I have lived here for over 10 years. 5 stars go to great location, nice neighbors and well maintained BUT 1 star goes to...
Some of the board members are corrupt, namely the president. For example, the president because he is the president, thinks it's ok to park in other residents stalls... not for just one day but several because he has found out that you are moving. I have attached photographic proof since he will, deny or probably say it's no big deal... because he is a publisher for the building industry he feels he is best suited as association president to look out for his own needs. So many of the "rules" you find can be bent especially if you are the president on the board.... thus not getting your car towed when parking in another residents stall.
In the picture the empty stall closest to the wall (on the left stall 35) is the crosspointe board president actual assigned stall, where he parks his motorcycle and his car... but for some reason on the right is the presidents car parked in ANOTHER RESIDENT'S STALL for most of the day.
Another problem here is security and the resident manager, they always say to notify security if you notice something... but like the LifeLock Identity Theft commercial: they are only "monitors", they will just stand there with the look of confusion or not even show up at all. Granted I DO UNDERSTAND that they are not HPD, nor are they even close to that caliber of being professional.
Security here can only enforce house rules, which if you read the handbook that means there is no defined rules for them to operate in. It is like they have a job description with no clear job--Just show up in uniform and play pretend (they can't even tuck in their shirts to look professional). Majority of the security can't even do their job of "monitoring" if you call them, because they are to busy trying to stay awake, staring off into space, or putting notices on doors (which they can't do correctly either, matching the correct unit number to the correct door is a game of hit-or-miss for some of them). They have NO sense of urgency, or care for the residents (unless you feed them, then they will suddenly remember you and wave/smile) and they are protected by the house rules to do NOTHING significant.
If you read the other reviews it should make you question the association/management and security here. Obviously there is a problem... and the "rules" don't help. read more
