I recently came here on a Friday evening. It was not busy at all and it took half an hour to get our food. We ordered the fish tacos and the lobster ravioli. The fish tacos were fine however the lobsters ravioli was a complete rip off. For almost $35 and only getting 4 pieces of ravioli in a soup it was a complete disappointment. The ambiance was dim and mood setting however it did not change the value vs cost. I've been here many times in the past and the portions were definitely better and the service was better but after not coming here for years, this was not a good experience. read more

Great takeout experience from Crossings! The family ordered takeout during the current Ontario COVID lockdown. I've driven past this place often and think how cute it looks but have never eaten there. Easy online ordering and no fuss pickup (though you do have to go inside, there is no curbside pickup). I had the side house salad ($7) stuffed chicken ($20.5) and sticky toffee pudding ($9). The salad was fresh and a large portion. The stuffed chicken was tasty and I liked the white sauce and caramelized onions that accompanied it, though my chicken was a little dry. The sticky toffee pudding was a real treat. Huge portion, and great toffee flavour. Served with a fresh whipped cream. I'd order again and will definitely be trying out in person dining when that is available. read more

What an extreme disappointment. Items on the menu sounded good and interesting. Chicken Parmesan was overcooked and no moisture left. the pasta it came with had the blandest sauce I've ever tasted. Chicken Supremo came with overcooked roasted potatoes that could have passed as golf balls and the vegetables were definitely not fresh. The appetizer of Korean bbq chicken bites consisted of a battered pieces of chicken with zero sauce. No evidence of bbq'ing whatsoever. Server didn't ask how our main meal was once. Then upon receiving the bill, expressed our disappointment and was not offered an explanation or a redemption at all. Server then left all 4 plates with most of the food left in front of us for the next 30 minutes. Couldn't enjoy a drink on a clear table like this. Never again. I consider myself a foodie. Very impressed with the quality of the food offered here. I ordered takeout, so this review will not cover what the indoor dining experience is like. That'll come later. Specifically, I ordered a Mile High Meatloaf along with a side of fries. The meatloaf was served wonderfully, and the portions were huge. It came with the usual mashed potatoes and vegetables. The fries were delicious - very flavourful and somewhat crispy too. The menu is also quite large and has a good variety of items - typical for what you'd find at a pub. The food also seemed to be prepared rather quickly which is good, especially for those who are in a rush. This place is easy to overlook simply because of its location and "house-like" appearance from the outside. Don't make that mistake! Come and eat here, you won't regret it. The prices may be a bit high, but come on, it's a pub. You don't go to a pub expecting cheap prices. read more

I've been to the Crossing a few times, and I think it may be the best spot for food in the northwest part of London. The service has always been good and attentive. Never a complaint. however, I went in today and was excited about lunch because it usually never disappoints. I ordered a Guinness and received a Heineken, and I was a little baffled because when the server said she heard Heineken... Heineken and Guinness, aren't that close in pronunciation. To the server's credit, they did say that they would replace it. I declined, because if you can't get a simple drink right what's the food going to be like? I said I'd take the bill the server came back five minutes, later asking if I needed more time. As if they'd forgotten or ignored what I just asked for, then I finally just asked for the bill, paid, and left. So I paid $10 to sit in their dining room for five minutes while they got my order wrong, needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

I'm not a fan of pub food in general, but Crossings had me delightfully surprised. The restaurant is in a remodelled house which creates an interesting vibe--more cozy than I'd expect. There was a lot of variety in the menu from simple pub fare to fancier options. Even the sandwiches and pizzas had an interesting twist to them. I got the Po Boy Sandwich, which has crab cakes and coleslaw inside, w a side of fries. It was tasty but the crab cake was more starch than crab for sure. The photos on the menu are definitely more impressive than the real deal but I think that's typical. Service was efficient and friendly. Crossings is a bit out of the way if you live in central London, but it has variety, decent food, and a lot of space going for it. It's a great place for big groups. read more

I always think it's weird when someone other than our server brings out our food, especially when they always have to confirm who ordered what dish. But I guess it's more efficient? In any case, the pace of the food was a bit off. App took too long once ordered and mains didn't come out piping hot. The app was the garlic bacon cheese bread, which was a nice start but not a big wow. My cocktail - Spicy Watermelon and Blueberry Punch - was refreshing and delicious. I had the meatloaf sandwich which came with soggy shoestring fries and made me wish I ordered a burger instead. It was good, but kinda plain. The panko onion rings were just too large to deal with as well. I went in without a specific craving, which I think made the ordering a bit difficult and I ended up with something I wasn't quite in the mood for. I'm not sure. We had a reservation for 4 people on a Saturday night. We were seated in the bar section in the back corner. There was one other table occupied on the other side of the room. The music was really loud and we asked our server if it could be turned down a little. She advised us that there was live music starting at 7. The volume did not change. We ordered and 2 people who had just arrived were seated directly behind us, adding to the noise volume. There were lots of empty tables available. 3 of the 4 meals were unsatisfactory. The meatloaf dinner was delicious. The bun on the Nashville chicken sandwich fell apart making it inedible as a sandwich. The Po Boy was supposed to be on a hoagie bun but came on the same bun used for the Nashville chicken. Both buns were slightly charred. I had eaten more than 1/2 of the Po boy (crab cake) before I realized that it was mushy and undercooked in the middle. The sweet potato fries were great. The onion rings were overcooked. The fourth meal was chicken wings and they were dry and overcooked. All in all this was a very disappointing meal out. We paid for our dinner but on our way out told our server about the issues we had. We did not want to make a fuss but hope that this would be addressed in the kitchen. This place is seriously disorganized I made a reservation for a my spouses bday for my whole family 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived they said there was no such reservation. We purposely made them for the downstairs dining room as we had handicapped guests. Then we waited 20-30 mins for table in a tight hallway trying not to get in the bustling staffs way They gave us the first table which I appreciate but it was a pub table which was uncomforable for the handicapped members. General Manager told us they were buying first round to make up for all this we arnt big drinkers but hey they are trying so fine. They also failed to change the sign on which this was written, we noted as we left. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the staff are kind and attentive, and the food is amazing! :) I have came here twice in the past, and I experienced amazing service and food both times! Their menu is quite diverse, and the prices are worth it for the quality of the food. The desserts are also amazing! I believe upstairs seating is also available, so you never have to wait in line. Their parking lot is also quite large. I would highly recommend everyone to try out Crossings :) it's a slightly fancier restaurant and everything about it is amazing! read more

Found chewed gum on the small plates that were at our table. They forgot my mother-in-laws appetizer. They served Sol beer without lime. We told the manager about the gum and they did nothing on our bill. My pasta tasted good when I got it but I would never go back. It's a decent place for a pint and classic finger foods. Burgers are good but worst ribs I've ever had in my life. DON'T order them! Dry, over cooked, minimal sauce and not slow cooked so stuck to the bone. Good selection of pints, but man I can't get past how bad those ribs were. read more

At one time this was a great spot. We ordered tonight a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and a watermelon salad with grilled chicken. Both fell flat, they were thrown together, salads not fresh and one was gritty. The watermelon salad had no watermelon as the waitress tried to point out the watermelon in the salad she had to admit they were tomatoes so brought out a tiny bowl of melon. If I could give 6 stars I would! Their customer service is more than amazing! I had come here for a wedding reception and was worried about the lack of vegan options on their menu. I decided to call ahead to speak with the manager (John) about what I could possibly eat and he was more than happy to check each item (appetizers and all) and tell us the ingredients and find something for my friend and I to order. The bruschetta appetizers being served for the night unfortunately were on bread with egg so we couldn't have them but get this.. The manager comes back 10 minutes later with vegan friendly bread he had bought with his own money for us to have! They made a whole plate of the bruschetta, bell pepper appetizers just for us with the Ezekiel bread! We ended up having the vegetarian bowl after confirming the dressing was safe to have and they even offered to pan fry the brussels sprouts separately instead of deep frying in oil where they cook their meat dishes. They never made us feel bad for asking/double checking and they really took our dietary needs seriously. It's not everyday you find people/places that really go out of their way to show they care about their customers. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience. Came in Sunday at around 11:30 (they open at 11) for brunch; party if 2. Took an exceptionally long time for the server to greet us after we were seated. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benny however they were out of smoked salmon, so instead I went with the florentine. My friend ordered the pulled pork egg benny. The sever brought out the pastries which were ok - delicious but extremely buttery (you could feel it on your fingers after) The meals were super quick to come out, however, that was the end of the positive. It was very obvious that the eggs were done well ahead of time, and then reheated. A poached egg is very quick to make and the restaurant is not very busy so not sure why this is the ora rice. They tasted and had the texture of ricotta cheese, very off-putting. We were barely able to eat them and for the most part are around them. We would have brought this to the attention of the server, but they were not seen until it was the time for the bill. Additionally, both plates lacked hollandaise sauce - you could tell some was put on (maybe a tablespoon for 2 eggs) but the consistency was so watery that it just spread across the plate and one could not tell that the ingredient was present by taste alone. If it wasn't for its "yellow" colouring it left on the eggs I would not have known it was present. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and we will be taking our Sunday brunch adventures elsewhere. Went out for our Anniversary dinner on July 7/17. Slow to greet us at the door, we stood there for about 5 minutes. Ordered drinks than waited for at least 10 minutes for them to come. Than waited just as long for the waitress to take our order. I ordered the seafood skillet and my husband ordered the crossings steak. When our dinners finally came, garlic bread was burnt to a crisp, my dinner had 6 mussels and 4 were not open. Only 2 shrimp in the whole meal. The worst was the pasta need to be cooked a few minutes longer. When garlic bread was brought out it was not toasted at all and felt like garlic butter was poured over it. I wore most of it. My husbands steak was cooked right, but they put way to much juice over it. Vegetables (1 small piece of asparagus) and mashed potatoes were flooded. The waitress was trying her best but nothing done about the poor meals. Did speak with manger on duty and she did take our information and say they would be in touch with us. I did stress the disappointment we felt about the meal and the cost we stilled paid. As of yet we have not heard from anyone. I personal will not be returning or will I recommend it to anyone. You would have a better meal at McDonalds or Swiss Chalet and they would cost more than half of what they charge I would not even give this restaurant 1 star. More like --25 stars. As one of their new menu items, I decided to try the new green chicken curry. I cannot say how pleased I was to try this item from this amazing pub. Spiced perfectly with cilantro this dish was exactly what I was looking for when I did not even know it myself.I will be back very soon for seconds.
