed. Only later did I discover additional warranties totaling $2,100 had been added without my consent, which were not present on the original paperwork I signed in person. When I challenged this, I was suddenly told that warranties were "optional," contradicting what I was originally told--and again, I had a witness. I requested refunds for all warranties except GAP. Since September, I have spent four months chasing partial refunds, receiving inconsistent answers, unexplained prorating of warranties I never used, and no clear accounting of what I am still owed. There is absolutely no reasonable justification for a process like this to take months instead of weeks. Communication has been poor, responsibility has been deflected, and resolution has been repeatedly delayed. This purchase was a major personal milestone for me, following serious health challenges and major surgeries. Instead of being treated with basic honesty and professionalism, I was treated like a commission opportunity. Once you drive off the lot, you quickly learn how low you fall on their priority list. I have used the camper only once since purchasing it because the experience left such a sour impression. Please shop elsewhere. If you do choose to work with Camping World, scrutinize every document, never feel rushed, and never assume verbal assurances will be honored. My experience shows exactly what happens when they aren't.
