What a great experience ! Cagle's is a true diner from years past. We walked in seated ourselves, but our server quickly brought us menus. All the staff were young teenagers and seemed as if they were really enjoying themselves. The menu offers alot of options . I had a BLT for $3.75!!!! My daughters had a chicken wrap and my husband had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger one of the most expensive items on the menu for $6.50 :) There was a steady stream of customers, most seemed to be locals and there were several take out orders. It was an experience from yesteryear with good service, good food and good prices. read more

Recommended by local potter Frank- he said they had excellent burgers. Done. And easy since we were in the area stopping at local pottery shops- this diner was a cute cabin style diner. Service was wonderful- our server was sweet enough to give us a couple tips on who to go see. McKay Pottery and OQuinn Pottery were two of her favorites. We had already been to a few others. I was happy to make her suggestions a priority! The food hit the spot- we didn't think we would be hungry after our breakfast- but we worked up an appetite exploring Seagrove. My hushpuppie rings were delicious and I took my leftovers with me to snack on throughout the day!!! Loved those hushpuppies. First time ever going here and when you walk in, they have no sign to tell you to seat yourself or to wait. So we waited a few minutes then we just decided to go sit down. It took a good while till somebody came and took our order for our drinks and we had to ask for help after that then they came and took a while to get our food And it took a while to keep getting the attention of our waitress to help us with getting refills the Bill, to go boxes. Best little diner around. They have the absolute best hamburgers I have ever had. I cannot under state this. They are the best. I highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger. Service is excellent. Finally made it out to Cagle's Diner after the recent move into their new facility. I knew they were adjusting to accommodating much a bigger crowd and definitely take that into consideration. Service was great as our server went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. The food was really good but we could tell it had maybe sat for a little while before coming out. I'm sure this will improve as they continue to adjust to the bigger crowds. I def recommend this place just be mindful and patient as they co to use to adjust to serving a much larger dine in crowd. read more

The food is great and service is awesome! We do pick up orders but I know all the people at Cagles are Awesome!

We live pretty close and decided to try it out. Burgers and BBQ are good. We even get the apple bites which are great. As for service that is hit and miss, ordered some BBQ for pickup, but when I got there they said they were sold out...I had placed the order over the phone 15 mins before I arrived. Maybe have someone check or something before you take an order that is not available. Other than that food is good. read more

This restaurant does NOT care for their customers. They had a customer try to order a kid's meal when they called in a to-go order and they refused due to "not actually seeing the child". They are very rude and the food honestly isn't as good as it used to be. My fiancé and I have gone in a few times and ordered to-go a total of maybe 6 times and it's only been good once. On top of that, the person who runs their social media platforms is very rude. Not how you handle running a business. read more

I've attached 3 pictures. A large family tried to call in a to go order for them and their children. They were told on the phone they could NOT order the kids food because the dinner staff CANT see the children. When my friends then expressed their displeasure on Facebook the dinner staff were not only childish and unpleasant but they truly do not care about their customers, community or family's. I have NEVER had ANY restaurant say I couldn't order a kids meal because they can't see my child. Instead of trying to fix the situation Cagles Dinner thought it was a laughing matter. I would give negative 5 stars just for being anti family for to go orders. read more

I tried Cagle's Diner in their new location. They have to get their act together and quickly. I believe the waitress forgot to bring our burgers/fries to us. They were cold when we finally got them. There was barely any ice in our tea. I had to ask for more ice and a refill on the tea. I was disappointed but will give them the benefit of the doubt since it was day two in the new location. We were there this week while checking out the many local potters in Seagrove. This place was packed with a wait when we first stopped so we decided to come back after visiting a few more potters. It was thinning out an hour later. All three of us ordered the daily special of chicken and dumplings and had the same opinion. The huge "dumplings" were so thick and tough that a knife was needed to cut them nor were not cooked in the centers. My coleslaw came in a small plastic container with the date (three days earlier) clearly written on top, and the unseasoned green beans were clearly out of a can. The service however was very good and we tipped her for that, not the poor food quality. We will not be back. read more

Doesn't look like much when you drive by, but DEAR GOD!! The burgers are so juicy and the CHEESE! It is almost like the cheese is cut off a block! It just melts in your mouth. We have been eating to-go for the past year but they recently moved into a new building & its a nonissue that the wait time has increased by half hour or more, but more so the service! rude staff! i actually called 2 separate times last week & was asked to hold, i didnt mind, but then i was left on hold (i could hear everything in the background because they forgot to mute the phone) for over 45 minutes-i just wanted a cheeseburger, but instead of taking my order & hanging up for other customers to call, they tied up the line for 45+ minutes & then HUNG UP! i called back 3x & was hung up on each time- i also went inside a couple weeks ago to pick up to-go order & watched/overheard employees being extremely rude & unprofessional with one another in front of customers! it may just be my experience, but i feel the food has also gone down hill since their move- i get it, who wouldn't move to a larger location to make more profit- but they have done so at the cost of QUALITY! they have definitely turned into a quantity over quality & they are losing customers! not to mention the inexperienced "chefs" they have in the kitchen!
