I brought my family here after a recommendation from a friend…read more There is plenty of free parking. They open at 11 a.m., and we were first in line. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and within five minutes it was completely full. My dad ordered the specialty beef bone rice noodle soup. A second bowl came out just for the bone--holy moly! His only complaint was the noodles; he didn't care for the wide noodles. My sister got the bún bò Huế. The broth was excellent and approved by my parents, and it came with a generous amount of meat. My mom ordered bún cá and really enjoyed her meal. Each soup-based dish came with a plate of fresh vegetables. I ordered the grilled specialty platter. It was a lot of food, but everything was delicious. I also tried the salted iced coffee, which was just okay. They accept cash or debit only. Service was quick and efficient, and we were served tea as soon as we were seated. I highly recommend An Ngon Vietnamese Cuisine.

The restaurant was spacious and could seat a lot of people, but from other reviewers on Yelp, this place can get very busy. We were seated immediately and service was prompt. We ordered the following: 2 X Grilled Pork and Spring Roll with Vermicelli 1 X Grilled Chicken with Spring Roll Vermicelli Both the grilled port and grilled chicken were tender, and very flavourful. The spring rolls were crispy, large, but lacked a bit of taste compared with other restaurants. Overall, both dishes were good as well as the service. I would return to try Pho next time.

If only this space was bigger. The staff is friendly,…read moreefficient and knowledgeable. The menu is well laid out, and the pricing is VERY reasonable. I am going to start with the most benign, probably had hundreds in my life you tiao (dough sticks). I have had these in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and all over GTA ..you get the idea. The ones here were among the best if not the best I've ever had. They are delivered to your table seconds from being in the fryer and are crisp, not oily and so light. Yes smaller than the standard, but just so good. 2.99 an order, order 2! They even have gluten cumin spiced skewers, and I have to tell you, they were delicious. But after 5 minutes, the cooler version were just not as good so eat when hot if u can. Everything we had was just delicious and made to order, piping hot.

So I've tried their Downtown and Markham location before and decided to come try this location…read moresince we were around the area. The space here is definitely smaller but seating was still very comfortable. Ordering is done via QR code through phone. The staff was friendly and service was quick and prompt. I do want to say that their pricing is very fair and reasonable. There is also free parking in front of the restaurant. I was missing my time in Taiwan so I ordered the Taiwanese Braised Pork and Egg on rice. We also ordered Pumpkin Pie with Red Bean Filling, stir-fried rice noodles with bean sprouts, Juicy Chinese Pork Burger, and their Juicy Cheese Beef Burger. Everything was quite good especially the Chinese Pork Burger. The outer shell was so crispy and the pork meat was so juicy and was seasoned just right. The Taiwanese Braised Pork rice was good but definitely not as good as in Taiwan lol. Also, if coming here, you have to try their signature pan fried buns. That is what they are known for. We didn't order it this time because we've had it a bunch of times already. Overall, this restaurant always hits. It's not the most amazing food but like the name suggest, It is very home style comfort food.

We came for bbq so it was news to me they had hot pot as an option as well. Anyway, we opted for the black menu as there was a great variety on it already. Our favourites were the scallops, short ribs, and torched salmon sushi. For dessert we just tried the soft serve ice cream. The service and quality was top notch at its price point. Would visit again!

I'm not sure how much my friend putting us on wait list before arriving helped but we waited about 30 mins before it was our turn. There were 5 of us (4 adults and one toddler) and we were in a booth for four adults. The booths are pretty small considering all the things you can order. Luckily our booth was against a wall with space to put the dishes that didn't fit on the table. Dinner service was very busy as it was difficult to flag down a server to order. Once we ordered, the meats came out very fast. I think the cuts offered at Shinta are high quality for an AYCE restaurant. Currently Shinta offers an order of free A5 wagyu with your dinner. Everyone really enjoyed the Wagyu, even my toddler! The sushi that they offer was also good. I opted to eat less sushi to fill up on the meat. For dessert, the majority of us got the mango pomelo sago. It was refreshing! Overall, I really enjoyed Shinta and will be having my birthday dinner here next month! They also offer a free 6" cake if you reserve at least three days in advance.

Who doesn't love finding somewhat hidden gem of a place?…read more This location is unassumedly in a strip mall with a music store and pet care business and was such a delight to enjoy. The menu is pretty straight forward but so many options with Taiwanese and Chinese street food type options and fresh noodle and rice dishes. We tried the cuttlefish ball and sweet and sour cucumber salad eppetizers, the original noodle dish with sauce on the side, non vegetarian street noodle choice and the braised pork on rice dish that comes with optional seaweed soup on the side. Everything was tasty, but the seaweed soup was the least favourite for our table. Cuttlefish balls were crispy on the outside, juicy and bouncy on the inside with a sliight sweetness. The Cucumber salad used black vinegar as the base and were not too strong or punchy but provided a nice crisp relief with the other dishes. The egg noodles were just great. Firm and chewy and did I mentioned never ending?? If you need more noodles to gobble up whatever sauce or broth you order just ask! And a bowl will quickly appear at your table, included in your price. The flatter egg noodle was very light and the rounder egg pasta more chewy, both were delicious and held on to the sauces perfectly. The braised tea/soya egg were hard boiled and flavourful and this rice dish was very kid friendly too, a great way to introduce kiddos to the menu. Service was quick and friendly and well worth a detour to visit.

First review of 2026! New Year's Day lunch!…read more The resto is really small, so I'm glad we came at a time when many tables were available. It filled up quickly after us. The ordering system is kind of confusing. You need to scan the QR code on your table, which right away, I hate when establishments do this. Once you scan the QR code, you order online. You don't pay but you need to put your order through here. They don't come to your table. It was confusing because my friend and I were only ordering for ourselves on our own phones, which made sense to us. However, because I put my order through first, it only accepted mine. We were waiting like 10 mins after my order came for my friend's order. Turns out hers didn't even go through! You need to order for the whole table on one phone. Anyways, she got her order 5 mins after adding onto my order. We both ordered Mild spice, mild numbing with egg noodles. This was just the right amount of spice for me. They actually give you a lot of noodles. I couldn't even finish it. They're super bouncy and have a great chewy texture. The beef brisket was tender and there was a lot of it. If you don't like fat or can't handle some fat, don't get this. But I like fat and this was delicious and flavourful. Taste like a classic Chinese beef brisket. I appreciated the cilantro. It gave it a different depth of flavour with each bite. The broth was perfect, especially on a cold winters day. Not sure I would return but it was an ok meal and a decent amount.

The staff is on it -- the moment our plates or cups were empty, they were cleared right away. I also love how well-staffed they are; everything runs so smoothly. The quality of the food was next level. We even tried the plain meat without any seasoning, and it was still packed with flavor. That says a lot! And the restaurant itself? Absolutely beautiful. If you want to cook your own foods via grill, yakiniku, don't mind the crowds, max seating of four per booth, enter the door on your left for Takumi BBQ. If you prefer ramen, no smoke or cooking, open concept, enter the door to the right and around the corner for Takumi Ramen. Both restaurants offer different menu selections. Not allowed to ask for menu items next door because my cousins tried asking in the past and kindly inquired again out of curiosity. We're happy that we choose Takumi Ramen! We're surprised to be the only party of eight dining in for two hours till COB. There's ample seating to join middle tables together. We're able to immerse ourselves in conversations. I ordered the Mini Sukiyaki Combo. I loved their Mini Sukiyaki where you allow all the ingredients to cook for a few minutes, crack egg into the pot, able to control your own temperature settings on your own butane with propane grill. Salad and gyoza were tasty. Majority of my relatives ordered various ramen and/or apps. There was only one employee working, who was attentive, brought beverage and napkin refills, checked to see how we're doing and if there's anything else we needed. Smaller menu selection. Wouldn't mind returning for the quality.
