My Kia Niro is not an easy car to clean! Because of my horses, I always have horse shavings in the back and front of my car. The floor mats have dirt and debris ground into them, and even though I cover things with towels, horse debris seems to find its way everywhere! But you always get every bit of it out! You pull out the rugs, check the side compartments, and pay attention to the little details that make such a huge difference. I always try to set you up to succeed. I explain that I really need to see clearly out of my windows and ask that you please use fresh towels. I know how important it is to have the right tools and enough time to do a great job. I also appreciate that you make sure I do a walk-around before you leave. That attention to detail and your commitment to making sure everything is right means so much to me. When you're finished, I feel like I'm driving my car out of the showroom for the very first time! You make my car feel brand new, and you make my entire day special. Thank you for always being so friendly, thorough, and dedicated to doing an awesome job. I know sometimes people say they get in a hurry, so I personally prefer to come earlier in the day. If someone is there already you pull into one of two spots close to the street. I usually give a little tip when they are done. If the communication was a little smoother I would rate them higher. Ok np I pull into a stall without tape over the coin machine. To add to the overall post apocalyptic feel of things there was an abandoned car with a smashed window taking up space in the vacuum stall. Park and head to the change machine. One machine is out of service. The other machine is no longer taking bills...ok I bring my own change most times. As I'm washing my car there is a line of people behind me and behind the next person in the working stall. Save yourself some time and go to the SLZ spot next to Arroyo.

I came here on accident because it had the same name as the other spot and I did not double check it on my maps before I was already nearby. Anyway, since I was already nearby - I decided to wash my car, especially since there was no lines/wait like the other spot. There were 4 wash stalls, but I do not remember how many vacuums that were here. It was about $3 to wash your car for a few minutes, which is a bit more expensive compared to the other self car wash spots I had been to in the area. As I pulled up, I remembered why I always drove past here and never washed my car here - it is because it looks a bit sketchy here at night, as most of the lights were broken/not working. Only 2 out of the 4 stalls were lit up, the 2 stalls with lights were flickering a bit (kind of like that episode of SpongeBob of the Hash-Slinging Slasher, lol). In all seriousness - it was a bit creepy, but I decided to stay and wash my car as quickly as possible. As I was washing my car, some big van just parked behind my stall by the back alley way, so I was ready to spray someone if I had to - at that moment, I was glad I backed into the stall and was facing the front entrance/street view, if a quick getaway is needed. The person in the van did not move or do anything, but sat there/waited/watched. I quickly finished and noticed he or she was leaving - I debated, if I wanted to vacuum my car, which I had a bad feeling about, so I decided to peek my head behind the stall to the side. Lo and behold, the van moved to and stayed parked in the hidden spot off to the side of the stalls. I literally jumped in my car and sped off, so always listen to your intuition - if things do not feel right/feel weird, trust yourself. Overall, I think this spot is an okay spot to clean/wash your car at in the daytime, just not at night because although it was a bit creepy here when it gets dark, I did like that their water spray gun was pretty strong.

Shine Time cleaners the Gold package is $24.99 and is totally worth it! At least I don't wash my car very often but they do A LOT for what you pay. They do also offer simpler basic packages and a monthly unlimited wash package. The fancy car wash down the street is like 70.00 but they probably do detailing. I just need a quick maintenance clean up since my car isn't that dirty. With the gold package they pre-hand wash with soap and water, drive through the actual wash and then vacuum and wipe down the inside and outside of your car. The actual drive through wash is pretty thorough too! They don't stinge on the water. Life's little luxuries. I feel really happy after a clean car and a full tank of gas. Good value if you don't have the energy to clean your car yourself.
