Their glasses selection is small and appears to be all Luxotica brands (which are slowly monopolizing the frame industry) but that's what the majority of people want; name brands. There's better options for quality frames in my opinion. Like I said, wonderful Dr, great technicians who can actually hold a conversation and a team of frame stylists very willing to help you find the perfect frame. I returned to KEC with those new glasses. They were checked and validated to be accurate based on the script they wrote. I then confronted the optometrist with my previous script from a reputable well known massachusetts ophthalmologist who I had been seeing since I was kid. She changed my script a bit to match my old one and sent me on my way. My wife. Went in this year and she had been using their script from a year ago. Her script was never correct and made her dizzy. The KEC optometrist said it didn't change and also sent her on her way. She was irritated and went to another eye care shop and had an exam but did not give them her script or glasses from KEC. After the initial exam she then gave them the KEC script and the glasses. The new optometrist set the eye exam machine to their new script and the one from KEC. The new optometrist told my wife the script from KEC was way off. Houston, we have a problem. No way will we go back there again. Btw any optometrist that dialates your eyes before the exam? Ask why because KEC does just that.

She explained everything she was going to do and talk to me the whole time and made me feel so comfortable I wanted to hand out with her the whole day lol! She was very knowledgeable and she even took time to show me how to floss properly. She told me about my gummy smile and that I had treatment options that I didn't know existed. My son came out of his appointment for the final portion and said I don't think the guy knew what he was doing at all. Prior to the last procedure both my wife and myself spoke with the office to ensure that we would not need any adjustment to his retainer after the procedure, while we waited for the next steps. Both people we spoke with assured us he would be fine. We were NOT fine. His retainer DID NOT fit and we were basically told "too bad". My son is a teenager and they essentially told us he was fine to be missing two front teeth for over a month. He spent his entire school vacation in his room until we were able to contact his orthodontist to fix his retainer. If they had told us the truth from the onset we would have had the retainer fixed that same day. After all that, we decided NOT to use the office they recommended for his teeth, and we were shocked (well not really) that the East Bay put in healing caps that were too small AND one of the implants was crooked! Thankfully the office we used took care of both issues. But when they called East Bay they were also shocked at how rude the lady on the phone was. Stay AWAY from this place!!! Not recommended at all.
