Tried for the first time and it was excellent. The flavours of the espresso chai pound cake were phenomenal. Will be back when I am on the northshore. read more

First experience was not super impressed but that was when they first opened. Service seemed slow, limited items and pastries were ok. My pastry was a little dry. Latte was bitter. Fast forward to today. Was in the mood for an almond croissant. Decided to give it another try. Still not impressed. Hours say they are on Saturdays. Yelp shows they are open. Automated message when calling says they are open. Made the drive over. They were NOT open. read more

CAME BACK TRIED AGAIN UPDATE: I feel like I'm in Paris, or back at culinary school either way I leave here with a big smile and a belly FULL! The owner is so kind and I love the atmosphere catch me here at least twice a week sipping a cappuccino with a weekly creation (CHEFS PARADISE) read more

They were closing and they still let me purchase some croissants and, boy, they were good! I tried the cookie dough, cinnamon sugar and the almond croissant. They were huge! All were excellent and we ate them for 3 days. read more

We love it here, our favorite bakery with a store-front! Don't pass on the Passon Fruit Mango (Danishes? I think) they're my absolute favorite. Staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. Never had a pastry here I didn't love. Prices are incredibly fair and everything is super fresh. Only wish they were open Sundays! Too good to go bags are also good from here, you'll leave with pastries and tons of bread. Inside is very vibey and a little dark, plenty of seating and standing room. True European style recipes and ingredients. You won't want to miss this stop! read more

Oh, my God! A real French honest to goodness bakery on the north shore. Scare Blue, mon die! it's absolutely fantastic. You have to go there. We have guests coming in for the weekend so I am coming back here on Friday to get a box of pastries for them to try and you should too for Easter. read more

Nice experience. Went for lunch. Had pesto pasta and small salad very good! Will be back.

Every single time I go, they act confused that I am there and want to order something. I had to ask for something four times I had to talk to three different people. And still didn't get my order right. I had to end up leaving without some of my order because they just forgot about half of it and I was so fed up by that point. I keep thinking they're just having an off that day but nope, it's literally literally always always like that. read more

Little French bakery. The owner is French and knows a lot about Europe. The atmosphere takes you back to Europe. The food and pastries are always very satisfying no matter what your mood is. read more

Unparalleled in our area. Great baked goods and pastries sandwiches etc. breakfast and lunch. My only complaint is they are closed 3 days a week. read more

Great Pastries and Croissants. We bought some for out of town guests and they were Fantastic!!! I went up to the counter and asked whoever was standing there for what I wanted to order and was helped right away!! Great Service!!!! Very Friendly read more

Hardly French at all. Croissants taste like the ones you buy in bulk at Sam's! Ordered the Rueben....who puts tomato and lettuce in a Rueben and then doesn't toast it. Served cold on dry tasteless bread. Cute place but nothing like a real quality bakery! read more

We got there midday and the place was pretty much packed. I bought some of the sweet pastries to go and ordered a chicken salad sandwich on croissant to eat there. The bread was delicious and flaky. The chicken salad was a disappointment. It was loaded with onion - which I love but there was so much I couldn't taste any of the other ingredients. I think they do a good job overall and I'll go back and order something different for my meal. read more

It was a cute place, food wise it felt more like a lunch place. The salad was great but I bought a couple croissants and they were all super hard, the bread was burnt and the quiche my mom bought was pretty much all onions. I wouldn't go back just because the salad was the only thing I liked. We also went for the menu online, the dessert croissants and strawberry tart and when we got there they didn't have anything they advertised online. The current menu was really small and they said the baker wasn't there. read more

Such a great little place the selection of pastries and food is/can be overwhelming, and they make everything from scratch , I don't see how they manage to put out such an array of pastries, so far there isn't anything I've tried that wasn't delicious , the people are very nice, even when you can't decide on what to get read more

Great food, service and ambiance! I love the French onion soup and the fresh croissants!

Staff is not very friendly and food is just okay. I've never had anything that I'd want to come back for and buy again.

Great pastries! Always delicious and innovative! A piece of France in Mandeville. Highly recommend

All around amazing family fun business and bonafide French bakery! Everything was to die for!

Such a gem in Mandeville! Alan and his daughters do such incredible work at their bakery and it shows. My wife lived in France for several years and it reminds her so much of her days there. The pastries are so lovely, the sandwiches and lunches are incredible (I love watching him roll out fresh pasta when he offers it). There's no other place like Croissant on the Northshore and we are super fortunate to have it! read more

Learned about this bakery/restaurant two days ago. This place is outstanding! Fresh baked breads and pastries!!! I tried an assortment of several items. All incredible. They also serve crepe dishes so I went back for afternoon lunch and took a friend. Go early, they were sold out of almost every bakery item by 2 pm and they close at 5. We ordered crepes -ham and cheese and turkey Florentine. They looked great but the crepes were buckwheat which we didnt like. I learned after receiving our lunches that the type crepe can be specified. The "white" (most standard crepe) is how the dessert crepes are served. When I go back I will request that crepe. Buckwheat has a special flavor that i dont like, even in pancakes. The only other recommendation I have is to brew iced teas. This may not be possible for their business model but it would be amazing, if possible The bottled options do not complement the excellence of their products All that said, this will be a regular. read more

Oh my goodness! There's a reason they named the place croissant (which admittedly I thought was sort of basic and strange at first) Their croissants are simply magnificent- the absolute best almond croissant I have ever eaten in my life! The filling was obviously fresh and homemade. Sweet, but definitively not overpowering and sugary like most American bakeries. They have all the croissants including different kinds like caramel and pistachio! Just the sweetest little bakery on the Northshore! Beautiful Homemade loaves of fresh baked breads are perfect for taking as gifts to people too! read more

The fresh bakery items are both beautiful and delicious. Service is frkendly and prompt.

This place is amazing! So glad Mandeville finally has a traditional French bakery. The baguettes are some of the best I've ever had.

The best breakfast sandwhich and pastries I have ever had in my life. Everything is INCREDIBLE. It is 100% a must stop!!

The food was extremely good! Wait was a little longer than expected but worth it. :) We got the almond twist, hazelnut twist, and crepes. read more

Super yummy!!! Have come multiple times since they opened and love it. Tried their tirimasu eclair and it was delicious. My fiance tried the raspberry cream cheese cake and he loved it as well. I hope to try their lunch options soon! The staff there are wonderful as well! read more

Great sour dough bread. Breakfast croissant was good but could have been warmer. Will try again. Great ambiance and service folks were very nice. read more

Just found this gem today! When you walk in you are greeted by a ton of freshly baked pastries! They also serve lunch, quiches, crepes, juices, and coffee. We got 3 different croissants, they warmed them in the oven, and they all tasted wonderful. There is also an outside patio to sit. They also have a wall of different wines for purchase. Service was speedy, wait was not very long at all. Parking may be an issue. If the lot is full then you have to park on the service road. read more

We came Saturday morning, and it was absolutely delightful. Coffee was smooth, flavorful, and enjoyable. I got the breakfast croissant, and I wish I had gotten more than one because it was so delicious. Everyone here is so kind and friendly! It feels like you're transported to Europe between the authentic pastries, coffee, and ambiance! I'd highly recommend! read more

Just awesome! Only hard thing is deciding what to get. That and the self judgement on coming back for lunch too.

The pastries and desserts are made on premises. The quality of their products is excellent. This is an incredible gem of a place !

Delicious! Love the quiche and salad. The chocolate cake is great too!

We just discovered this place for the first time today and tried a large assortment of pastries. Everything was incredible. The ham, cheese and fig spread croissant was one of the best pastries I have ever had. I'm excited to go back and try more! read more
