We love it here, our favorite bakery with a store-front! Don't pass on the Passon Fruit Mango (Danishes? I think) they're my absolute favorite. Staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. Never had a pastry here I didn't love. Prices are incredibly fair and everything is super fresh. Only wish they were open Sundays! Too good to go bags are also good from here, you'll leave with pastries and tons of bread. Inside is very vibey and a little dark, plenty of seating and standing room. True European style recipes and ingredients. You won't want to miss this stop! read more

They were closing and they still let me purchase some croissants and, boy, they were good! I tried the cookie dough, cinnamon sugar and the almond croissant. They were huge! All were excellent and we ate them for 3 days. read more

Every single time I go, they act confused that I am there and want to order something. I had to ask for something four times I had to talk to three different people. And still didn't get my order right. I had to end up leaving without some of my order because they just forgot about half of it and I was so fed up by that point. Hardly French at all. Croissants taste like the ones you buy in bulk at Sam's! Ordered the Rueben....who puts tomato and lettuce in a Rueben and then doesn't toast it. Served cold on dry tasteless bread. Cute place but nothing like a real quality bakery! read more

We got there midday and the place was pretty much packed. I bought some of the sweet pastries to go and ordered a chicken salad sandwich on croissant to eat there. The bread was delicious and flaky. The chicken salad was a disappointment. It was loaded with onion - which I love but there was so much I couldn't taste any of the other ingredients. I think they do a good job overall and I'll go back and order something different for my meal. read more

It was a cute place, food wise it felt more like a lunch place. The salad was great but I bought a couple croissants and they were all super hard, the bread was burnt and the quiche my mom bought was pretty much all onions. I wouldn't go back just because the salad was the only thing I liked. We also went for the menu online, the dessert croissants and strawberry tart and when we got there they didn't have anything they advertised online. The current menu was really small and they said the baker wasn't there. read more

Such a gem in Mandeville! Alan and his daughters do such incredible work at their bakery and it shows. My wife lived in France for several years and it reminds her so much of her days there. The pastries are so lovely, the sandwiches and lunches are incredible (I love watching him roll out fresh pasta when he offers it). Learned about this bakery/restaurant two days ago. This place is outstanding! Fresh baked breads and pastries!!! I tried an assortment of several items. All incredible. They also serve crepe dishes so I went back for afternoon lunch and took a friend. Go early, they were sold out of almost every bakery item by 2 pm and they close at 5. We ordered crepes -ham and cheese and turkey Florentine. They looked great but the crepes were buckwheat which we didnt like. I learned after receiving our lunches that the type crepe can be specified. The "white" (most standard crepe) is how the dessert crepes are served. When I go back I will request that crepe. Buckwheat has a special flavor that i dont like, even in pancakes. The only other recommendation I have is to brew iced teas. This may not be possible for their business model but it would be amazing, if possible The bottled options do not complement the excellence of their products All that said, this will be a regular. read more

Oh my goodness! There's a reason they named the place croissant (which admittedly I thought was sort of basic and strange at first) Their croissants are simply magnificent- the absolute best almond croissant I have ever eaten in my life! The filling was obviously fresh and homemade. Sweet, but definitively not overpowering and sugary like most American bakeries. They have all the croissants including different kinds like caramel and pistachio! Just the sweetest little bakery on the Northshore! Beautiful Homemade loaves of fresh baked breads are perfect for taking as gifts to people too! read more

This place is amazing! So glad Mandeville finally has a traditional French bakery. The baguettes are some of the best I've ever had.

Just found this gem today! When you walk in you are greeted by a ton of freshly baked pastries! They also serve lunch, quiches, crepes, juices, and coffee. We got 3 different croissants, they warmed them in the oven, and they all tasted wonderful. There is also an outside patio to sit. They also have a wall of different wines for purchase. Service was speedy, wait was not very long at all. Parking may be an issue. If the lot is full then you have to park on the service road. read more
