Almost like a fancy resort! The pros of this facility: Good food, good drink, excellent nursing staff that actually go the extra mile for their patients. Very clean throughout the entire facility. Everything was very accessible for wheelchairs, walkers and loading and unloading by the front door. The receptionists at the front desk were always warm and welcoming. Great physical therapy program, but they are tough on you. But, they have to be! Also no worries about people stealing your possessions in this facility. She's been to other facilities where they will steal anything if it's not bolted down! Cons: The only con was the varying wake up time between 4:30 - 5:30 a.m. in order to be up and ready for breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Even if you need assistance getting ready, the hurry up and wait is pretty ridiculous! It's understandable that the staff have a schedule to go by, but c'mon now! Other than that, my Mom says she was treated like a VIP there! Thanks for taking such great care of my Mom, guys! The other thing was I never met the doctor or spoke with him. I had to relay messages through multiple nurse about my mother's mediocre for two weeks before we got it resolved. Hospice came in and everyone worked well together. They all called when changes happened. I asked everyone questions and they answered them in a timely manner. I was there visiting my mother multiple times during the day through the week. I brought children there and everyone accommodated to us to have a nice visit. We usually visited outside in the garden courtyard. My mother took her last breath there and everyone made me feel I can be a mess. One nurse did call to tell me that my mom expired. That was how she broke the news she passed away early morning. Really?! Expired like she went bad?! I was too emotional to fight but that could of went better. None of the staff called me to see how I was, not even the doctor. They sent a card weeks later. But surprised how nice everyone was and got nothing after my mom passed away. It is a business though. But in all the memory care unit was a nice fit.

I have…read moremixed feelings about this place; the staff I've interacted with- Nursing, janitorial, administrative, were caring and proactive generally. To help the patients recuperate they have a parakeet named Applejack that entertains in the lobby. There are a few courtyards where patients can get fresh air and sunshine while out of the wind. My concerns are with the run down condition of the facility. My family member's room was without heat for 4 days during cold Ohio winter nights, despite bringing the issue up several times. We were not allowed to bring a space heater or heating blanket due to their concern with patient safety. The facilities staff didn't seem to have a clue on how to fix the heater- what does that tell you about the place. Every appliance, stick of furniture, bed and wheelchair are beat and look awful. Many of the TV's are without remote controls and a lot of the patients can't get out of bed to turn it on or off let alone change the channel or volume without assistance. Compared to two other Nursing Homes I've visited recently, this one is the last I'd recommend.

The front office staff has been amazing. And I can tell you the therapy, which is what I was sold on when Ally was in the hospital has been absolutely amazing. When I was in the hospital, I had problems walking. I was bed ridden, and wheelchair ridden for a number of months. After that, I came here and within six weeks of being here,Larry and Tom, both along with their stats, got me up and walking with ease and getting rid of my walker, still using my wheelchair and using my cane. I I am very blessed to be here and respect that I have for the care that I've been given is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for someplace to put your loved ones, I suggest this is a place to go. It's not always perfect but the folks that are here know how to take care of you and they take the best care of you that they can.

They don't read…read moredischarge orders sent to their rehab facility along with the patients, so they don't have a clue what medicines or care they should and should not be providing to their patients. On top of them not following the care plan, if a patient even mentions that what they're doing is not correct, they label the patient belligerent and then call the referring physician from the hospital to tattle on the patient. Only then, when the referring physician sets them straight that the staff is indeed wrong because they didn't actually read the discharge orders, do they agree to not administer medicine that could kill you. Please do not agree to come to this place. They may harm you out of negligence and overconfidence.

This place is absolutely TERRIBLE. My grandmother was here…read moreand the service was very unpleasant to watch. From the residents asking for help to the treating there staff like sh*t. They have call lights where when the residents right it goes off for aides to hear it. Aides ignore the lights on there phone. At least six residents have died from falling because their aide did not answer the light. They keep the terrible aides and fire there best ones. The management up front is also terrible. My grandmother would never get her morning or night meds on time because the where short nurses and they DON or ADON never came to help pass the pills. SARA also does not help. SARA and MOTHER sits in the office and watch the aides suffer. This is no place your love ones should be rather it's long term or short. Do not let the cleanness fool you this place is absolutely TERRIBLE.
