Tina was great! I got the best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Tina (the owner/stylist) really listens to what you want. Throughout the haircut, she asked me if I wanted to adjust this or that, talked about what she was doing, and it was really helpful in getting the perfect cut that for me will be both easy to maintain, able to dress up, and also really stylish. She nailed it. She also seems like a really great person. Very nice, down to earth, and easy to work with...with a great sense of style & what will work for you. When you first walk in the decor is bright and cozy. Tina has done a great job at creating a trendy and warm salon. I have had short blonde hair for many years and have gone to many salons in the tri-state area from Lancaster, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. Alana at Viva La Vida does the best color of them all. To top that off her cuts are great as well. She is so customer oriented- she really listens to what you want and asks all the right questions. I've recommended for two of my pickiest friends to go to Alana and they both raved about her, and of course now get their hair done regularly by her.

The receptionist didn't make any calls to indicate they actually tried hard to find someone else. They advertise walk-ins so this was very disappointing seeing as I had an appointment, and have a health issue that prohibits me from driving so I had to take a day off of work, work out a ride, and have an event tomorrow which is why I made my appt for that day/time. On top of that, I was not offered parking validation (which they normally do), so I ended up paying for no services provided.

My hair is chestnut brown passed my shoulders. The stylist Ngan (pronounced Non) gave me 10 perfectly sized and positioned HOT PINK and pale pink peek-a-boo highlights. She knew where to make them wide and where on my head to make them narrow. Ngan listens and makes suggestions that truly made me believe this woman knows her stuff. She's not one of those stylists who talk but then can't perform...you know what I mean, we've all had those type of stylists before. Trust me when I say Ngan knows and does what she says! The salon has 2 very friendly stylists, Li and Ngan. Place is quiet, clean, organized, and spacious. They have standard pricing for haircuts but if you want something special, like me, it's best to go there for a consultation. She completely ruined my mom's hair and gave her a tangy orange brassy color. We asked her to fix it. She put toner again and said that's the best she can do. Mind you multiple times including mid process she said she can do the inspiration picture. When I proceeded to tell her it's brassy and nothing like the picture, she said that's the best she can do and she missed dinner with her husband and kid - mind you while we are staring at my moms brassy ruined hair? Mind you I was there from 11:30 am until 5 pm and in the end she absolutely ruined my mom's hair and got it nowhere near the highlights she wanted. I gave her a piece of advice to next time refuse the service if she cannot do it. My mom paid over 200 for someone to play around and attempt to get the color she wanted. She then told us to leave and never come back again and started yelling and crashing out right after we paid. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT COME HERE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Absolutely disgusting people. DO NOT GO HERE. Also believe the other reviews when they say they're aggressive. They are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. Extremely low class behavior. Save your time, money, and energy. Most importantly save your hair.
