Restaurant on site serves excellent food. Snack bar does not have lattes, one drawback. Another BIG plus is the spa- excellent prices on pedicures, really nice products, I love my facials here, also has massage. They have another location in Hooksett convenient to my house, but I like the main club much better.

When notifying the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said they would reach out. No one contacted me. On Monday, 11/24, I found out the front desk staff had misplaced my information over the weekend. They asked for it again and I provided my email, specifying that I'd prefer to be contacted via email instead of phone. I specifically told them that I would be at work all day and would not be able to answer a phone call. I watched the front desk agent circle my email and write "best contact" with my own eyes. Later that Monday, I received a call from another representative, who had to leave a voicemail because I was busy at work. Their voicemail essentially told me to check lost and found. No mention of my jacket being stolen or a crime having been committed. Given the lax response from the gym, I decided to file a police report. I completed the process online and was notified shortly after that the case had been accepted. I was given a case number. On Tuesday, I once again notified the front desk staff that I would prefer to be contacted by email. I specified that someone did call, but that I was unable to answer because I'm working. I also notified them that I filed a police report, and emphasized that any correspondence between us would now need to be written. I also reiterated that I know a crime occurred because it was a small window of time (6am-7am) and that my jacket had a broken zipper on one pocket, meaning whoever took it knows it does not belong to them. I am irked by the way the gym responded to this. I am also disappointed in their poor performance when first reporting this crime. This gym charges $115 monthly with a $175 annual fee. You're better off going elsewhere for far less money. I have been going to much better gyms since I was in high school and I've never had something stolen from me. I added a picture of a row of broken ellipticals. This is typical for this gym despite the amount of money it charges its members. There are also broken pieces of exposed, sharp wood in the men's sauna that ownership refuses to properly repair. Buyer beware.

Good luck trying to read anything that's not back lit. And the music? I've heard/seen multiple complaints about it. This is supposed to be a fitness club not a 70's Rock revival. The only reason I continue going to this place is convenience. They really need to implement changes to help their patrons enjoy their visit. Not dread it.

Terri is truly interested in promoting good health, not some unrealistic stereotypical image that is unattainable. Terri has added numerous specialty classes (since the transition from the previous franchise) and I've tried several of them, each one is fantastic. One of my favorite classes is Bodies in Motion, which is 30 minutes of stretching and foam roller work, something I never take time to do on my own. The Yoga classes are another favorite of mine - I leave feeling relaxed and revived. I love that each week is a new focus for the 30 minute training classes (e.g. Unilateral, Trainer's choice, Core). Each week is different and continually keeps you challenged and avoids boredom. The Focused Female occasionally offers educational classes on topics such as hormone health, quality sleep, and gut health. The classes are very informative and NOT a sales pitch. I've attended a few of them and have taken away valuable information that has enriched my journey to become a better me.

Nutrition program is relatively new and I haven't taken full advantage, but you can use as much or as little as you want; I take recipe ideas and short term challenges that help motivate me. I had a job that really took a toll on my muscles and I needed something I could access at odd hours of the day since my work hours were not consistent. I haphazardly started following along to one of the videos even though my intention was to just lay on the floor in the heat. needless to say, it was amazing. I'm not someone who regularly works out and I'm not even someone who likes the heat but I knew the infrared would be good for my tired muscles. Somehow, the infrared sauna makes it easier to move. And strangely, even though you're sweating, you feel so much cleaner afterward because your pores have just released everything! Make sure to drink lots of water so you don't pass out but I highly recommend this particular location. Everyone is so friendly but if you want to work out in private, like I did, the app is so useful in being able to see if anyone else is in the sauna you would like to book. There are even fun monthly challenges on little pamphlets you can fill out to help keep you motivated and going in on a regular basis. I really like that it's not weight oriented and more just about getting your body moving.

In fact, it is the only one I have found in the area that actually has a steam room! It has the usual amenities, including a pool, sauna and spa. It has large TVs throughout the gym, even has them in the changing areas. The showers are really private with a changing area with a bench in each shower. I have not seen that at any other LA Fitness. I don't take the classes so I can't comment on them. But for my purpose (going to the pool and sauna/steam room), this is a great club!

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service at LA Fitness…read more I have been a member of LA Fitness since 2009, and I am extremely disappointed with the way my wife and I were treated during our recent visit. Although I do not use the club regularly because I have cardio equipment at home, I still visit approximately six times a year to use the steam room. I have maintained my membership for years, and I recently wanted to introduce my wife to the club by getting her a three-day guest pass. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk was unacceptable. The representative requested a state-issued ID, but my wife only had her Resident Card with her at the time. The representative refused to accept it, insisting that a state ID was required. What made the situation even worse was the representative's unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. As a result of this experience, ultimately canceled my membership stating that she did not give a damn about it anymore. After being a member since 2009, I find it disappointing that one employee's behavior can ruin a long-standing customer's experience and lead to the loss of a membership. Policies are one thing, but how customers are treated makes all the difference. LA Fitness should seriously reconsider how it trains its front-desk staff. Customers deserve courtesy, respect, and professionalism, regardless of the situation. After more than 17 years as a member, this is certainly not the experience I expected. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses this type of customer service.

The gym itself is clean and comfortable, with well-maintained equipment, and the 24-hour access is a great perk, but what I can say for certain is that the management is absolutely top-notch.
