I can't say enough great things about Dr. Sadaf Moghimi at Crow Canyon Dental! I had been putting off filling a cavity for way too long, mostly because I was nervous about the discomfort. From the moment I walked in, the entire experience completely changed my perception of going to the dentist. Dr. Moghimi was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. She took the time to explain everything and made me feel totally at ease. Most importantly -- ZERO pain with the needle! I genuinely didn't feel a thing. The cavity removal was the most comfortable I've ever experienced -- honestly, it felt more like a relaxing spa visit than a dental appointment. I kept waiting for discomfort that just never came. She also removed my permanent retainer smoothly and fitted me with a high-quality new retainer that feels fantastic. My teeth have truly never felt better. If you've been delaying dental work because of anxiety or fear of pain like I was, this is your sign. I'm so grateful I found Dr. Moghimi -- read more

The dentists that seem to work there seem nice enough however, they failed to verify whether my insurance covered the treatments before proceeding with the procedures. I ended up paying most of the cost out of pocket. The dental office staff also seemed indifferent to my frustration. At no point did they reach out to discuss the potential costs or inform me of any issues with insurance coverage until after the treatment was completed. I called them at least 4 times asking them about the costs and how to cover the bill but every time I called it went to an answering machine. I left two messages which also went unanswered. Before this time, my family and I had been patients for 8+ years. Unfortunately will not be coming here again. read more

As someone with high anxiety when it comes to having any form of dental work done, I could not have been more impressed with my visit to see Dr. John Nakhla. He and his assistant were both extremely patient with me and helped put my anxious mind to rest by explaining what they were doing at every step. I would give 10 stars if I could for their professionalism, patience, kindness and for the service as a whole. I have not been to the dentist in 8 years so when I finally chose Crow Canyon Dental I was hoping for the best. My teeth were really sensitive so I was nervous for the pain that might come. I had to have 8 fillings and a deep clean. Dr. Mark was the best, hands down the best dentist I have ever had. Dr. Mark did my fillings, Andrew did my deep clean, and princess took my X-rays and assisted Dr. Mark for the fillings. They all made sure I was comfortable at all times, they did not rush me if I needed a break or some numbing. Dr. Mark communicates very well about all your options and breaks down your x-rays for you like the NFL Network. I am recommending everyone I know to check out Crow Canyon Dental. Also the receptionist is super nice too, I don't know her name yet. There seems to be great chemistry with their team, is it weird to say I look forward to going back to the dentist? read more

I think Dr. John did an excellent job on my crown. I'm pleased with his work. I give a 3 star because he failed to check the work of his assistant before discharging me after a wisdom tooth extraction. His assistant embedded a guaze in the area which, three days later, began to cause pain and swelling in the area. I went back to check that and they pulled out shredds of gauze that was causing infectin. This could have been avoided if Dr. John and come in after the assistant's work and checked. read more

By far the best dentist office, I've ever been too. read more

Dr. Tofoli has been my dentist for many years. One Sunday around 5Pm I broke my front crown. I called the office number in a panic. Within 20 minutes, Dr Tofoli returned my call. He met me at his office, and replaced the broken crown with a temporary. Next day I had a meeting and I was able to go to it with a near perfect smile thanks to Dr. read more

After my dentist retired and sold his business to the Nakhla Brothers I continued to use them out of convenience. I found their workmanship to be satisfactory in the beginning but Dr. Mark had a tendency to make every exam sound like it would be a major procedure. They over charged for everything. Delta Dental forced them to return almost $300 to me that they had over charged during an earlier procedure. My last procedure involved a Root Canal and a three-tooth bridge. Normally that would be approximately $4000 but they submitted $8000 to Delta Dental. I told them that the charge was ridiculous but they were obviously "greedy". After padding the bill, they actually received $6,043. Then they waited approximately 6 months and sent me another bill for $60.00. Delta doesn't usually investigate claims past 180 days so they must have felt that they were in the clear. Delta decided to investigate and cancelled that bill. Doctor Mark put in the wrong size teeth for the three-tooth bridge. He did try to grind them down but they were still too large and have caused a lot of gum problems since. Another dentist recommended that I replace the entire bridge. This review is factual and based on my opinion of that business. read more

This was my first appointment with Dr. John Nakhla. The entire office staff was extremely efficient and pleasant. They confirmed all my insurance information prior to my appointment to make everything would be effortless when checking out. I am new to the area and looked at multiple dentist offices before making a selection. I am very confident I made the right choice. The hygienist made good suggestions to ensure continued future dental health! read more

Professional, personable, integrity, and honesty best describes my perspective of the crow canyon team.

I spent a lot of time searching and looking at reviews of dentistries, seeing which place would be a good fit for me. My girlfriend and I both found Crow Canyon Dental to be the best spot for us. I had a lot of work done just from not having insurance before, which made me prolong all the work I needed, so a lot built up. Dr. Mark Nakhla is one of the best doctors I could ever talk with about concerns regarding my teeth and which care plan would be best for me. He explained the whole process every time I came in for ether a filling or root canal. In addition, the entire team such as the hygienist, receptionist, scheduler and billing were great to work with, professional, and very caring for the work they do. Easy, fast, professional, and caring would be the simplest way to describe their work. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Toffoli for years and I've always been pleased with the care he's given me. His hours have been reduced and he's taken on Drs. John and Mark Nakhla as associates. Both are young doctors with the most current/up-to-date knowledge and techniques. I've been impressed with both and I feel both have provided me with excellent dental care. They explain what they're doing and if I request further information, they provide it. Both convey a genuine interest/concern for my dental hygiene. Although I was disappointed to be eventually losing Dr. Toffoli as my dentist, I'm really pleased with his new additions to the office! I will only see Katie as my dental hygienist. She's very thorough, doesn't talk incessantly while performing a cleaning and like the brothers, appears to be genuinely concerned about my dental care. The waiting room decor has been updated. Although it's not quite as charming as it had been, those uncomfortable country French settees are history and what replaced them is much more comfortable if not quite as pretty! read more

Dr. Mark did a crown for me. He is a very patient and caring Dentist. He and his staff worked well together and when we discovered I had a slight sensitivity to the probing and fitting of the permanent crown, we immediately stopped and anesthetized the site. This is a painless operation thanks to the professionalism and capabilities of the new staff. I have learned that Dr. Toffoli retired in October 2019. He had been my dentist for many years. He has chosen a great replacement team to carry on his painless dental operation! Thank you Drs. Toffoli and Nakhla. read more
