I have been doing CrossFit for about 5 1/2 years and I have seen all kinds of boxes and coaches over the years. Walking into CrossFit Brock I already knew it was going to be a little different. Reese and April are obviously very passionate about CrossFit..... they built the box on their property right across the driveway to their house. Starting at a new gym/box can be intimidating but from the moment I walked into CFB I felt like a member of the family. All the coaches are very welcoming. From the beginning it was obvious that the coaches are not only committed to helping you have a great workout but they are very knowledgeable on good movement patterns and scaleable options to the workouts. The programming is top notch and continues to be challenging. CFB is also very family friendly. They have a room for the kids with toys and a TV and a big window so that you can see them while you are working out. Been a member here for about 2 1/2 months. I drive about 30 minutes , and pass by 4-5 other Boxes. Why? Because the coaches are the best. They are on top of all the current trends and workouts of Crossfit, they actually coach, and help each athlete at the level he/she is at. The coaches take great pride in there own physical care, the box is always clean and has any and all equipment needed to get the best workout. Top notch facility. And one of the main things for someone like me, at nearly 50 yrs old, it is a 100% no judgement zone. But also, my 16 yr old son just started , and the coaches are right there with him to make sure he's doing everything exactly right. All the members have a great attitude, supporting each other, and also just there for a great workout and to have fun. I have been doing CrossFit for 3 or 4 years and I can't say enough good things about this gym. The atmosphere is very welcoming and family oriented. Reese and April are great coaches and have hired great coaches to help them. Everyone is well informed about movement patterns and the programming is challenging. Great box and even better coaching and community!! My kids love the family friendly atmosphere and room outside to play. This is my fourth box and by far my favorite!! It's clean, the equipment is pristine, the coaches are great, and it feels like family!!
