My cousin called the store and was told that she could pre-order to pick up next day which she did. When she called the next day she was told that no preorders would be honored and everything was first come first serve. She called later in that morning and was told that there was only a small amount of crawfish remaining and was told by the jerk working there that she "should have f...ing pre-ordered to get the full amount". I can tell you that I will NEVER recommend your stores to anyone ever again, and I do not plan to shop your stores, even if they are the last resource on earth. You have a nice day.

However it has continued to decline with tables of rotting produce, the salad bar being, first thing in the morning stocked with clearly wilted and uneatable spinach, old olives and other items that looked either old or like they had been sitting around for days. There were tons of friendly employees all working hard yet still I witnessed disgusting produce on shelves and general dirtiness from bags of molded rolls just piled on the floor to vegetables rotting on display.

Can't tell you how excited I am that we got an Aldi's near by now. 3rd trip here since it opened…read morethe end of August. Finally got to take my husband so he can experience it. The parking lot and inside the store is beautifully kept clean. Spacious yet small. The friendly employees make it so nice to shop there. I had my quarter ready to get a buggy and an older man gave me his. I tried giving him my quarter and he said no because someone had given him the buggy when he got there. So when we left I did the same thing and passed the buggy along. I spent about $25 on just meat which after bagging up I got 13 meals out of for our family. Spent $107.00 and got so much more than we would had at another store.

Someone compared it to Trader Joe's but definitely not as they don't have grab and go type meals. They do have lots of produce, meats and cheeses, frozen foods, and dry foods plus some home decor items. For some reason, it felt more like a warehouse to me as many items on display were in their shipping boxes opened up to grab one or many. The store was very open with high ceilings and no wait to check out as it's mostly self-checkout. Advised to bring your own bags. Some brands I recognized and some I did not. I saw employees stocking inventory and some at a customer service register but not a one greeted me, so again not like Trader Joe's. I have since been told of some specialty items to look out for, so rest assured, I'll be back for the "red bag chicken" aka "the chick-fil-a knock off chicken". Per advice from a friend, "If done right, air fryer or even in the oven, it's so good!! We call em (and I'm gonna spell as we pronounce in Southern accent) Chickee-feelays. Or chickees for short ."

Then get to the dairy aisle - only have great value brand of cream and half and half which lately is all they have been carrying. So I guess they no longer bother to stock the organic , or brand without the additives which means I'll have to go to a second store for that . Oh well ,at least I can get comet . Get to that aisle and the comet is still in the box with plastic wrap encasing it . Never removed from the cardboard box it came in . Sigh.I try to go to the central Walmart , even though it's farther away.

Pharmacy specifically! I am a stage 4 cancer patient and I…read moream on a lot of different medications. I first started using Walmart in Zachary after moving here in March. Moving here from the port Allen Walmart where my care was very well taken care of. I was apprehensive about keeping my medication with them after the first mistake they had made. I let that go and continued going there. I have chronic stomach issues from my cancer meds and I am on PPI's. They started giving me my stomach meds in a 90 day supply. Broken up into 3 bottles. Labeled 1 of 3. 2 of 3. And 3 of 3. Last month after using my bottle. I had no more bottles. Looking at it now it was labeled 3 of 3. Calling them repeatedly. They gave me the run around. When and if they answered the phone was a THING. Finally they placed the blame on me. Telling me I was probably stealing them and that they'd look over security cameras. Etc. I spoke with my dr to get me on a different medication in the meantime. So we switched. The med was Take one capsule twice daily. Then switch to one a day. I did. And I ran out I called and was reassured they were working on my script. It was being filled etc. I went today to pick up my meds. First girl (MAJOR attitude) told me it was too early. Sorry. I explained it was twice a day. SORRY! And she walks away (with attitude). Next girl. Super sweet. Consoling me. Explaining to me that they put it into the computer wrong and the fault was on them. Give her 10 minutes to over ride the system. I come back and she looks back. Then tells me she can't override it. And I could come back on the 19th. I explain I am going out of town on dr appointments could I have 7? She says yes. Then she came back with an oriental pharmacist with a mask over his face. He was rude right from the get go. Saying "She can't pay for a partial fill" Looked at me and said "Buy it over the counter " I tried explaining the story to him in entirety. He was extremely dismissive. Brushing me off. Rolled eyes. Told me "get better insurance " I feel judged now because of my health insurance. I admittedly lost my temper and told him this was the most ridiculous pharmacy I've ever dealt with. He said something I said go "f" yourself. And now without my permission is sending all of my scripts over to Walgreens. He has given them all of my information etc without my consent.

They also have the cheesecake as well. I will definitely be back for this. I was able to call the bakery before I went to ensure they had the cake before I went. The bakery answered the phone quickly and the employee was courteous. The store was clean and there was plenty of parking. There were also several cashiers at the check out, which moved the lines quickly.

They have a large hot bar with great lunch and dinner options for nights when you don't feel like going out or cooking. The produce selection is great and seems to keep expanding. She then told me to back into the last bay and wait for someone to come and give the tires to me so I could also verify my identity.Then a female employee approached me and told me to move out of the bay so another customer could come.
