I was very disappointed to almost spend 40 dollars for quarter piece of chicken (large) and oxtails that included 3 bones. (The math ain't mathing). The chicken tasted like it was possibly sitting out all day. The chicken was borderline dry. With some gravy on top of the rice and chicken could have brought the flavor up another level. The oxtail was very tender almost falling off the bone as you pick it up but was lacking flavor (no gravy). The rice and cabbage was eh and got the job done. I'm not entirely sure if I would give this place another chance. Tbh idk if I'm being bias as Jamaica in food up north is wayyyyy better. Pro: tender oxtails, actually having food that I wanted to order as most Jamaican spots run out of food toward the end of the day. Cons: lack of flavor/gravy, small portions for price

The food was tasty enough. I recommend 'take out' only though. They don't have to charge 20%, but they will. Instead of feeling appreciated for patronizing the place, I felt punished and robbed at gunpoint! I understand why the place was practically empty at lunch time - I certainly will never go back!

It was industrial and sturdy looking. She loved the orange color in the ceiling. We ordered the ribs with mac and cheese and a kale salad as sides, the pulled chicken kids meal, and the Moonfry dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. The portion size in the kids meal was satisfying and could honestly feed an adult. I wouldn't mind giving this place another try.

It sounded like a dream for any BBQ lover, and in terms of portion size and presentation, it definitely delivered. The ribs were bite-off-the-bone tender, the chicken was cooked just right, and the brisket sliders had great texture. You can tell the meat is treated with care and cooked low and slow. But the seasoning? That's where things went off the rails. Everything -- and I mean everything -- was buried under an avalanche of black pepper. The ribs were so heavily dusted it distracted from the smoky flavor. The chicken leg quarter had potential, but each bite felt like a challenge to get past the burn. And the brisket sliders? Great meat, but lost under that same peppery overkill. I'm not against spice, but this wasn't "well-seasoned" -- it was just over-seasoned. When every item on the plate tastes more like black pepper than meat, it's hard to enjoy the variety. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. The concept is solid, and the value is definitely there. I'd go back but be hesitant -- but I'll be asking them to hold back on the pepper next time so I can actually taste the BBQ or try another location. The restaurant was clean and updated real nice.

She can always be counted on to bring ice…read morecream cakes to our family functions which, if I'm being honest with myself, was the reason I accepted her into the family so easily. No useless poors can afford ice cream cakes and I don't want generational poverty to infiltrate my solidly middle class life and lifestyle. As a girl I frequented the first dairy queen in Joliet IL in the late 40s which was before freezers were even dependable and in every kitchen lol. We could barely even dream of combining the two greatest desserts on the planet ice cream and cake into one delectable item. Every time she brings them I think to myself, Gosh what a treat, I bet that is expensive. Then I remind her in too many words about skimping a little bit on luxuries to save for the future, then she tells me to "relax, (because) its like 12 dollars" and then I remember when 12 dollars could pay for a semester in college so the math in my mind checks out. Yesterday my son called me to ask me to Zelle him some cash because he volunteered to pick up one of his wife's cakes she had ordered. They asked him for 30 something dollars and he had brought 15 thinking he would be fine. Well, now his marriage is on the rocks and its all thanks to the gosh darn ice cream cakes. He asked if he could stay over tonight while "things cool down" which I found amusing since we are going on and on about ice cream cakes. Gave you four stars because I really like ice cream cakes. Deducted one because I'm embroiled in the argument of the year now.
