I was looking for someone who would work with my 14 year-old brother on the 5x5 program that his school had assigned for the upcoming soccer session. Filipe was fantastic. He modified the program to better fit my brother's soccer needs and was incredibly patient and down-to-earth. My brother worked with him for about 8 weeks (roughly 3x a week)and felt huge difference during tryouts. The facility is brand new and well equipped plus Filipe's pricing is incredibly reasonable. You pay as you go and there is no need to sign up for an annoying gym membership. Here is what my brother has to say about his time with Filipe: Filipe not only helped me to become a stronger person but a more determined one, as his deep knowledge of fitness combined with his welcoming personality and unending patience created an environment of hard work and perseverance. His emphasis on proper form taught me the importance of not only the weight of what I was lifting but the technique I was using to lift that weight. Additionally, Filipe did not judge me but rather encouraged me to keep going when I made mistakes, giving me pointers to do so, all leading me to not only obtaining the strength I needed but the knowledge and work ethic to continue to develop. So in closing, Filipe's knowledge and understanding of fitness not only create a friendly environment to work out in but a mindset centered on hard work and dedication. P.S. - I recommend arriving 5 minutes early for sessions to accommodate yourself before Filipe starts working with you. Every single teacher there is friendly and understanding, and explains not only how to do the poses, but modifications (to either up- or down- level), and the benefits of the poses and practice. It is a friendly, welcoming environment. I would recommend this to yoga newbies as well as advanced practitioners.

It's really tone deaf and speaks to this organization's lack of sensitivity to the more tender spots, which is weird for a yoga studio. It was a real turnoff and in poor taste. I wish they'd find a happy medium because I'd go more often if they could.

I do 30 minute sessions 2x/week with Jarrod. 2. Healthy amount of defined space to take a mat, grab an exercise band or just do anything that doesn't require a machine or bench. 3. I got there a bit early because, in my experience, you'll need to spend a few minutes signing liability waivers and chatting. The coaches, Dino and Perry, were great! Friendly and made sure I was well informed about what was going on for day and where the equipment was. The prior class was finishing up, and they were willing to share their mini white boards for me to us! As I was getting ready, many people helped me find or share equipment as needed, and there was more than enough space for a class of 15-20. Perry led the class and watched everyone, offering advise and making sure everyone was maintained good form through a rough workout. Drop in prices were average for most CrossFit gyms: $20, or buy a $20 shirt/tank and the class is free! I will definitely be back if I'm in the area again!
