I was worried I would receive the wrong one but Ms. Stephanie from the Customer Service team was able to get me squared away immediately. She was polite, courteous, and totally understanding about my situation. I am wrapping up a very disappointing experience with CrossBreed's Customer Service, as I have just completed packing my Reckoning holster to return for a refund. And, I have to pay for the return shipping. It's a shame how this went down. The holster was for a S&W M&P Shield EZ 380, the Performance Center model with the extended and ported barrel. I ordered a Reckoning holster. Shortly after placing the order, I sent a very detailed email to CrossBreed, listing all the individual features that this model has, that other EZ's may not - including the ambidextrous safeties, the extended barrel, etc. I figured I would be proactive, given that the Shield and EZ models can have confusing model number designations. You may have already guessed where this is going. I never received a response to the email, the holster arrived, and its length did not account for the extended barrel. It's evident that the holster is molded to end at the frame. So, the gold barrel extension protrudes beyond the end of the holster. Not good. I sent another email to them. Again unanswered. I then tried a chat this morning. After 45 minutes, no resolution. They maintain that I was sent the correct holster, even though a photo I sent shows the gold barrel protruding below the holster - not by much, probably a bit less than 1/4 inch. But it's there, the ported barrel extension, visible and unprotected. But according to their folks "it's the right holster." My suspicion is that they only have one mold (if that's the right word) for the M&P Shield 380 EZ, the Standard model that does not have the barrel extension - and therefore it does not account for the barrel extension on the Performance Center model. Yet they continued to disagree. I guess Customer service is not their strong suit. Two emails unanswered - the first of which having been written proactively to avoid the very problem that occurred - then the persistent silliness regarding "it's the right holster." Recently I placed an order online and had issues at checkout resulting is multiple orders of the same item. Their ordering group caught my error and notified me of the issue. I told them what I was trying to order and they corrected my order. Could not be happier with the wonderful customer service crossbreed provides. I wanted to first say that I have owned and used many holster, but the Crossbreed holster has been the most comfortable and rugged I have had. Retention is great and the quality of the product is very good. The metal clips that come standard are sturdy and I have no problem with them, unlike some bigger competitors clips that have become weak. Their products are great. However manufacturing and shipping takes forever (many weeks). Also, every six months or so I return my holster for repair/replacement. I had to purchase an extra one so that I can use one while it takes weeks for the other to be repaired/replaced. I tried suggesting some design improvement but they weren't interested and I guess as long as they have a life-time warranty, I'll just keep returning it every six months. I also tried to suggest some features of the holster that make it ideal for quickly drawing a gun while seated in a car. Again, they were not interested in my suggestions. Oh, well. Just picked up the Ram car mount for my handgun and it is rugged and has excellent craftsmanship. Very thick kydex shell that doesn't crush or flex holds the gun in so perfectly tight, your gun couldn't fall out if you put it upside down and shook it. Very happy with this product. read more

I placed an order for a gun belt. When I received it the belt was an inch shorter than I needed so I sent it back to exchange for the same kind, only 1 inch longer. Says on their Web site two week free trial so I didn't expect any problems at all. I sent the belt right back and then got a call saying they had to charge me a $10 restocking fee. I'm a new customer and placed my order for a few other things as well so my order was $100. I told the business manager I thought it wasn't right charging $10 fee and again told her I was a new customer. I then asked her what was more important, a new customer spending $100 this order and being happy or a $10 fee and a pissed off customer who will never do business with them again? She told me she has to charge the $10 fee. No problem Crossbreed, cancel my entire order and refund my money. I guess $10 is more important than a happy returning customer. Too bad too because I was just about to place another order for quite a few more holsters and belts totaling close to $1000. Enjoy your $10 fee, you just lost $1,100 in sales over $10. Have to update review. ..I sent crossbreed a letter explaining my frustrating experience and got a nice email saying they would correct this and apologized. Decent holsters, but the wait time is ridiculous for what you get. I ordered in early May--at the time the website indicated it would ship within 8 weeks. Now it looks like it will be around 11-12. I wouldn't mind so much, except they charge you at the time of order, *not* when they ship. I think that kind of stinks. Also, bear in mind that we're not talking about a meticulously hand-crafted leather holster--it's a molded piece of kydex riveted to a piece of cowhide. I'm giving them a grudging 2 stars because a) they do make a quality, inexpensive product; and b) I've ordered twice from them in the past without these issues. But I will not order from them again unless they change their business practices. There are plenty of other makers that craft a comparable product--I'd suggest checking them out before you purchase a Crossbreed. read more
