Mountain Glass failed to provide service and did not contact the homeowner after taking the window…read moremeasurements, Mountain Glasse's' owner took measurements and said they would order the window and arrange for installation of the window within 30 days (this happened on 14 Jun 2023). After not hearing anything from Mountain Glass at the 30 day mark I called today on 21 July 2023. I talked to the owner who made the measurements, he said he didn't know what happened but would call his secretary and would let me know. The secretary called me and claimed she had no knowledge of the window but did find my call info she said she would contact the owner and get back to me. About an hour or so later I received this text; Quote request: I spoke to the owner, and we aren't servicing (your area) any longer. (Suggested other company) Sorry for the confusion Pam Why send someone out and tell me you are going to do the job then refuse to do it. If you won't or can't do the job that is fine, but why wait 5 weeks for me to call and find out? It is my opinion Mountain Glass dropped the ball on the job and didn't want to deal with making it right. I would not recommend this company.

It would seem that from all that I've heard and experienced, certain fields of companies must be independently wealthy or have an adverse reaction to WORK and so, do as little as they can, if you can get them to come to your house and give you an estimate, which is highly inflated. A bone of contention--a bonus, if you will, if you've read this so far, is to stay away from Lowe's--either store in North Knoxville (South Mall Road and Clinton Highway) along with Home Depot for flooring and installing doors areas.
