Stayed one night. Amazing customer service. Amazing stay. And the ribeye with chimichurri was very good.

Overall this is a great hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is friendly. Its soo clean & even has some nice architectural touches. I like the mirrored elevators & the cute back garden. The only downside was there is no pool, so for that I took off 1 star.

Did the set designer from Ordinary People decorate this exceptionally depressing room with a deafeningly loud and non-regulated ac? Being in north jersey sure doesn't help things...NOR DO THEIR BED BUGS The reason I'm writing is that they were petty jerks when I asked for a bowl for my food. They don't have any condiments or cookware and I asked for a bowl for my food. One bowl. From their kitchen. That's it. No cutlery. One bowl to borrow. They said no. No, wait, first they berated me for not ordering from their expensive restaurant, and when I said no, I just need to borrow one bowl, they acted like this was such an unreasonable request and that I was a dick for not ordering a $23 hamburger, and went for some low-key takeout instead. So I ate my Pho out of their ice bucket because these assholes wouldn't give me a bowl. Dicks. PS. THEY HAVE BED BUGS. Check out their unmaintained rooms and depressing 70s decor....

This place was horrible. Checked in and saw hair on the toilet and toilet paper in the toilet. Found opened bottles of liquor in the cabinet. Counter tops were not clean.

    Bugs

I do not recommend this hotel. There are bugs throughout the room and was told there is no available room to move us to until possibly tomorrow. This is not acceptable.

Upgraded to an executive suite for this visit. We were here in January of this year. This suite is Awesome! !!! They loan you a bathrobe while you're there. Wowww.breakfast is good with a nice selection. They also make omelets for you. Yummy to your tummy. Lol

One of the better hotels in the area by far and right across the street from the Pines Manor which is great if you're attending an event at the Pines for the evening. They're breakfast is simple enough in the morning and they have a very friendly staff that has let us bring our own sound system into the bar to keep the music pumping. They offer rooms for business meetings to be hosted in as well and the restrooms are always immaculate.

Quite a nice room, very quiet in here. The room is huge! Room very clean. I'm quite happy with the price I got off of Priceline!

Natasha expertly handled a stressful situation caused by unsupervised children pulling a fire alarm. 2. Within five minute walk to a supermarket and McDonalds. CONS: 1. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. It included frozen "egg" patties every day, with the only deviation in the "healthy breakfast" being bananas rather than apples, twice, in the almost 3 weeks we were there. (The daily waffles however, may have been the best I've had at a hotel, though if you'd prefer sugar free syrup, you'll need to bring your own.) 2. The room key cards became "unmagnetized" every one or two days. 3. Family members staying on the north side of the building complained of loud music coming from a nearby restaurant/venue on a few nights. 4. Scheduling housekeeping was unreliable and sometimes there was none on the days requested.

This was the third Hilton property we stayed at in different locations on our brief trip, but by far the best service. Sure, the room could use a facelift (I can relate!) but it had everything I needed and more, everything was comfortable, and everything in the room worked. Most of all though I want to give kudos to Malik, who was the gentleman who checked us in. It must've been obvious how exhausted we were and when I saw the sign behind the desk that said "checkout time 11:00" I said to my father, "check out time is 11 o'clock. Should we meet down here tomorrow morning at 10:55?" And Malik, bless his heart and soul, said "would you like me to put you down for noon check out?" if I wasn't already married, I would have fallen in love with him on the spot! It's amazing what an extra hour of sleep can do at the end of a long, draining trip. And as if Malik hadn't gonna above and beyond enough, he gave us each free water. Dad and I take a similar trip every year, and we used to get two bottles or free water each at every Hilton we checked into, but this year Malik was the only one who gave it to us. I guess we're not preferred Hilton members or whatever anymore but still, the night before in Philadelphia I saw what must've been 100 of those little paper bags with two bottles of water in them behind the counter.... yet no one could spare a bottle for the cost of a Hilton room in Philly which is absolutely obscene So seriously. The checkin experience can make or break a hotel stay. Thanks to Malik, I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly. 1 star off: Even though the hotel is located in a residential area, there was still quite a bit of street noise. The walls were thin and either construction noise or a neighbor's alarm woke me up every morning. Breakfast was included. There was a Starbucks conveniently located right in the lobby, i.e. you can roll out of bed and get a coffee without putting on the whole gear to go outside in the cold. Happy hour occurs every afternoon, and upon check-in, I was given a few drink tickets. I didn't end up using them, but it was a nice add-on.

There was also a large Christmas tree outside when I walked up. Now for what's the same as in get past... omelette bar! Complimentary hospitality hour with adult beverages and snacks (be sure get a ticket at the desk if you check-in on the app), large spacious rooms and bathrooms with modern updates! I love the proximity of this hotel to the Newark airport (around 25 minutes away). I also love that there is a Starbucks and restaurant (grain and cane) downstairs for convenience. I took advantage of both for an evening beverage (they Starbucks closes at 6pm) and dinner. This hotel is located in a quiet business area and I love that there is ample free lot parking which I've found to be quite rare with Jersey hotels! The front desk staff are very nice and even took the time to ask how my dinner was! This also seemed to be a very popular wedding guest hotel based on large groups I saw checking in and wedding guest gifts behind the desk. I'll be sure to consider this hotel as an option next time I'm in the area, especially before a flight out of EWR.
