Drove 30 minutes the door was locked. Call the number she asked why I was there immediately started asking me questions did not want to open the door and let me in the business. Finally let me in and seemed like I was annoying her the entire time. Go to blue ribbon they're right down the street and their door is open for the public to come in and ask questions and look at their awards. I think crown is just Internet orders only they don't like people. read more

I have been using Crown Trophy for the last ten years to put together various plaques, gifts, and awards for the company for which I work. I have brought them crazy things that we wanted mounted as part of the award (infrared weapon sights, infrared goggles, silicon wafers, etc.). I have sung their praises until the last several months. They were sold to a new owner sometime in the last few years and the customer service has become non-existent at best. At the beginning of COVID, in March 2020, the new owner let most of the employees go and ever since then, I cannot get them to return a call or send me a proof in a timely manner. Everything I send them is custom. I create all the artwork for the plaques and send it to them...everything is ready to go. They do not have to do much but produce a proof and put the award together. The last few projects I have sent them has required me to contact them and ask about the proof and why I have not yet received one. I used to receive a proof without giving it a second thought. The latest project involves mounting a component, which we produce, onto a wooden plaque with a sublimated / inscribed plate beneath it as a retirement gift. I dropped the component off on 23 March when I looked at various wooden plaque options and made a selection. Kim, the owner, didn't write down anything when I was there; not the company name, not my name, not the wooden plaque I selected, or did she put a name on the static bag with the component we want to mount on the plaque in it. When I got back to my computer, that same afternoon, I sent the finished artwork for the sublimation to the store. It is now 29 March and I have received nothing...not a sales order, a quote, or a proof. I called them and they had no clue to what I was referring. They FINALLY found the e-mail I sent with the artwork but could not confirm whether they knew where the component we want mounted on the plaque is. The component is something created by the man for whom the retirement plaque is being created. That component is the biggest part of the whole thing. I never had one concern about anything with the previous owner. Now I think I have just placed my last order with them. I hate to say this as they have been awesome to work with in the past, but the new owner and the staff she has chosen to hire do not instill any confidence in me. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

The entire team delivered 5-star service and products for our corporate awards dinner. I came to the team with a request for high end glass trophies with color printing and had less than 2 weeks. The end result is the awards came out amazing and we met our very short timeframe Great small business that I will continue to support read more

Friendly service, reasonable pricing, good selection, free video game while you wait, happy customer!

I wish I could give Crown Trophy of Plano a double star rating. I have worked with this company over 10 years and when I say they are the best in the business that is an understatement on my part. They are fast, efficient and so nice and accommodating. Even when I made the mistake they were so good to quickly finish it in time for us to give out at our meeting that same day. I couldn't recommend them more!!!! The owner I just love. Even when she is home and I send an email after hours, she still responds. No need to go an place else!!! read more

They are very customer friendly and were the only ones in town that did my engraving on the spot! Thanks Crown Trophy! read more

See all

After calling ahead to see if they had what I needed and drove 30 mins out of my way there and back home. And was told "yes come in we have those!" I'm severely annoyed!!! Just came in the shop for a "single" trophy plaque/plate "refill".... That I was told over the phone they carry. Apparently they do NOT but they ended up doing it for me because I was so irritated. They also bashed Things Remembered store in mall as being too expensive. And I should have my stuff engraved with them. Yeah NO thanks! I felt they were completely scatterbrained in this place. Very old businesses in an old dumpy part of town. Not professional and I'll be ordering online via Amazon next time! Not worth the hassle. Just my experience. read more

I went back again to get a marble nameplate engraved for my desk at work. They warned me that they can't engrave it directly because of the type of marbling -- it would crack if they tried. They had several options for engraving a plate to attach to the marble and it came out great and looks very classy. I opted for silver on black, with a silver backing that looks great on the black marble. Service was excellent and it was done in a snap, and super affordable. When I have kids and may or may not need bows/trophies or really anything, this will definitely be my place. read more

While the product is quality, very frustrated with the customer service. I was not notified when my order was ready, I had to call and ask. I was told it was ready, drove out of my way to pick up the other and only half of it was ready. And when I asked why they said "oh someone should have told you".....yeah, I agree. So I had to push my event out since the awards weren't ready. Three days later, I called ahead to confirm the second half of my order was ready for pick up and they hadn't even started yet. Mind blowing. I won't be coming back. read more

Highly recommend!!! We called these guys at closing time and asked for over 100 trophies that we needed next day by 11 am. AND THEY MADE IT HAPPEN!!! Customer service was great!! We would of had some very sad pee wee football players at the super bowl if they weren't able to get this order out to us as fast as they did! read more

Crown Trophy is the best place to buy trophies, better than online. You can choose your own and customize as per your need. I was in rush when my online orders got cancelled and crown trophy saved me from the embarrassment of my next day tournament. The entire crew started working on my orders on a Saturday and got it delivered to me in less than an hour. Great customer service and very humble people. Special thanks to Michelle Wilson and her team. read more

Crown Trophy in Plano is a great company to do business with. I'm not sure what Steve M in Allen in talking about because the people at Crown Trophy will tell you up front what the pricing is going to be. If they make a mistake, they correct it at no charge. The only time I had to pay for a correction was because i missed a mistake on the proof they sent me. But that was on me, not on Crown Trophy. I have been in the store when a local scout troop has been buying trophies for their Pine Wood Derby competition and the personnel are always willing to work with the organization. Perhaps Steve M was just having a bad day, but Crown Trophy is a good company that stands behind their work. read more

Terrible company. They have now messed up plaques I submitted to them twice. They cannot spell. They are incompetent. If you want your trophies done correctly go somewhere else. Local does not always mean good. read more

We went in to have .Crown Trophy help us with a Boy Scout Eagle project and they promised to help at a discounted price, but when we came to make the order, the items we thought were going to be discounted went up 10X and offers a lesser product for the agreed to cost. We took the lesser offer to stay inside budget, and the product delivered was not correct. When we asked them to correct the problem, they would only do so for an additional charge, and would not take back the error item for credit. They added words not in the request. Their mistake, my expense. Not good business people. Now we are stuck with an inferior product from a company that doesn't stand behind their work. Very dissappointing. read more
