I did not take classes here so my review is not based on them…read more This gym's one positive is that it's pretty inexpensive. I did not care for this gym at all. There is zero energy in the place. If there is music playing its quiet. The batteries for the remotes controls for TVs are frequently dead. It is difficult to even watch TVwhile on cardio equipment because they are small, not all HD and there is no headphone option. Often times TVs next to each other are on different channels making impossible to hear either. There is not a good star climber. There is only one decent bike. The pin loaded equipment is old, possibly old enough to drive! On an early visit, one of the staff asked me how I got in!! I was furious. I get it if he doesn't recognize me but how about welcoming me instead of making me feel like a criminal. Frequently out of towels. Locker room is straight out of the '80s. That thing needs some updating. It could also use a good cleaning . Lots of green algae growing on the grout.

I have been working with Les for almost a year now and the results have been amazing…read more I had been working out on and off for most of my life. I have never made progress like I have with Les. He is exceptional at providing critical feedback, keeping me safe, and pushing me beyond what I knew I was capable of doing. He has an uncanny ability to design a routine customized to the needs and limitations of my body. Before working with him I would often tweak muscles or injure myself working out. Working with him I have never had any issues. I had back pain for almost 13 years prior to working with les. I thought that it was just something I had to deal with. I had tried yoga, massage, and a variety of other things to alleviate my pain, but it wasn't until 4 weeks into my program with him that I noticed I no longer had any pain. It wasn't even a goal that he and I had discussed. I imagine it was a result of learning to move properly and developing strength in the proper areas of the body. The progress is slow and steady. There is no promise of a quick aesthetic fix, but the results come at a healthy pace. If you're looking to feel better, move better, look better, I highly recommend checking out the facility and speaking with Les Raymond. He will change your life.

I am 55 years old, 6'1", 182 lbs and used to workout like 20 years ago, then drifted off track for a long time. Here's are the results that have happened since signing up: 1. Wife said, "Hey, your butt was disappearing, but now it is coming back!" 2. I am filling out my shirts and shorts again. 3. I have more energy. 4. ALL physical activities are better. 5. I am watching what I eat a little more consciously. 6. I stopped making excuses for not working out and now somehow I have the time to do it. 7. I found out that, by myself my workouts were lazy and I did not push myself, but with an instructor-led small group and professional program, I complete the workout and push myself. Other thoughts: 1. The trainers at Forever Strong are helpful, kind, motivating and experts at the techniques. 2. The unique program combines weight training, core strengthening, and cardio all in about 45-50 minutes. It is a well rounded approach and great experience. 3. The program changes every 9 weeks entirely and each workout during a given week rotates among 4 different themes/variances to keep it interesting and balanced. 5. Since I am actually using what I am paying for, it is a fair value and exceptionally high return on investment for the monthly price. 6. Their web-driven scheduling system allows me to reserve my space in the session that best fits my weekday and time. 7. Forever Strong sends out helpful video emails with new techniques and exercises. I highly recommend Forever Strong for people who are committed to getting stronger, feeling more powerful, and taking their fitness to the next level.

I really loved this gym. Has a lot of good equipment. This gym helped me lose over 50 pounds. But…read morethe only problem is the owner. Currently we are required to were masks in the gym. I understand that and I wore my mask pretty much the whole work out. But towards the last few sets I took it off in-between sets, since it got to the point of me finding it very hard to breath. I loved this gym and have also listen to the rules. I never let anyone in, I cleaned up after myself, I even put weights away that others did not and the same with wiping down benches that weren't. I was at a really low point in my life and this gym helped me build my self esteem back up. But the owner is just out right rude and unprofessional. Of course it was my luck that he saw me without my mask on and never caught anyone else, when almost everyone had it below their nose. He came in and in a rude and disrespectful way told me give me your key and leave. So I gave him my key and left. Apparently after I left he was cussing me and my friend out about it and was yelling. That is no way to treat your customers. I was training in fear towards this point being scared he would kick me out and give me no warnings for the smallest mess up. I've seen him border line yelling at two teenagers because one forgot his key fob so his friend let him in. The owner didn't even ask about the situation and said give me your key. The staff there are really amazing and nice people, its just the owner. You don't yell at teenagers and cus your customers out, didn't even give us a warning. He did not even tell us why he just said give me your key and get out. If the owner is replying to this, you should change your habits. You are scaring people away from this gym because of your non professional and anger issues. As a owner you do not cus out your customers, who are teenagers too, and young. I've given over 75$ worth of guest passes to them, convinced friends to join and now I don't get a single warning and he cusses me out. Avoid this gym. One small mess up, not even if you meant too, you will get kicked out. Every person with common sense will know not to cus at their customers and be out right rude and disrespectful.

If you are new to CrossFit, intimidated to walk through the door, let the Cove be your first gym…read more Brian, the owner, will make sure you feel comfortable and are ready to step into your first class. I was terrified to pick up a barbell, and in the intro class, you become familiar with the moves with a PVC pipe first. All of the coaches are amazing. They truly meet you where your fitness ability is and give you plenty of options to scale moves and weights to what you need. They also are really good about challenging you enough to get stronger. The classes are fun! They're hard, but you don't even mind when you are working out with people who are cheering you on and jamming out to the music with you. I've never met a better community of people to workout with. I genuinely look forward to going to the gym. There are plenty of times that work for any schedule and you have the option to go to open gym. It took me MONTHS to walk through their door, and I wish I did it sooner. Let me tell you, the coaches and members do not make this gym intimidating or closed off. I was so welcomed on my first day. Everyone cheers everyone on, no matter how small the win. These truly are functional movements and I already notice some ease of the physicality at work. I only have good things to say about this place. I'm so happy this was my first CrossFit gym. This was exactly what I was looking for and needed in my fitness journey! Come be a Covie!

Patrick came off as really motivated and interested in helping me reach my fitness goals at first. After about a week, though, it felt like that interest disappeared. He seemed lazy and wasn't nearly as involved or helpful as he was in the beginning. As a beginner, I was expecting more coaching and guidance, not less. The one bright spot was Natalie. She was always willing to help, answer questions, and make sure people were taken care of. She genuinely cares, and honestly, I think she should be running the place because she does a much better job with members. Overall, I left feeling like they cared more about getting people to sign up than actually supporting them once they became members.

Whenever he talks, it comes across more like a salesman trying to sell his services than someone who's genuinely invested in helping people change their lives. I understand every business has to make money, but when you're working with people who are trying to improve their health and confidence, it should feel more personal. To me, it felt like he was more focused on getting as many members as possible than actually helping them succeed. Don't let the "we're beginner-friendly" pitch fool you. That wasn't my experience at all. If you're new to CrossFit and looking for a gym that's truly invested in teaching and supporting beginners, I'd skip this gym.

The owner and staff are fantastic - warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your progress. Communication is always clear and easy, and the space itself is incredibly clean, which I really appreciate. The workouts strike the perfect balance: challenging enough to feel like you're making progress, but not so intense that you're crawling out the door (been there, done that elsewhere). They work with you to help you reach your goals, and that personalized approach makes all the difference. I enjoy exercising but don't want to feel like it's a punishment - and this place gets that. I leave feeling accomplished, not exhausted. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive, results-driven environment without the burnout.
