Strongside is a community of incredibly kind people who gather to be a better version of themselves, on a daily basis. The gym is incredibly clean. The people who go daily are so nice, and are always rooting for each other. Lifting each other. I work out among men and women of every shape and size. All of them trying to just be a BETTER version of themselves. A stronger version. A healthier version. As a middle aged woman, that feels wonderful. And the coaches are phenomenal. Was assigned to work with Khendal, the other trainer there, and over the last few months, she and Charles have worked diligently for me to form my ideal body. (Luke Cage baby!) I'm stronger, uh... maybe faster, and my stamina has increased. Definitely can lift more than on day one. To throw in a tip, nutrition is a huge part of working out. If you work out and eat an entire cake after, you aren't making progress and feeding you muscles what they crave. Protein. Lots and lots of protein. Under the Internal Arts system, the academy offers Tai Chi, QiQong, and several others in a structured curriculum that facilitates progression and at the same time allows the student to move at their own speed. This is the real deal. The owner, Master Mike Reid, is excellent and has owned and operated this school for many years.
