Our house is only 12 years old but during that time, we have had to replace the same front window twice. This time, I decided to look for another service provider and I'm glad I did. After calling some of the big names (Anderson being one of them) who told me my job was too small, I finally got hold of CRS Exteriors. They immediately scheduled a person to come to my home and give me an estimate. Alan Keck, the company owner, responded, measured and gave me a set quote for a fully life warranted window. I signed the contract and he ordered the window (all of which are custom made by the Amish in Ohio. Two months later, the window had been constructed and sent to CRS. Today, Tyler and Jordan, two of the installers, came out, removed the old window and installed the new in about 2 hours. They were courteous, respectful of my home, did a great job and left only after they had vacuumed up every last piece of detritus. I am impressed, totally satisfied and would eagerly recommend CRS for any exterior need. read more

Very high pressure sales pitch! I was told that if I didn't sign a contract that day the offer went away. Their price was thousands higher than a competitor price for the exact same windows and doors. read more

Had Provia patio doors installed on 8-4-25 by David and Scot. Well pleased with the product ...very clean look. Installers were very professional. you could tell that they knew what they were doing and had done this many times before. I had previously used CRS for new windows and the service and quality were just the same. David and Scot answered all questions and cleaned up very well before they left the job. Darren and Kenny did a timely installation of five windows, and a good one as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, while removing our old windows they failed to retain the two-part sensors on each window . Though they kept four sensors. One sensor and, except for one, the corresponding magnet sections needed to operate them were thrown away. On Thursday, the date of the installation, Darren said he would check the dumped windows and bring me the magnets the next day. I did not hear back from him. I called the company last Friday and Frank Lee said Darren would get back to me. I have not heard a word in response, so I had to reorder the missing parts from the alarm company, Each sensor set runs $33.00. We would have been somewhat placated had Darren called and said that they were unable to find the items, but their non-response is both unprofessional and dismissive. Very, very disappointing, read more

Actually 3 1/2 stars and would like to give a 5 star review, and will say we are thoroughly pleased with the installation of the Marvin Infinity windows by Darren and Kenny. However... First, we sign the contract to have the windows installed on July 21st. We were told by the salesman, Ed Clark, that A) the lead time for the windows is 4 to 6 weeks, B) the install would take 2 days and C) he would put us on the scheduling board for installation on September 29 and 30 (11 weeks out). Turns out, none of this was true! What really irks us is that when called on September 29 to find out what the hold up was on the installers, we were told that our windows were not even in! That due to COVID, lead times were now in the 12 to 14 week and that Ed should have called to let us know, he didn't. Also, that installing the number of windows we have, 19, would take at least 3 days and probably 4. It took 3 1/2. Finally, the Infinity double hung windows do not come with any means of opening or closing the top sash, THAT piece of hardware has to be ordered separate. We were not told that little bit of information, and am still, 4+ weeks later, waiting to get that hardware in and installed, gratis due to the issues outline above. Now, having said all of that, Frank (production and warehousing), Glen and Owen (the owners) have bent over backward to make everything right for us. If it had not been for those three gentlemen we probably would have cancelled the contract and gone with another brand of window. And Darren and Kenny were super in the installation and keeping us informed of how the work was progressing and cleaning up each day and after the job was finished. And we are very pleased with the windows and the improved appearance of our home. We do recommend CRS Exteriors, but caveat emptor if Ed Clark is the salesman calling on you. We would suggest requesting someone else. read more

My wife and I just had a new front door installed by CRS Exteriors. We had talked with our salesman, James, last fall but had decided not to go ahead. However, when we decided to go ahead earlier this spring, James was very helpful and patient as my wife and I completely redesigned our front door. This morning, Karl and Kurtiss arrived and immediately set to work. In just a few hours they had the door installed and they cleaned up after themselves and took the old door away. Many thanks' guys for giving us a beautiful new door! read more

We placed 26 Infinity windows through out our home. Ed Clark, from CRS, came out, examined the windows to be replaced and later provided a quote which my wife and I accepted. Darren and Kenny came out and did the replacements. All windows fit except for one unusual size window. CRS held true to their word and once that window replacement came in, Darren completed the replacement and trimmed all the windows. We could not have gotten better craftsmen to complete the job. They arrived early and worked hard through out the day. I found them to be very pleasant people to be around. At the end of the day, they cleaned and carried out the construction debris. They did an excellent job!! Darren came back to complete the job, once the misfitted window came in. He not only replaced the window but trimmed all 26 windows by himself. I do not know how many trips he made up and down the stair measuring and cutting, as the windows he replaced were at unusual angles. I know he lost weight that day, but he did not stop except for lunch. When he completed the task, he cleaned up his debris and left. My wife and I are very particular regarding who we have working on our home and we would have Darren and Kenny back any time. We thank them for a job well done! read more

It was a nightmare! It took them 3 months to install 3 windows. The first installer was disrespectful on the phone with my wife. They did not remove vinyl around the windows that I paid extra for them to do. They mess up my vinyl, now you can see a difference in color of new vinyl even though they say it's the same color. The finish work "caulking" was horrible. A different guy had to come out an redo, he did a great job. I don't recommend this company. read more

CRS Exteriors sells a quality product and I am sure most if their installs are perfect. Beware if you get a bad install as they will not stand behind their work. I went to the owner Glen Harness with $1200 in repair bills directly related to an issue his installer mentioned to him when installing windows for the previous homeowner. We have a transferable warranty and a leaking problem that caused damage to 3 walls. Mr. Harness said, "I wish I could help". Well, he could help as I am sure he made a nice profit on a $25K window job, but not enough to even split our damages at $600. Oh well, Karma will get him sooner or later. read more

Had CRS quote 4 windows for my home in Aug. one very lg window took 3 months to Mfg. They tried to install the 250lb window with 2 people when that didn't work they added another worker and they dropped the window and cracked the case. Was told to sheet rock and paint everything but the area that the window was in and they would pay for it afterwards so I did. New window was installed with four people this week and when it came time to pay the owner just said he would only deduct 1/3 of my costs and if I didn't pay him he would void my warranty. Stay away from these guys ! Not worth the aggravation. Very disappointed for over 6k in a few windows. read more

Buyer beware! The product lines they sell are fine. DO NOT expect good service or quality installation.
