OBX Affordable Automotive Repair was one of the top shops. I read the reviews and told my husband that we should drive over. I have to say that Jeff is an impressive mechanic! He got us in, replaced the alternator in about 2 hours! He's an honest, straightforward person. We genuinely appreciate him helping us out in this situation being so far away from home. Would definitely recommend! Thanks Jeff!

He told me to order the parts and set up an appointment closer to when I would be here. I did that and Jeff never responded in the two week window I gave him. Fantastic Service, Impeccable Experience!…read more I've taken my vehicles to many different mechanics on the Outer Banks throughout my life and none of them compare to the level of professionalism, experience, and customer service as Kitty Hawk Commercial Truck & Auto. I was able to communicate with the customer service rep over Facebook messenger and they answered all my questions promptly and satisfactory to my needs. I was able to get an appointment very soon within my availability. The first time I need them to do a full diagnostic of my vehicle. As well as fixing a few present issues. They provided me with a detailed description of everything I needed to get done and in order of priority. They provided cost for parts and labor. The customer service rep went over all of it with me, allowing me to gain trust in thier knowledge and experience. Because I was a happy customer the first time. I decided to come back. The second time I again spoke with the rep via Facebook messenger and they got me an appointment. I am unable to drop my car of during business hours which is OK because they have an overnight dropbox. I highlighted what I needed done, from the previous list they provided, and they took care of exactly what I asked for. The best part about it is that it was all at a reasonable price. Even though I leave my vehicle for them to ha e it all day so they dont have to rush or worry, in case they unexpectedly get slammed, they always get the job done in a faster time then I expected. If you're looking for real experiences in trucks and autos. If you want to get your vehicle fixed right, at a reasonable price and in a timely manner then you definitely need take your vehicle here. They will take care of you. I am one extremely satisfied customer for life.
