It happens everywhere. sometimes when we are experiencing a time crunch, we expect businesses to bump us up. That is not reality. Since the pandemic, autoparts have been difficult to obtain. There is a price to pay for convenience. There are no guarantees that a Dealership or other Service establishments can provide efficient turnaround 5-days a week! Give East Point AAMCO a chance!

I really wanted to give a positive review because the brake pad replacement itself went smoothly,…read morebut unfortunately the experience took a turn afterward. When I went outside after the service, I immediately noticed a lug nut was missing. After looking closer, I saw that the wheel stud itself was broken - which I know for a fact was not damaged prior to the repair. When I contacted the mechanic about it, he did not deny breaking it and asked me to go purchase a new stud and lug nut, which I did right away. He said he would return to install it, but after that point communication became very unreliable. I texted several times with no response. When he finally replied "yes" to confirm he would complete the repair, he still never followed through. Since then, my messages have gone unanswered. On top of that, he told me the broken stud was "no big deal" and that he knows someone who drives around with multiple broken studs - which was extremely concerning to hear from someone responsible for vehicle safety. I don't feel comfortable driving with a broken wheel stud, and the situation has been left unresolved. I wish this could have been a positive review, but based on the lack of accountability, poor communication, and safety concerns, it cannot be.

I am a returning customer, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I previously…read morebrought this same vehicle here several years ago for a minor repair and returned because I trusted them. Our current nightmare began on 8/18/2026. We were told the car should be towed that day, but I had to follow up the next day to find out what was happening. The vehicle was eventually picked up Wednesday afternoon and wasn't looked at until Friday. To make matters worse, the tow truck driver hit a pole and damaged our vehicle. On Friday, they confirmed the issue we had already explained and quoted $1,500 just to diagnose it. On 8/28, we approved the repair, were charged an authorization hold that has since posted, and were told the vehicle would be ready by 9/2 at the latest. Since then, communication has been almost nonexistent. I had to call on 9/4, visit in person on 9/8, and call AGAIN on 9/11. Each time, I received another apology and another excuse about parts. As of 9/11, the vehicle still wasn't repaired and the replacement part still hadn't arrived. We are approaching a full month without our vehicle, while paying for a rental out of pocket. We were told the issue had been escalated and that a manager would contact us. Crickets. What's especially frustrating is that they had no problem contacting us when they needed our money, but once they had it, communication stopped. With nearly a month of rental expenses, delays, and even damage caused during the tow, not once did anyone offer a courtesy discount, rental assistance, or meaningful apology. I have never experienced such a lack of communication or accountability from an auto repair business. I returned because I trusted them, and unfortunately, that trust is completely gone. If communication, transparency, and customer service matter to you, I would seriously reconsider using this company.

They're honest about the work that needs to be done, and there have never been any surprises. I saw all the 5* reviews here, as well as the fact that All Pro was nearby, so I called to get a quote and appointment. Due to their being busy, and with the difficulty of getting parts, due to COVID shipping issues, he couldn't get to me for a couple weeks. Once I dropped off my car, he had it ready in a week, and it's driven just fine ever since. At one point he called to tell me I also had a broken motor mount, and some other minor issue, but fortunately, the total, including the extra items, still came in at what he had estimated the cost initially, which was a big relief. Chris & his employees were always very courteous, helpful, and made me feel like I was dealing with friends. I highly recommend All Pro to anyone in need of transmission repair.

Mac is reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and his prices have always been fair and affordable. I've never felt like I was being sold something I didn't need, and I've never had an issue with the quality of his work. That kind of trust is hard to find when it comes to auto repair. What I appreciate most is that you don't feel like just another number here. Mac takes the time to explain what's going on with your vehicle, what actually needs to be done, and what your options are. There's a level of personal service and accountability that you just don't get everywhere. There was even one occasion when my vehicle needed something Mac wasn't able to handle. Instead of attempting a repair outside of his expertise or simply turning me away, he referred me to someone who could take care of it properly. That told me everything I needed to know about his integrity. He knows what he's doing, and if something is outside of his scope, he'll be honest about it and point you in the right direction. After more than ten years of consistently good experiences, I can confidently say Mac is someone I trust with my vehicles. Great service, fair pricing, honest advice, and someone who genuinely treats his customers like people rather than transactions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crawford's Auto Repair.

Fast forward to now -- I've been using them for 4 years for various services. Sometimes it's just a simple oil change or routine maintenance; other times, it's more involved repairs. They haven't disappointed me once. Mac is always on point. He clearly explains what's going to be done and how much it will cost.
