I've tried top tier too and I found the staff here to be more passionate/friendly. They have all kinds of programs and child care.

Their coaching and environment was incredible - my husbands words when we got in the car were "I'd definitely move here for this gym".

Top Tier easily accommodates a class of 20 athletes, all properly distanced six feet apart, with plenty of equipment for everyone. The Coach leads Athletes through a targeted warm up (specific to the goals of training that day), strength workout (e.g. deadlift/squat/clean/snatch/etc.), and then an intense CrossFit style workout of the day. After all Athletes finish, the Coach leads them in cleaning/sanitizing all equipment and putting it away, followed by a targeted cool down. Since COVID-19 hit, many of my friends, colleagues, and peers were worried about reentering a gym for fear of catching the virus or lack of cleanliness, but the Top Tier staff is working hard to ensure the safety of all Athletes who want to improve themselves.

The space is huge, clean, and beautiful with a lot of people who look like they know what they are doing, hence my intimidation. As I started my class, I became a lot more comfortable, the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I am very excited on returning and looking forward to the new challenges. Would defined recommend for all activity levels.

I have been going to Crossfit Revamped for two years and it is amazing…read more The coaches are great and experienced. The people are friendly and helpful. You can't find this nice of community any where else. No one judges you and everyone is encouraging. I know I struggle with heavier weight and some exercises, but everyone is supportive and helpful. I never could do rope climbs, pistol squats or headstand pushups and now I can do all three pretty successfully (some still scaled, but major improvement). The programming is great for experienced crossfitters, but also scaled for beginners or if you struggle with certain things due to injuries/problems with your knees/etc. I also have 2 kids, ages 6 and 4, that have done crossfit tots here and it is amazing. The coaches are so great with the kids and the kids love it so much. When they come when we are working out and they stay in the play area, they frequently ask about Mrs. Alea. Long story short, if you're looking for a new competitive box or looking for some where to start out, this box is the best bet for both options.

We've all been there - but just wait until you are the one that is hooked and can't wait to post your WOD results and share with all your Facebook friends around the World.... That's what happened to me. After researching CrossFit gyms for about a year I decided to go check Revamped out after seeing a post on Facebook. The other gyms in the area did not give me a good vibe when I called or emailed wanting some basic information. Everything was very straight forward and upfront, I emailed back and forth with Gary for a few days asking questions and getting information. Once I went, I was hooked! -and then I got my husband hooked! My son is even hooked, he started the Young Warriors program a few weeks ago. They have hours and memberships to fit everyone's needs. Gary is very knowledgeable and works with clients to scale workouts to accommodate for injuries (I've been nursing a lower back strain for about 3 weeks). If you are considering trying CrossFit, try Revamped. ***UPDATE*** It's been almost 5 months since I started at ReVamped, it has been amazing to see the gym grow and get 2 more coaches. Things did get a little crazy from a Living Social deal, but hey, it brings in new business, right :) Seeing a small business succeed in today's economy is rare, and ReVamped is succeeding and will be around for many years to come!! It is also nice to see coaches that practice what they preach, Gary recently won the Winter Warmer competition in Philadelphia, and Alea won the Crofton SuperFit in the Fall.

Can I give more than 5 stars?!…read more The business model is physical therapists are your fitness coaches. Hour long mall group (14 max) classes run from 6am-6pm. An app tells you what the workout will be, and enables you to track your data. We pre-test certain workouts, build strength, mobility, and skill for about 12 weeks, and then re-test those workouts again. Such a solid, motivating way to see progress. Membership includes a monthly 1:1 with a coach/PT. Membership is not cheap, but hey, we're all going to pay for our health in some way at some point; I'd rather invest this way than spend money on insulin or heart surgery. There are various discounts, including couples and annual memberships. Membership also includes 24 hour access to the facility. I have gotten measurably stronger and more fit in the 6 years I've been working out at Recharge. In that time, they supported me through 2 major orthopedic surgeries, COVID, and menopause. Yikes! One of the very best things about Recharge is the community itself. The coaches and athletes are genuine...it's not a "bro" gym, it's not a place where only the coolest kids merit any assistance. I go 4x/week to workout with my friends. We laugh, cry sometimes, and cheer each other on. And yet it's not clique-y. The community is so strong that we now have social gatherings...there's a book club, bourbon tastings, a monthly game night, and more. Just. Do. It.

The facility is massive -- it almost feels like a mall. There's a cafe, indoor pool, plenty of fitness areas, and spacious locker rooms. Everything felt very clean here which is a plus. The Sunday 10:45am vinyasa class was advertised as "medium heat" but it barely felt heated. The instructor wasn't my favorite and the flow felt clunky and disorganized. Her queueing wasn't very clear and if I were a newbie yogi, I'd be pretty confused. Most of the class was spent in child's pose or savasana and I would've preferred more time to flow and play. The studio itself is fairly small for the size of the rest of the gym. As a guest recently, I had to download the app in order to get my guest pass which was pretty annoying. I've never seen another gym do that and didn't appreciate the extra hoops to jump through. Overall, if this gym was closer and less expensive I'd consider it but for now, I appreciate the chance to be a guest here.

It feels like all the money goes to extras like the sitting areas, pickleball courts, classes that cost additional money, etc. The only gym area is the second floor, and even that is taken up by classes. Machines are often broken and dirty, kids are CONSTANTLY running around unsupervised and playing on the equipment, and the gym etiquette has taken a severe hit. You see people filming, reading up multiple machines, sitting for an hour while scrolling, and not putting things back. I had to change my workout so many times because the free weights were missing entire bands of weights. Again, the staff is incredibly kind and nice. But the gym does not deserve the almost $200 a month price point. I would pay $40.
