    Fruity Pebbles Dream
    Ayden P.

What I Ordered: Cookies & Cream Croffle Fruity Pebbles Dream Croffle Cinnamon Toast Croffle A new dessert spot opened up in Anaheim, so I had to check it out! Croffle House offers the most delectable croffles in all of Orange County. Croffles, a new trendy dessert, are a hybrid of Croissant, with its buttery and flaky layers, and Waffle, with its crisp golden exterior. There have been many hybrid pastries these days such as croffles (Croissant + Waffle), cronuts (Croissant + Donut), and cruffins (Croissant + Muffin)! If you want to croffles, you need to visit Croffle House! My favorite was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which is a croffle with cinnamon toast crunch cereal as the main topping with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. The soft doughy texture of the croffle along with the crunchy Cinnamon Toast Cereal is combined with the sweet flavors of the cold vanilla ice cream, which was intensified even further with the addition of caramel drizzle, making it the perfect dessert. I promise this will make you come back for seconds. The Fruit Pebbles dream comes with fruity pebbles cereal and a drizzle of strawberry syrup. Fruity Pebbles used to be my favorite cereal when I was growing up, so this one brought a hint of nostalgia. If you like more of the fruity flavors, this one is definitely for you. You can also add ice cream on top of this as well, which I feel enhances the overall flavor profile by providing a more full taste of the dessert.  The Cookies and Cream is the most popular out of the three, which comes with Chocolate syrup, oreo crumbs, and a scoop of ice cream. You can actually choose the flavor of ice cream between vanilla and chocolate, and I personally recommend the vanilla flavor. Cookies and Cream is always a solid choice for a variety of desserts, especially ice cream. Yes, Cookies and Cream is my favorite ice cream flavor :)  Staff was amazingly nice as well! What's unique about this shop is their delicious combination of toppings with the croffle! If you want to try this new and trendy dessert, make sure to visit Croffle House in Anaheim, California!

However, each subsequent time, the overall vibe of eating here has gotten worse, with my final visit being the last straw. I felt like their cleanliness and service deteriorated over time. This most recent visit (it was several few months ago now), my boyfriend and I were seated by the window. After we put in our orders, we saw this HUGE ASS COCKROACH crawling on the window and basically edging onto our table. We got an employee's attention and let them know about the cockroach, and the employee basically just grabbed a napkin and snatched it, and I got the vibe that he was used to it lmao. Then he walked away. Another server asked us if we wanted to move to a different table and obviously we did. I feel like at that point I should've walked out but we had already put our orders in and I didn't really want to make a scene. It was hard to finish our food tbh just because of what we'd seen. We also paid full price =_= I have never asked to be comped at a restaurant in my entire life, but I felt like they should have offered to cover our drinks or something because we both got coffee. Anyway, after that experience I basically never wanna come here again :/ which is sad because I think the menu is actually great

The service was fast and we were checked on multiple times at the right intervals. My husband's coffee and my hot chocolate were continuously refilled without having to track someone down. This was our first time there, so we didn't know about portion sizes. We ended up ordering a bit too much but we know for next time. We did family style on everything. My husband ordered the crepes, I ordered the cheese omelet with a side of hash browns and my daughter ordered the pancakes. All very good choices. I think the crepes were definitely the standouts though. I don't think the other items had anything extraordinary about them, but just the overall experience of ordering, easiness, attention to detail from server combined made everything extra special and us wanting to add this place to our favorite places.

The staff was welcoming and the restaurant cozy and simple. It reminded me of the kind of small town restaurant you might find in the mid-west, unassuming but friendly, with a nice family and "after church" kind of vibe. Service was prompt, the waitress friendly. Coffee and drinks came very quick. I had a California omelette with roasted portables. A good choice, it was tasty and filling. Definitely try the banana bread as a side. It is excellent! Also worth getting one to go. Overall, eating at the Scratch Xafe was a good experience, and I look forward to eating there again soon.

My family and I have always been loyal customers, we always tip generously, and we have never given this establishment a reason to treat us with anything but respect. Today, that streak ended. We came in with a party of 9. Our usual, normal spot was completely open and ready, but the host looked visibly bothered that we wanted to sit there. Instead of seating us, they made all 9 of us stand right next to literally 10 wide-open seats for over 5 minutes. To make matters worse, the staff kept giving us looks that made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. In over a decade, we have never been made to feel like a burden here until today. It wasn't cool, and it completely ruined what is usually a great family tradition. It hurts to say this after 10 years of loyalty, but if you have a big party, don't go here. They clearly cannot handle it, or simply do not want the business.

I paid $17.54 for a biscuit with egg, cheese, turkey sausage, and a black iced coffee. The biscuit was decent, but fairly small, and nothing about the sandwich felt premium enough to justify the price. The turkey sausage tasted like a standard pre-made sausage, and if there was a significant upcharge for choosing turkey, it didn't feel warranted. The coffee was fine. It was a basic black iced coffee, good enough, but not something that stood out or justified a premium price. My biggest issue is the value. Nearly $18 for a simple breakfast sandwich and a plain black iced coffee feels excessive for what was served. I've also noticed that the total seems to vary from visit to visit, making it difficult to know what to expect when ordering. I genuinely like the people who work here and wish them success. This review isn't about the staff. For me, it's simply a matter of price versus value, and I can no longer justify spending this much for a basic breakfast and coffee. Biscuit: 7/10 Coffee: 7/10 Overall value: 3/10
