I ordered the cheeseburger with extra cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and mustard. Food came out hot and fresh and the fries are hand cut. The meat on the burger was FRESH, AMERICAN Black Angus ground beef grown right here in NC. You just can't get any fresher meat. The bun on the burger was fresh and kept the sandwich together even with all of those fresh toppings. And they use the good pickles. Delicious burger! The fries are hand cut there in the restaurant and were fresh and delicious as well. The only thing I would've changed is to ask them to cook the fries a tad bit longer to crisp them up (my preference). They also have really good sweet tea and even though I didn't get a dessert, they offer homemade desserts at the counter and they looked yummy. One additional plus. Their prices. Very reasonable prices. After lunch, I checked out the livestock auction. It was very interesting to watch and that auctioneer was awesome. We got a chicken biscuit with home fries and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich (toast) with orange juice. It was very tasty and the wait staff was very friendly. It was very busy and the to go orders are taken at a walk up outside windows. Nice place to just get a good early breakfast if you have time to just relax.
