We ordered the crossing burger, tomato vegetable soup and poutine and a drink. Total came out to around $64 CAD. I can't believe they charge $27 for a burger with fries. This place is steep, but they are the only food source for a long while. The burger was actually pretty good. It was juicy and a good size. The fries were really good. Crispy and creamy in the middle. The tomato veggie soup was also good. However, the poutine could have been a little bit better. The cheese curd was nice and bouncy, the gravy on the other hand, had too much corn starch in it. It had a weird texture and taste to it.

The "bar" sign posted outside may be referring to the one located inside the adjoining Mt. Wilson Restaurant (closed during our visit), but we did find 12oz bottles of Canadian domestic delights in the fridge near the cash register. In terms of food, the options were quite unexciting and come at a premium because what competition do they have? We ordered a fairly salty tray of Traditional Poutine because we had that "when in Canada" mindset. They keep the tables rather clean and AC was running very strong. The beers were cold and we appreciated the cool down sessions after temperatures picked up for the day.
