The amenities are great (hot tub, pool, 24/7 gym, beautiful landscaping and courtyard, well-maintained dog park). As a dog owner, my interactions with other tenants were pretty regular (i.e. small talk at the dog park). Most people are friendly, but also generally stick to themselves. The front office staff completely changed in the 3 years we were there, as well as a change of ownership in the last year or so. The maintenance team (specifically Terry) is always quick to resolve any issues. Even after business hours, they have an emergency maintenance person on-call. We had to use this a couple of times, once for a flash flood. After a night of heavy rain, I woke up to soaked carpets. The maintenance team responded quickly (same day) and ended up having the carpets lifted and aired out with fans for 5 days. My only complaint with that is that the fans were noisy and chilly, and the carpets were not replaced. Ever since that incident, I felt our unit had a faint musty odor. Because we lived here for so long, we missed out on some nice renovations. It seems that right after we moved in, other units started getting their carpets replaced with vinyl wood flooring. I tried to talk with the front office about getting our floors replaced, especially after our carpets were kind of ruined with the flood. I even offered to moved all of our things out so they could renovate for as long as they needed, and the idea was shut down pretty quickly. The new front office manager just told me it cannot be done while a tenant is living in the unit. Rules are rules I guess. I even considered moving units just to get the newer flooring, but knew I would be moving out of state within a year or two, so it wouldn't have been worth it. Separately, for the price you pay, the units are definitely lacking storage space. In our 1 bedroom unit, there was 1 small coat closet by the front door as well as our walk-in closet intended for clothes. We ended up renting out a garage unit just to have a place to put our seasonal decor and extra toiletries. Just something to keep in mind, and I'm kind of a "minimalist". Overall, we enjoyed living at Legend V and would recommend it to a friend willing to pay a bit more for the nice amenities. The apartments are gated and located in a safe, yet convenient area. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I will miss my time living here!

I have a been living at Foutain Lake for 2 years. This the worst apartment complex to rent with…read more Allow me to go over our problems we have had. In our first year, our car was broken into. It's not the apartments fault, but they refused to offer help in the police report. They have video cameras outside the complex, but they don't work, it's more of a scare tactic. we asked for a 10-day extension on rent so that we could recover belongings and repair the car windows, but they refused and said they would evict us if the payment wasn't made in time. They didn't even apologize or care about the break in and how it affected us. From that point, I did not want to renew. But with our finances, we didn't have the opportunity to apply elsewhere, or gather money for deposits, etc. This was the beginning of felling trapped with nowhere to go and forced to stay with poor service. Now in our second year at the apartment, we had had additional problems. In February we started to notice black mold growing around our living room outlet. We put in work orders, but the only thing done was painting over the black mold and outlet. That does not take care of the problem!! They refuse to complete work orders professionally. A couple weeks later, my wife and I got pregnant and submitted the same work order. We asked for it to be done professionally, but the same thing was done. Only painted over but this time, a new outlet was installed. It hid the fact that they just paint over messes. We eventually paid our own money for this to be completed. I couldn't live in it anymore with a pregnant wife and was taken back about the lack of service we were receiving. Couple months go by. This summer, we returned home from vacation to our DRYER completely filled with water. They tried to blame me but after getting several estimates and PROFESSIONAL maintenance companies to look over the issue, on my dime once again, they replaced our dryer. Brand new and shinny, but still, so frustrating it gets to that point. They offer no help and give poor service. We asked what a buy out on rent would look like. They don't have that option. You are locked in for the full term. We had 6 months remaining, and if we wanted to leave, we would have to pay all 6 months. No 60-day notice or buy out options. On the lease agreement, they advise to approach them with problems or if you ever need anything. They make it seem like they want to help, but they don't. The final straw. I was supposed to be paid on Halloween but my boss did not complete payroll until November 3rd. I asked for the late fee to be removed since I did not receive my check in time. They said no. Do not rent with any caseusa apartment or duplex. They are the worst.

**BEWARE** Please read my review before considering renting here…read more First of all, let me begin by stating that these are NOT "luxury" apartments. Calling them luxury is misleading. These are very standard, basic, average apartments like you'd see anywhere else. I have lived in luxury apartments and I have lived in average apartments; I know the difference. With actual luxury apartments, you would see nice amenities like large walk-in showers, garden/jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom, floor to ceiling windows, track/mood lighting, nice views, secured entrances with concierge service, dimmer switches, elevators to above ground floor units, high quality carpet or real wood, keyless entry, and generally, luxury apartments are "smart" homes where temperature, lighting, and entrances can be accessed via app. These apartments have NONE of the above. They aren't luxury by any stretch of the imagination. Anyhow..... This past Saturday, my husband and I were driving past these apartments and decided to stop in. We weren't super impressed with the outside, but thought we'd check them out as we were interested in moving to the area. We met with Misha. Before we even went on a tour or inquired about anything, we were very upfront with her and told we had a recently discharged bankruptcy due to multiple surgeries and medical bills. We were assured it shouldn't be a problem and that, at most, we'd be asked to pay a $400 "opportunity fee." We said fine, and with our minds at rest, we decided to go on a tour. The walls are paper thin, and the steps seemed to be rickety and cheaply constructed. It didn't feel safe walking up or down them. The apartments themselves are very small for the rent they are asking. The living room and kitchen, in particular, are just tiny. Plus, they're very plain. There's nothing striking about them at all. Despite our misgivings, we decided to go ahead and apply as we were eager to move. Several red flags here. A. Misha told us that all we'd have to pay upfront is a $75 application fee per each adult over eighteen living in the unit. Since it was only my husband and myself, that would be $150. Fairly standard, so we were fine with it. Then, we were told we'd have to pay a security deposit to hold the apartment. Again, that's fairly standard so we agreed. However, what she didn't mention was that, upfront, you must always pay an administrative fee and a "decorating fee." This brought the total up to $625...that is just to apply! This morning, I got a call from Misha stating that her manager said that a $400 opportunity fee "would not suffice" and that she was requiring SIX MONTHS OF RENT UP FRONT or a co-signer...and the co-signer had to have excellent credit with a monthly income that was FIVE TIMES THE RENT. That was the only way they would rent to us. Six months of rent would have been $8,508 and it all had to be paid upfront. Now, if Misha had been upfront with us and told us that we may be required to pay six months of rent right off the bat, we NEVER would have applied here in the first place. My husband called Mission Point and asked if he could speak to the manager to try to work something out. The manager REFUSED to come to the phone and speak with my husband. She'd rather have her low-level functionaries do the dirty work. Keep in mind, my husband and myself are respectful, working professionals with verifiable monthly income that FAR exceeds their rental requirements. We also have 15+ years of solid, verifiable rental history where we have always paid rent on time, never been evicted, and have never been problem tenants. We are clean and quiet. However, this wasn't enough for Mission Point. We would have even been willing to pay first and last month's rent upfront to show goodwill, but no. That wasn't good enough either. PLEASE steer clear of this place. I believe their only goal here was to take advantage of us, shame us, and create a hostile and impossible financial situation for us. **EDIT** My husband did, 100%, ask to speak to the manager and she refused to come to the phone. I don't care if it's in your records or not; that's what happened. Secondly, the possibility of us having to pay six months rent up front was NEVER mentioned to us, which is misleading. When tenants have a solid rental history, verifiable income that far exceeds your requirements and a willingness to pay first and last upfront, that should have been more than enough. Asking a tenant to pay six months of rent in advance is unreasonable by any standard, especially knowing that the vast majority of people don't have the kind of money socked away. You can talk about customer service all you want, but the facts are that your employee mislead us about fees and about our chance of getting approved even though we were upfront and honest about the financial situation.

The maintenance guy told me that all the one bedroom apartments have a 40 gallon water heater and that I need to make sure no one runs the hot water when I'm in the shower even the washer and dish water. Also my thermostat does not shut off the furnace. Making our electric bill over $160 each month. It just blows nearly warm out the vents, preventing the thermostat reach the temperature I set at 73 degrees in the winter. It sucks I have to go to Crunch Gym to take a HOT SHOWER after a long day at work. The bright side of it all is that the Leasing Office is doing their best to help us feel comfortable living in our apartment.

They are either in a state of disrepair or just plain ignored. They are in a perpetual state of "open". I realize they are not very "safe" oriented. It was literally for a person that was 3 foot tall with rails everywhere and lots of accommodations for a person in a wheelchair. This was not a place I could move into and was a false advertisement for the unit that I was promised. I had to find somewhere new to live in one day Due to the conditions this apartment was in. If you move here I highly recommend checking the unit long before you are due to move in. They were very helpful after the fact. But doesn't take the stress of it all away
