That could've gone left, but it didn't. The waitresses were attentive and kind. No confusion. No drama. I brought three girlfriends -- their first time. I was feeling like the resident expert at that point. We were seated at a high-top near the back, right in front of the bar, after about ten minutes. And then... nothing. Fifteen to twenty minutes went by. No greeting. No water. No "we'll be right with you." Just the host who sat us. We were hungry, so I flagged down a server named Michael. I don't think we were in his section, but he said he'd take care of us, which I appreciated. I let him know we'd been sitting a while but weren't quite ready to order yet. The omelet didn't look as hearty, and I didn't really see the asparagus like before -- maybe it was there, maybe not -- but it felt different. My friends? Not impressed. One ordered wings and potatoes and said she'd take them home as soon as she saw them, to put in the air fryer. She ate maybe three wings. Another ordered the breakfast with ham, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. She said the "breakfast ham" looked like deli slices and didn't care for any of it. The third ordered French toast and bacon and boxed most of it up. To be fair, Michael stepped in when no one else did. We thanked him. But this visit didn't feel like the first two. And consistency matters. I know new spots in food halls are still finding their rhythm, and I'm hoping this was just an off day.
