I visited this location today and was very disappointed when I was turned away. I walked in at 4:35:22 and was told I was too late. When I walked out of my car it was still 4:34 so I thought I had made the cut. I understand the 5 minute policy is to protect people and to keep the classes running smoothly, but if people arrive within that minute (cars don't have the seconds displayed), they should be allowed to join. This is very disappointing. I was very much looking forward to this class, had a crappy day and this was the me time that was going to make it all better and I was denied of approximately 20 seconds. I hope you take this feedback into account and allow people in if they're within seconds of the cutoff.

Steven and Shantay are a couple of great trainers - personable, driven... they take into account one's goals and know just how much to push. Like I said, I've been coming for the past year, about 3-4 times a week. In that time, I've lost 30 lbs (halfway to my goal) and gone down a jean size and shirt size. And, that's without going on any weird or starvation type diet - no changes to what or when I eat. The only change has been coming to the gym. I've seen the positive physical changes and have felt the change in my strength and energy. I'd easily recommend training here to anyone and everyone!

I trained here for 6 months 3-5 times a week. For some, Crossfit can be intimidating but the coaches help scale the workouts and break things down for you. There are no egos in this gym, just the best programming and a positive community of fitness enthusiasts. My 6 months at CynGym ignited my passion for fitness. I built great habits, made wonderful connections with the coaches and members, and gained substantial strength and cardio stamina. Since CynGym, as a consultant, I've dropped in on boxes all around the world. No gym honestly compares. From SF, to NYC, to Kansas, to London. Why it's the best: - Class size is around 12, which is perfect for the amount of instruction and coaching required. - There are several classes throughout the day that can accommodate for any work schedule. - Cynthia and all the other coaches are world class. It is clear they care about your progress and goals, and foster such a positive gym culture I've yet to find anywhere else. No toxic attitudes to be found. - Pricing is about 50% of the price of CrossFit gyms in SF and LA. - Fun fitness events year round, a community has really been built around CynGym. - It produces results. There are world class CrossFit competitors here. I make it a point to stop by here any time I can. If you're just starting your fitness journey or looking to push your limits, CynGym is the gym for you. CynGym is very special to me and has had such a positive effect on my life.

I have to say I have been so blessed to have found a home in CynGym Crossfit for the past 3 years…read more For years my husband and I had been looking for ways to get motivated and get fit...we tried the personal trainers, boot camp, and gym memberships but we would always lose steam after a few months. After a recommendation from a friend to try out CynGym, we immediately got hooked. CrossFit can be intimidating to many but the team of amazing coaches here made our introduction into that world so seamless by easing us in and working with us so patiently as we learn the world of squat snatches, deadlifts, wall walks and the dreaded thrusters. Three years later, I still feel that steam, that motivation, to sign up for each class and look forward to working out with other amazing athletes, regardless of their level. After having 3 kids, I never thought I would feel as confident, strong and empowered as I do after each class. However, it is only because we put in the hard work, time and genuine effort that we get to where we want to be and we know we still have so much to learn and so many more PRs to achieve. There's no better place I would recommend than CynGym to start and continue this journey!
