This place was super cool and really eclectic. This is kind of off the block but we were there for a nerf birthday party. For this party, they rented out the nerf area where it had a sitting area for the parents and a play area for the kids. It has obstacles and little hiding spots and was really fun for the younger kids. They also had another area that had gellyball but our kids were too little. It looked really neat and then to the far side they had ax throwing. Throw in a few arcade games and this is a great spot to pass some time in Wilmington.

We attended a birthday party at Crossfire paintball. There is a large space with tables set up for parties along with a few arcade games separate from the paint ball and nerf rooms. My son and the most of the guests were around 11 years old. The boys were provided instructions on how to use the paintball guns. They were given helmets with face masks and the game was on! Teams were made and rules provided to keep everyone safe. The games last a few minutes as players are eliminated as they are shot. The boys absolutely loved it! Suggestion would be wear long sleeve shirt and pants, and if you can pad up your clothing that helps! It does hurt when you get hit. After a few games, we took a break for pizza and cake. Then.....back into the obstacle/barrier battle room they went. We will definitely go back to play and my son has asked if he could have his party there. Great staff, fun and place to go for indoor activity.

My brother in law wanted to come check this place out for Father's Day. After signing the requisite waiver we were escorted into the main area. There we were outfitted with masks and guns, while the kids got safety vests. I wore jeans, long sleeve shirt, and sweatshirt, and although hot, was glad I had the protection. For $25 approximately you get 100 paint balls which lasts anywhere from 15-45 minutes. You can also purchase more paintballs at anytime during the game which allows you to play as long as you'd like. It's a definite adrenaline rush as you're dodging bullets. Note that it WILL sting, no matter what you're wearing, but it dissipates pretty quickly. It was fun since we had the whole place to ourselves but I imagine it would be even better with a larger group. The guys running it were super chill which was nice.

Took my kids (9,11,and 13)here as part of our summer bucket wish list. The place is top notch! I suggest you get the 500 paint ball package when you go. The price is all inclusive (you may want pants and long sleeve shirt). The staff is friendly safe and great with younger kids. They really enjoy the sport. They do use smaller paint balls so if you have young kids (7yr olds) they are able to play (bring them a long sleeve shirt) I found the smaller paint to be nice indoors and the gun speeds are all preset. They use premium barrels on their equipment (radial holes for good ball spin and accuracy). Honestly on your own you'd spend $100 a person for a few rounds. This is a steal to just walk in and shoot your buddies! Thanks crossfire for the epic day!

Awesome indoor activity for kids. A little pricey but there's no time limit so it's well worth the money. It's great for groups and kids of all ages. My 8 & 7 year old joined a party and had a blast! Wish they had one in Onslow county.

What a day! Incredible. Our group of five and some of the staff.

The other two times, I called the day before and was told that they had plenty of availability for walk-ins (the most recent date only had one appointment scheduled for the entire day); however, upon arrival, I was told that they were full and had more appointments to come. The owner then said "she'd check her computer to see if what she could do" [to work us in]. So we waited...and waited. After 20+ minutes, she had not come back, so I inquired about her being able to squeeze us in. She said she still hadn't had time to look at the computer. I watched her do far less urgent things than assisting a customer, especially when young kids are involved. She clearly had no intention to try to help us, so we left. During both of the unscheduled encounters, I've found the owner to be rude and unaccommodating. My best advice is to always book an appointment - even when not required for the project. If you don't, don't expect any help from the owner.

The Little Gym had been recommended to us, so we tried an intro class. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a few friendly people. My partner and I looked at the gym space and wanted to play on it ourselves - it looked so fun! The class itself was well-structured without being overly scheduled. There were a series of activities along with some free play and some offered "spotting" from the instructor. The instructor had such positive, encouraging energy. We tried things with our little guy that we wouldn't have thought of before, like a supported front flip and back flip. He got to play with bubbles and play on some equipment that he really enjoyed. I really, really appreciated after class that we were walked through the membership program BUT not pushed with a hard sell. At this point we've decided that the cost is higher than we're willing to do for now. We don't anticipate raising an olympic gymnast, so the idea of spending over $1,200 a year on classes for our baby is more than we want to do when he's so little. But once he gets a little older, I think a membership is in our future.

This place is functional as an indoor soccer field, and Janine (the owner and operator) has created an athletic environment for adults and children which is great. The field/play. I won't say much about the carpet since it will be replaced, but you CANNOT wear anything with studs. So no out door cleats for sure; recommend futsol shoes if you can. Christmas will come with gifts of new turf. It will not have the rubber under it, but it will definitely be a HUGE step up. I believe once this happens, I will consider upping this review to 4 stars. The field has this "arc" that is approximately 10' from the goal which is different than anything I have ever played. Actually, that is why I am dropping a star. The rule does not allow ANYONE to go into the arc (similar to hand ball). The goalie cannot come outside of the arc unless one foot is in or jumps out; this is just UN-NATURAL! I have been playing for 27 years and I cost us two penalty kicks because I was in the arc when I was trying to stop the ball. I think it is just over thinking injuries and trying to be too protective of the keeper. However, if a defender was allowed to actually put the goal to his back, he can protect the goalie more...I just want everyone to know, it is very different and I don't like it. Moreover, one sideline has a wall (12' highish) and the side closest to the stands has a net...I have never played in a place where the net is INBOUNDS?!?!? I know it is expensive, but I would recommend plexiglass. The ball is a sudo nerf ball...When I asked Janine why, she said that it is easier on the goalies since they get hit so much (THIS IS BECAUSE DEFENDERS CANNOT BE IN THE WAY OF THE SHOT DUE TO THE ARC or the goalie cannot come out!!!). Lastly, people do not wear shin guards, although you can if you want. Leagues: Seems there are three divisions and I believe she said there are 28 teams this season? 10 games and each team costs $400. Skill levels vary, but the games are 5v5, so most people run a 1-2-1 or a 2-2 formation. Subs are on the fly and D3 didn't have to much aggressiveness (I saw 3 games). Our game was at 830pm, but I believe D3 plays on Wednesdays from 730-1030 pm. D1 is Mon...D2 Tues... The facility can host birthday parties and has a large stands area for the size of the warehouse...I guess people have been playing pick up at this location for 10 years or so and it use to be a lot smaller. They also have after school kids activities. I read the flyer and was pretty impressed with their commitment to kids. Recommendations: 1-Change the turf...2-get rid of the ARC and let us play normal indoor soccer....2-put plexiglass up...4-see if we can add another field...5-play with a real soccer ball.
