My massage was the worst I had ever had with poor technique , inexperienced staff and non existent customer services . I went to the Main hotel reception afterwards to notify them I wanted to make a complaint and was given the details of who to email, after 10 days I had no reply so on 7th Jan I sent a copy by registered letter to the Hotel Manager but as other people on here have already stated on their reviews no one at Greenwoods is interested in contacting you let alone deal with any complaint Below is a recap of my sorry experience that my poor daughter bought for as a birthday present for me in the belief that I would have an afternoon of luxury and pampering ...... how far from the truth that turned out to be !! Be careful before you spend your money at this place . "After filling in the questionnaire I was shown into a room and told to get undressed - when the therapist left I realised there was no where to put my clothes so had to put them in a pile on the floor. As the massage started I asked if the pressure could be increased 3 times as to be honest it was just like having oil rubbed in with no pressure and very poor technique . I was told that it was a Swedish Massage and that she could only increase it a little. I have had many massages over the years and am fully aware of the difference in massage techniques and this was poor. She did improve around the shoulders but unfortunately was unable to sustain the pressure and we reverted back to ' rubbing in oil' . The last straw came when she announced that she was going to give me a Hand and Arm massage - this amounted to rubbing oil into your arm and stroking your fingers At this point I gave up any hope of getting the professional massage I had expected from Greenwoods Spa and waited for the disappointment to end - which it did after 45mins instead of 50mins !! I was asked if the pressure had been ok and I said no. She apologised and asked if I would like to speak to reception I said ' yes please' I picked my clothes up off the floor and got dressed and went to the Spa Reception to find no one there - I visited the Ladies Room went back to Reception and still no one was there. At that point I left and spoke to the Main Reception who gave me the name of who to contact to complain . The rest is history !!! "

Have booked this venue twice this year for an engagement and a pre-wedding party. It's a great…read morevenue with fabulous facilities! The lady I booked through and the caretaker are both wonderful. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly. The hall has a super modern kitchen and the toilets are modern and great! We loved this hall and will always book it in the future and would highly recommend it............it great value for the price!! Thanks!! Debbie
