We had a rather large patio built by Dipietro. The workers really worked hard and when it was…read morefinished, it was beautiful. The patio was terraced with as much as 10" of concrete. The patio was finished early fall. During the winter, the concrete cracked in several places. I called Mr. Dipietro, he came to look at it and said "concrete cracks in New England, nothing I can do". I asked if he could send someone to cut some relief spacing. Someone came and cut. Still not happy about the cracks in a brand new patio. The following winter there were more and deeper cracks. I did not even bother to call Mr. Dipietro. We had some ice damage repairs done at the house and the contractor said "I can fix your concrete". He fixed it with some filler and I am sure it will fade with age. The contractor also said he wished he could blame any mistakes he made on the area in which we live.

We brought Mike in to add hardwoods to the only areas that were missing it: the master dressing area and walk-in closet, kitchen and basement. This wasn't an easy job, and Mike discovered a lot of "surprises" along the way, including concrete in the kitchen over the sub flooring and pitted/missing cement and leveling issues in the basement's cement floor and foundation. Not only did Mike tackle these with ease, he only ended up adding a day and a half to our original timeline. He came over to take measurements within a few days after we spoke and he provided an estimate and design within a few days after that. The price was very reasonable and the design maximized the space in my somewhat awkwardly designed closet. I had to delay the install date due to other work being done in my home and Bill was able to reschedule to a new day very soon after the original date. The work came out just as I hoped and with even more space than I had imagined. One minor post install issue came up and it was remedied they very next day...on a Saturday. Use caution in selecting this contractor!! Gary Seifert is not licensed as a Massachusetts…read morecontractor. He acts as a subcontractor under licensed contractors. His work on metal roofs is inferior; he does not follow the manufacturer's instructions. The result is metal parts coming detached. When contacted, he promises repairs, but never follows through. In my case I purchased the necessary parts, but he would not follow through on his promises.
