I came here with my parents the other day to do some strawberry picking while they were visiting…read more We all had a great time and got some delicious strawberries! The parking lot for pickers is just north of the address on Yelp but they had plenty of signs that made it easy to find. You have to go down a gravel road to get there so keep that in mind if you don't want your car getting dirty. They had quite a few rows of strawberries for picking, and had 4 different varieties available. We also saw some apple trees where the apples were growing for picking in the fall and some peach trees. They also have veggies to pick but we didn't walk that far back. A lot of the strawberry plants had been pretty picked over but still had plenty of fruit if you pulled up the leaves and looked. We ended up picking about 3 lbs of fruit to take home. The fields are super dusty so make sure to wear sneakers you don't care about because they will get covered in dirt. We enjoyed a relaxing time picking berries and enjoying the beautiful views. I will definitely be back with my husband and daughter to enjoy picking some more fruit.

The scent hit us--warm, sweet, and sun-soaked and in that instant, we knew we were exactly where we were meant to be. No one can convince me there's a better smell on this planet than fresh strawberries in the summer breeze. Not rain, not bread, not even raspberries--though those came in close second. Bailey's Farm is a dream. My mom and I spent the afternoon picking strawberries and raspberries together, surrounded by blooming fields and buzzing bees. The strawberries were bright red, perfectly ripe, and so fragrant it felt like walking through a natural perfume. That smell alone could heal your entire nervous system. The raspberries were generous and delicious too, but it was the strawberries that made time stop. We picked slowly, laughed often, and let the wind guide us from row to row. It wasn't just a farm--it was a pause button in the middle of our road trip, and a memory I'll hold close forever. The only thing that could use improvement is the parking lot. The entrance and exit are one-way, but it's not clearly marked. It's a small detail, but clearer signage would make arrival smoother. Still, nothing compares to stepping out of the car and into that scent. Bailey's Farm gives you more than berries--it gives you a reason to breathe deeper. And I already can't wait to go back.

In long Maybe it's just me, but it seems like they used to stock a much wider variety of specialty produce (among other things) here. The shelves and cases are all still full, and the quality is good. But you used to walk through here and see at least half a dozen things that practically no other stores had on hand. They still have good stuff, though--no doubt. The bakery section was super tempting, and there were dozens of choices among meat, fish, and poultry. The produce section is really big for this size of store--imagine if Trader Joe's focused on fruit and veg instead of snacks and frozen stuff, and you have a general picture of the ratio. Prices are a bit higher here than TJ, but not unreasonable. Quality is very good (esp. on produce). There are long aisles of shelf-stable condiments, packaged stuff, tons of spices. They definitely aim first at the home cooks who think of themselves as home cooks, and secondly at the folks who just know they need good groceries. Beer and wine are just a few basics, maybe half a small aisle. They had a few solid manager's specials going today, and the staff were all very nice (if not very bubbly). I'd happily shop here if I didn't have to drive past half a dozen other supermarkets that are all good options. So, I'd shop here if I lived in Mill Creek, essentially.

It's super convenient and easy to stop by, which makes it part of my routine at this point. One thing I really appreciate is how consistently kind the staff is. Whether I go during the day or later at night, everyone is always friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. I also feel really safe shopping here, which is something I don't take for granted. The store itself always feels clean and well-kept, and the food options are actually really good. I love browsing their deals too--you can find some great stuff without spending a ton. Overall, it's just a really reliable, positive shopping experience every time I go. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Mill Creek! :D

I discovered Lotus Flour at the Farmers' Market when the cookies caught my eye-- the Brown Butter Sourdough Snickerdoodles. I thought that sourdough was an interesting base for a cookie, so I thought I would give it a try. These are amazing! Snickerdoodles aren't my favorite cookie, I'm a chocolate chip cookie kind of girl, but Lotus Flour definitely converted me. The best thing about these cookies is that they aren't too sweet-- you get the cinnamon, rather than the sweetness of the cookie base. The sourdough base is the perfect balance. And oh so chewy... The Lotus Flour owner/baker is incredibly nice! There were times when there were certain sourdough breads that weren't available that week, where she let me know it was alright to make a request. I like exploring, so I usually wait for the next market to see what surprises await. Favorites at our house: the Three Cheese, the Parmesan Herb, and the Sea Salt Focaccia. If you're going to get sourdough, get the best, and that is Lotus Flour. We're looking forward to the new Farmers' Market season, or finding Lotus Flour somewhere before then.

This year we got to go on a weekday which was so nice because we missed the crowds :) Ample parking, there's a few overflow lots available and they seem pretty stroller friendly. Bob's has a lawn with tons of pumpkins to choose from, a place to get fresh donuts, a few food stall options, a fudge shop, a country store where you can buy local favorites, a wagon ride, corn maze, and so much more. The free things are the pumpkin lawn and the country store, otherwise everything else is an extra cost for a reasonable price. I love picking up some corn, small pumpkins and honeycrisp apples at the country store and then finding a large carving pumpkin :)

Lots of cars in the parking lots on a weekend, but the farm is big and doesn't feel too crowded. There's lots of pumpkins and a bunch of photo stops. Tried the slides, zip-line, basketball, and the small tractor tow around the dirt course. Was fun. Bob's is known for their large corn maze. The adult maze is on the other side of the road, and you get their by taking the hay ride. More pumpkins and sunflower field on that side too. The maze is pretty big. Took me 20 minutes to walk out following the map. Probably takes 1-2 hours if you don't use the map. As for food, they have mini donuts, cider, burger, pizza, chicken tenders. Tried the mini donuts which were fresh and tasted pretty good. They have pumpkin and apple cinnamon flavors. Overall I enjoyed the experience, as an adult. All the kids there seem to be having a good time. Fall festival tickets not that cheap but most of the other farms charge similarly.
