CrossFit True has become my extended family! It is not simply a matter of personal health/fitness as so much as it is a need. Some refer to CrossFit as an addiction, but to me it is beyond that. Each WOD is the highlight of my day, upon walking into the gym, it feels like a grand homecoming. I can't imagine my life without CrossFit, but more so, without CrossFit True. Since becoming a member in July 2013 my life has completely transformed. I am able to do things I never even imagined (pull-ups, rope climbs, 100lbs overhead!) and still continue to gain strength, courage, and inspiration. The best part about CrossFit True is the community and the coaches. Everyone is so encouraging and supportive! They helped me overcome my fear of heights, and of heavy lifting with compassion and cheer. I have moved steadily through all their programming because of said encouragement. Moreover, seeing my friends grow in strength and ability only motivates me to continue doing the same. The constant sense of teamwork and positive energy is what makes CrossFit True so magnificent. If you choose to do CrossFit (which I honestly don't see why you wouldn't!) there is no better place than CrossFit True! Having attended numerous classes at several different CrossFit gyms, I can say with confidence that CrossFit True Athletics is one of the best gyms out there. The facility is massive and extremely clean, the coaches are caring, instructive and motivating, and there is a communal atmosphere amongst members that makes one look forward to coming to workout everyday. My favorite aspect of this gym is the programming. The coaches program very responsibly and seem to do so with both its members long, and short term goals in mind. Too often CrossFit gyms randomly throw together workouts that are too taxing and difficult, which ultimately gives CrossFit a bad reputation. CrossFit True Athletics is a shining example of why CrossFit can succeed as a fitness program, and I highly recommend going to this gym. read more

Let's face it, this is the hardest and most challenging place I ever been to. The coaches " Mo specially" make sure that you sweat your butt off and do the things that you hate the most but at the end they make you get better at it, don't get me wrong if you are unable to do somethings or really don't want to do it they won't force you to do so, there is always an alternatives for whatever. The thing is you always want to come back They are really motivating you all the time and push you to do your best, and they are always looking to see if you doing the exercise the right way, and if you're not they try to help you to do it the right way. Over all the workout is amazing, and they are a great group of people that you won't regret knowing. read more

I've been to many gyms and participated in many work-out regimens in my lifetime, including the military. I currently compete in triathlons and was looking for a gym to help round out my workout, improve my core strength and decrease my risk of injury as I get older. And, I found exactly what I was looking for. Within 3 months I have dropped my running time by an entire minute/min, I feel better about my performance, and overall feel stronger/healthier. The coaches are extremely talented, making sure everyone is performing the exercises in a safe manner and immediately modifying workouts to accommodate injuries/individuals. This is the best gym I have been to! I am hooked and will never be able to go back to another place. The coaches are very motivating and knowledgeable about crossfit. They are always watching everyone to make sure they have proper form and to give feedback to help everyone advance. If there is something you can't do, the coaches can always come up with a modification until you can build up to the exercise. I have had reoccurring knee problems which have ceased since I have been working out at True Athletics. If you think you can't enroll in an exercise program because you have an old injury, it turns out you can! I would recommend this gym to anyone! read more

I have only been attending CrossFit True Athletics for about a month, but I already love it! I was nervous to start CrossFit at first due to my inexperience with any sort of cross training (I was a slave to the treadmill), but my nerves quickly ceased. The coaches at CrossFit True Athletics are so attentive and knowledgeable. I always feel supported and am never afraid to ask for help or suggestions - they really want everyone to succeed! About a year ago a co-worker of mine recommended that I try Crossfit when I became tired of the regular gym routine. I signed up for a free trial class at Crossfit True and then for a trial month after that first class...I have been there ever since! The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and are eager to help you improve your techniques and overall fitness level. This is a GREAT crossfit gym! I joined about five months ago and I am hooked! The staff is knowledgable, friendly, and always willing to help. The workouts are challenging but manageable and you are never thrown in the deep end without a thorough explanation of the exercises you're expected to complete. You will see/feel the results! The members are always supportive and we motive each other to continually do better, work harder, and lift more. I wish I had started working out here sooner!! What a difference it has made switching from a regular gym! I was quite skeptical about the whole crossfit movement, then I went to a class at True Athletics and have been hooked ever since.
