Ten years later...still 5 stars. What can I say? The coffee is excellent (both the drinks and the bags of beans), the baked goods are first rate (try the croissants) and the little space and patio are so charming. I also love how they sell costume jewelery from a local designer (I've bought funky earrings and a bracelet in the past, which I love). It's cozy neighbourhood vibes all the way. read more

Cute cozy cafe run by a lovely couple. They were so friendly and welcoming. It feels like a neighbourhood spot that you don't want too many people to know about. The coffee was great. The almond croissant was warm and toasty. There are books all along the window ledge, and this is definitely a place where I'd enjoy spending a few hours reading. read more

This is an excellent coffee shop run by the most delightful couple. The only downside is there is not enough seating. They are a victim of their own success; it's so busy on weekends, perhaps they need to expand. The coffee is amazing; the food is excellent and the atmosphere is top-notch. A great mom and pop business in midtown. read more

This new coffee place is quite quaint; tucked in the neighbourhood west of Yonge and Eglington. The place is clean but warm inside. No AC and my friend and I sat inside where the windows were. Although we went right in the afternoon when the sun was blaring. It has free WiFi. The staff was very friendly offering us water on top of our order. I ordered an iced coffee with milk. The two were well-mixed and he made my iced coffee with espresso. Made my drink with a stronger taste which I liked. read more

A real gem hidden away on a side street just off of Eglinton West. Had some time to kill before a job interview today, so I figured I'd explore the neighbourhood a bit. Stumbled across this place and it was just the thing I needed to give me come extra pep before my interview. I ordered an almond milk latte, which was bomb - smooth, just the right amount of sweetness, perfect temp, and perfect ratio of espresso to milk to foam. The barista was super friendly and a good conversationalist. The decor is rustic and casual - it kind of makes you want to move in and never leave =) Inside, there are a few small tables and a few bar stools set up at the counter and by the window. Outside, there are a few more small tables, two wooden benches, and a few Adirondack chairs (!). The only issue with my visit was that the air conditioning was not on (or not working) on the day I went and it was sweltering inside and out. Air conditioning issue aside, there is nothing about this place that I don't love. I will be back for sure, time and time again. read more

Love my little neighbourhood coffee shop. Best part about living here. The baristas are wicked, awesome friends full of great conversation and always welcoming. The decor is comforting and smart with nice edison lightbulb lightbulbs. Love the simple plates and color of the mugs and to go coffee lids! There is recent new ownership and things are changing - inevitable... noted changes so far - AWFUL, painfully bright lightbulbs that have replaced some edison bulbs over the bar... to the new owners who I hope are reading this... please change them back. Lighting is the key to ambience and people wanting to be in a place. Your established clientele like the cozy, soft, ambient lighting... this new lighting will move us elsewhere. Also the new 'christmassy kitsch' plates have got to go... not stylish at all. Keep it modern and clean. Happy to share design tips for free! read more

A good coffee place that is a little away from the busy Yonge and Eglinton area but really close to the community center where the kids go for their sport activities. I am so looking forward to the next time I have to wait for an hour for the activities to finish :) As far as coffee is concerned, I have tried their cold brew and a Cortado. The cold brew tasted so good, just have to remember to ask not to put too much ice and less milk. The Cortado was not bad either and I appreciate the fact that the barista made it for me even though it's not on the menu. Now for my nitpick... they do not have a cup for if you want to drink your coffee in the store, only to-go paper cups. I love my coffee especially if it's on a regular cup and not the paper variety. If it's a regular brew, it is probably ok. But for an espresso-based drink, this is a no-no. I know it's supposed to be a nitpick, unfortunately, this is a big deal for me , enough to cost this review one star less. Having said that, I'll definitely come back and come back often! read more

I love this place! I saw it on the way home one day and couldn't wait to try it. I'm a huge fan of small independent coffee shops and cafes. I love that it's very hidden away from the rest of Eglinton... Literally a hole in the wall, but very charming! The gentleman who served my coffee and chocolate croissant was very accommodating and friendly. There is free wi-fi and a small table near the window where people can sit. There's also a small patio outside, but the construction that's blocking the cafe is not a great attraction. The coffee was wonderful! Dark and rich; just how I like it. And their croissants were from La Bamboche just down the road. Very tasty. I saw somebody order the ice cream sandwich which I will definitely try next time. If you live nearby, it's worth trying for sure. It reminds me of Montreal and their breezy, easy-going atmosphere. Great music too! read more

We started coming to this gem, and haven't stopped. Espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, flat white, full caf, half caf and decaf; we've tried them all and have been impressed every time. We even buy our beans here. The baristas are exceptionally knowledgeable and super friendly - not in the least bit snooty as they can be at some independents. The treats are also delish and the music and vibe are lovely, but for us it's all about the bean and the roast and the pour and these guys are spot on. So glad they chose our neighbourhood and with the construction off the street it's a calm lovely start to my day. Cheers! read more

This is a real coffee shop. By that I mean they don't serve much of anything else. The have a few pastries that didn't look very appetizing so Arshawn and I just grabbed a Cortado. They use Hale coffee beans which have a bit of a wood/earth taste to them. The Cortado was strong and good. I would come back more often if they had a larger selection of snacks and pastries since I rarely go to a place to only have coffee. read more

I am a fan! I was hearing mixed things on the place from people in the neighbourhood. Nothing bad just some people loved it & others saying it was just good. I am a member of the loving it team. I've only been once but I will be going back soon. The place has a great vibe to it. It's really welcoming, warm, bright & sunny. I loved it. They have a fairly simple menu that I really like. I ordered a cappuccino with soy milk & it's delicious. I adore the fact that they don't charge extra for soy milk. They had some little nibbles out on the counter including a gluten free, vegan tray. That won me over right there. I can't wait to try another drink on the menu. Super adorable place. Worth checking out. read more

Aside from being a very kind gesture, I presume the place was closing soon. The cookie was maybe 2.50 CAD, if I recall correctly, and it was good. I was slightly worried that it would be too sweet, but the caramel flavor wasn't super strong, and there was a good mixture of that and a light banana flavor. It was also surprisingly not too dry for how late it was. Overall, it was tasty, and the drink was also good.

Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!

It sucks…read morethat it's so close to home too, because I thought I'd be here everyday but I've been even leaning more towards starbucks than this. The coffee is actually good - the lattes, americanos etc. The honey ginger latte is honestly amazing, it's been a fave of mine for almost 10 years now, when I first had it at the bloor/sherbourne location. I'll say their drinks are always consistent. The interior is also very homey, love the vibe and decor of this place, especially the comfy couch in the back. It''s a cute place for a sip! The staff here are just so dry, it ruins the coffee experience for me. They're just so 'gen z staff' coded with their empty stares, no expression and like buying a coffee and supporting the biz is bothering them or taking up their time. Those tiktoks that make fun of niche coffee baristas giggling amongst themselves and then instantly turning to the counter with zero warmth - that is this place to a tee. I think out of all the times I've been here, there's been one nice staff (the asian girl) and everyone else has just been so uninviting. From the cashier experience all the way to waiting for your drink, you feel uncomfortable and like you're begging for a favour even though YOU'RE PAYING AND THE MACHINE IS gOiNg tO aSk YoU a FeW qUeStIoNs! and trust me, tip or no tip, that has not changed the attitude of the staff. If you look up the negative reviews on google, you'll see exactly who is the rudest and l o l, the way I'm talking about the exact same people. Anyways... do better, please.

The café itself is quite spacious with plenty of seating which makes it a great spot whether you want to sit and relax catch up with a friend or get some work done. Despite how stylish it looks it still feels comfortable and not pretentious at all. The staff were kind calm and efficient which really added to the overall experience. You can tell they care about what they are doing and about creating a pleasant environment for customers. I ordered a matcha and asked for vanilla to be added and it tasted absolutely lovely. It was smooth well balanced and genuinely tasted like it was made with care and intention. After a few weeks I really started to notice how busy this little coffee place is and I guess that's one of the reasons this shop has now been here for 12 years. It's been here for 12 years because the coffee is amazing. It's just not the coffee but there's nice things to eat with your coffee. There's muffins, cookies, danishes, nut bars (energy bars - no sugar added) There's bananas and empanadas too. Some of the items are made at the Supercoffee, but the other items are prepared by local bakeries. All the staff that work here are very nice and friendly too. In the summer months there's a nice patio in the back as well with music playing there too. If you live in or live close by to the York, South Weston area and specifically Mt.
