Love this gym, the owners, the trainers, and the members. This CrossFit gym haas everything I need and more to pursue my passion in calisthenics as well as CrossFit. How is it possible that a 60 year old woman is in the best shape of her life? The answer is easy for me, crossfit Salus has everything one needs to believe that they can... so you do. Best trainers, best equipment, cleanest gym, best owners and best supportive members. I started 5 years ago and thought I was too old but started anyway for the challenge. It is the hardest but fun workout and you leave every day feeling accomplished. I was part of a regular gym for 5 years and only went 5 times in 5 years, here...I go 5 times in 1 week! I may be the oldest woman here but they challenge me like everyone else and I like that. I'm not the fastest or strongest but I'm am the fittest that I can be and that is good enough for me. Every workout is a challenge but modified for you. I feel as if I have a personal trainer without the expense. So thrilled with this gym that I had my husband and son join. This is what we do as a family. Thank you salus! read more

I needed to find a box near my parents' for whenever I rarely come home for a few days. I like to get my weekend workout in and luckily for me, I found CrossFit Salus through the Affiliate Gym Locator and I've been back thrice already! I haven't been here for a WOD yet but I've come to the barbell class. The class is engaging and you can work with whatever level you are currently at. Everyone here is super nice and professional. The gym is extremely clean and has lots of equipment. They use the space well and you never feel cramped when you're there for a workout. The owners and coaches here are excellent- they're very patient and friendly! They really take the time out to check on you, make sure you're doing your best, and that everyone is doing the movement correctly- you will definitely feel the warm welcomes! You really feel at home when you're here because of the staff and other members. Next time I'm home I'll def look forward to dropping in again! read more

One hour a day will put you in he best shape of your life in a fraction of the time it would take at a traditional gym. If you have any doubts, the gym offers a free introductory class and they let the class sell itself. Angie and Gino are smart business owners with integrity, you won't get that feeling of signing your life away that is notorious of regular gyms in the area and they don't try to come at you with hidden costs or try to sell you miracle supplements. With a free intro class you have nothing to lose, call or e-mail Angie or Gino to set it up, you won't regret it! read more

The best place and the best staff! You won't be disappointed. Family like environment

This place is awesome! I joined Crossfit Salus in April of 2013 and haven't been in this shape since high school (20+ years ago). Gino and Angela are great coaches, very patient for both new and advanced athletes. Before crossfit, I would go running and other gyms and be bored out of my mind. The classes are fun and I've made many friends there. I recommend trying out their free intro if you're thinking about it. read more

I was in town on business and dropped in for the 5pm class last Tuesday. I was immediately greeted by the head coach/owner, Gino, and he gave me a friendly welcome and introduced me to the other members. Everyone is incredibly nice, encouraging, and really makes you feel comfortable as a visitor. The equipment is excellent, well maintained, and includes racks/platforms. Gino is a very experienced coach and knows how to help you improve. Overall this gym has everything you need from coaching, programming, camaraderie, and equipment. read more

I get it...CrossFit can be incredibly intimidating. I have gone to a few boxes here and there and have never felt at home like I do at Salus. As someone who was not at all fully comfortable with the movements and pretty terrified of my first group class, I can truly say I was welcomed with open arms, and just 7 months later, I am in such a different place physically and mentally (not to mention I am down 21 pounds)! The coaches here are incredible. Each one of them brings something different to the table and I love training with all of them because they challenge me in different ways. They meet you where you are at, help you 1:1 and focus on building your strength and technique. Every 4 months or so they also have a nutrition challenge. I participated in June and that is when I really started seeing major results in my energy, strength & overall health. I love that it doesn't just focus on nutrition but also sleep habits, mobility, hydration and personal improvements outside of fitness. I have developed true lifestyle changes and good habits thanks to Angie and this challenge that have persisted since and I am feeling better than ever! The people here are a family. My husband and I who joined in January have not only formed relationships that motivate and get us through the workouts, but also friendships with amazing people outside of the box. It is so wonderful to be around happy, hard-working people that support each other and are always rooting for you and I am so thankful that we have found this place to call home. I highly recommend this to anyone, no matter what your skill level (all skill levels, abilities and ages are welcome here). And for those who are still a little scared of the barbells, they just started an endurance "Beyond the Orange" class on Monday and Wednesday evenings that I have been doing for a few weeks, that doesn't involve any "scary CrossFit" movements - lots of rowing, biking, interval running and body movement stuff (and they will always modify based on what you need). It is really helping me to be aware of my heart rate and how I pace myself through workouts and I highly recommend this to anyone looking to come try out the box! It is a great way to get in the door and meet some people and I would bet that very quickly, you will be hooked because you are immediately taken in as a part of the Salus family read more
