I love living here. Everyone's so friendly - the office staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and the residents. It's close to everything I could possibly need - Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods, Talbots, and great restaurants. I just love when I realize I'm out of something and I go out of my apartment, down the stairs, out the door and WALK two minutes to Target. Along the way, I pass by families enjoying dinner at one of the many restaurants, a group of children enjoying ice cream and a woman who just had her hair done at About Faces. And if I need something from a store not in Towne Centre, I walk across the street to not one but two shopping centers featuring Michaels, TJ Maxx, Home Depot, Panara Bread, a nail salon and a Giant. The apartments are well maintained, as is Towne Centre, on a regular basis. There are regularly scheduled social events and the one, a trivia game night, that I attended, was lots of fun. I love the varied ages, ethnic origins and races among the residents here. I'm almost 60 and my age group tends to want to move to Over 55 communities. After being here for 4 months, I realize that interacting with children, young adults, young families as well as my own age group is a better fit for me. The pool is small but is never very busy from what I've seen; the only issue being that I wish there was more shade near the grill and a refrigerator to keep things cool while you're in the pool. I feel very safe here, although I'm here, alone, most of the time. There's a security detail always around Towne Centre and there is no access to the apartments without a magnetic key. Other than that (and that's a small issue) I think this is my idea of heaven! I wish there was a place closer to my hometown (I'm here for another 2 months) but quite honestly, I'd love to move down here. read more

Having lived here a year, I've had a chance to really gain perspective on living 'round these parts and I'm coming up short on negative aspects. If something was ever wrong, it was fixed - and quickly. I only had to ever submit two service requests, and one of those was because I was careless and dropped a couple items between the drum of the washer and the wall. Could be worse, eh? Both requests were responded to within hours of submitting them which is pretty awesome. The maintenance staff is top notch. The apartments are comfortable and modern in their appearance. It almost has a hotel feel when you're walking down the hallway to your apartment. The amenities are pretty grand, too - pool for the summer, grills whenever you feel like cooking outside, a spacious community room for hanging out or playing pool, a fitness center with just enough equipment to be dangerous, and right in the middle of the Annapolis Towne Centre. Not too shabby. The leasing staff has always been good to me, which is somewhat interesting to me since at least one or two noise complaints have been my doing. Womp womp! If it weren't for the fact that I miss downtown living, I'd probably stay here a bit longer. read more

My wife and I were approved to rent 6 weeks before move in date. We were just waiting to see the place in person before signing the lease. Then we drove from California to Maryland, checked the place out and were ready to move in. We had changed our address, purchased renters insurance, bought a new mattress. Then, the day before move in we receive a phone call informing us we can't move in because our dog's breed is not authorized. They have no restricted breed list on their website and we had submitted the paperwork on our dog 6 weeks prior. So they had this information the whole time. Well, their mistake has left us living in a hotel with a moving truck full of our belongings and no where to put anything. Of course, we're stuck paying for the extra days in the hotel and the moving truck as a result of the mistake by the staff at Crosswinds. While on the phone with the staff member informing me that we could not move in, who was very much aware we were living in a hotel, I was asked for a forwarding address where they could send the check to reimburse us for our deposit..... read more

I had never lived in an apartment before this June and was bracing myself for potential downsides. The Crosswinds community and Annapolis Towne Centre have spoiled me forever. The office staff, maintenance team, common areas, parking -- just everything -- was/is totally positive. It is VERY clean and safe which are musts for me. The fitness facility is well-equipped and well-maintained. The conference room is great. I was mostly able to use the same area/space for parking (underground) the entire lease period. The apartment unit itself is very appealing and comfortable. There is nothing like taking a 5-minute walk to Whole Foods for groceries, meeting friends for lunch/dinner within walking distance, or people-watching among the surrounding shops and restaurants. The other residents are friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this complex. P.S. The maintenance team jumps on any request conveniently sent via Building Link online. They arrive with smiles and are professional and efficient. read more

Crosswinds offers the best of everything - clean, modern, secure building with lots of amenities (outfitted exercise room, pool, meeting and entertaining rooms); secure underground parking; fantastic and super convenient location within short walking distance to restaurants, banking, and dozens of shopping choices from food to merchandise/services; and fabulous staff. The front office, maintenance and cleaning staff are a pleasure to deal with, are very respectful of residents' needs and privacy, and have responded immediately and positively to every request and consideration I have brought forward. The Towne Centre area is a vibrant busy location. You will hear 'white' traffic noise from Rt. 50 at rush hour and you will know if your upstairs neighbor is doing her Zumba routine in high heels, but none of this seems outside the norm for apartment living. This is city living at its best and I highly recommend Crosswinds and the superlative care by all of the staff. read more

I am not sure where to even begin when reviewing these Apartments... My boyfriend and I moved to Maryland in April and this was our first apartment complex we toured and fell in love. We loved the atmosphere of the Towne Centre, the walking distance to endless shopping and dinning spots, pet friendly attitude, terrific amenities and all around caring employees. The leasing staff are compassionate to their jobs and have made my boyfriend and I feel at home. The monthly community events held allow the community to come together to eat crabs, explore trivia or even show off your best halloween costume. I can not say enough about living here! read more

This place is amazing! The building is top-notch and Jonna, Dave, Anthony and Tara go above and beyond to make you feel like you are at home. I have an older dog whom absolutely adores the Crosswinds team - she is sad if she doesn't get her time to see them. My 'apartment' feels more like a condo. I have never had a problem and my view is beautiful - floor to ceiling glass in the living room...Can't go wrong there! Even the cleaning team is extremely friendly! Crosswinds is great, and we highly recommend it. It's a newer property that has a clean and modern feel, and the common areas are well kept. Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a good location for commuters. The management staff are all extremely helpful and friendly and always take the time to answer questions or just to chat. The maintenance staff responds promptly to any questions we have and are friendly as well. Been here four months and have only good things to say about Crosswinds. read more

My Fiancé and I absolutely love living here! The apartment building is clean and beautiful, and everyone from the residents to the staff are just incredible! Jonna in the front office is the best, you can tell that she truly cares about her residents. The maintenance staff is amazing! They are so good about taking care of the residents, that most of the times items are fixed the same day. I think it says a lot about these guys when they are smiling ear to ear whenever you see them. read more

Crosswinds has been an amazing community to live in- from the employees to my neighbors! Everyone has been so kind to my new puppy especially the staff who have spoiled him! I lived here for a year. It truly feels like classy hotel living. I loved my time here. Is it pricey for the small space? Yep but all high end finishes, great personnel that are always around to help. You really don't have to worry about much of anything. Super convenient fun lifestyle.
