I'm a first time customer and I think I found my Forever dog groomer!!! Not only was the owner so extremely friendly and helpful she was very easy to talk to when I told her what I wanted for my dog as for as service was concerned. It only took a hour and half for her to be done which I was very happy with. Her pricey was very reasonable and accommodating. I'll be definitely be getting my dog done here from here on out. read more

Owner was super helpful in getting our dog's dreads removed on his belly. She was great

Getting there: Located right off of County Line Rd in Calimesa. If coming from the 10 fwy, you'll turn onto the street and if you go to fast you might pass it up. The parking lot is really small but they are hardly ever crowded. Experience: We've had our share of dog groomers in this area and the reason why we really like this one is because they do a decent job, they're not overly priced, and the staff is very gentle with our boy. They pay attention to detail and don't do the opposite of what we ask (ie: cut our dog's hair too short to where he's bald when we say we want .5 in's taken off). We have had once instance where there was an accidental abrasion, but it was a one time instance, they called us to let us know what happened, our pup wasn't harmed or in pain, they gave us ointment just in case, and they comp'd us our grooming session. Because we've been treated so well here is why we continue to support them. read more

I will only go here! I have a problematic chihuahua and they treat her so well and they always know how to handle difficult dogs. You can tell they really care about the animals. If you are ever in a hurry to get it call them and they will try there hardest to squeeze you in even if they are busy! And they give cute little bandannas for the dogs. read more

I don't know why anybody would go anywhere else. This is the first time I picked up my dog from a groomer and he was fully dry and he wasnt shedding. He also smelled so good and his fur was super soft! His nails were perfectly trimmed. Alma was super nice and very informative. She offered some great recommendations. They were all very kind to my pup. This is my groomer in Calimesa/Yucaipa. read more

Consistently gentle, caring, expert, professional and thorough - this is why I have been bringing my dogs to Critter Corral for a good two years now. There are larger salons that are more widely advertised, and I've tried several of those over the years. What I care about the most is that my dogs are safe and come home happy and professionally groomed. read more

It was my first time with my dog Lola using Critter Corral and I was very impressed. It's obvious my baby was treated well and when she was done she got a treat and had an adorable little bandana around her neck. We all know how important our pets are to us, and I have no doubt that Critter Corral is my new go-to dog groomer. read more

I love this place and will continue to take my pets here. They are super sweet and very gentle with my animals. I just love them so much

I had a detailed chat with the front office as to how I wanted my Papillion cut. I wish I could post a before & after photo. If you google a Papillion you'll see how they have such beautiful, flowing hair. I told her to cut about half the length of his tail hair and the rear feathering . What a shock I had when I got there! My 2nd dog was done & waiting in the cage but the Papillion was still in the back. I paid her in full while I waited. When he came out his whole body was completely shaven down! He no longer has the full ears, tail or legs. I gasped & asked how this could happed & reminded her of my instructions. Her response was "he won't need to be groomed again for a long time". No apology, no explanation, no offer to refund the $45 I paid. She had my daughter's poodle mix & did a so-so job. Wasn't bad, just not what was expected. We won't be going back. If your fur-baby has nice hair you may think twice before taking him/her to this place. read more

Christina did a wonderful job with Roxy. Called last night and left a message and they got her in this afternoon! Great customer service, clean, and our baby looked great when I picked her up! Will be our new groomers for sure!! read more

This was our first time going to this place. My dogs left looking great, smelling clean and they were happy. This is unusual because they hate getting haircuts. One of our dogs is blind, so the lady made sure to give him extra attention and comfort during his bath and nail trimming. They were very reasonable with pricing. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Critter Corral - Pet Groomers Near Me - Calimesa, California

I moved to Yucaipa about 6 months ago and was looking for a place to take my pups to get groomed. I was NOT happy with the first place that I took them to. A friend recommended Critter Corral and I am SO glad she did. My dogs came back looking like a king and a queen and they smelled wonderful! Will definitely be taking them there to get groomed from now on. read more

Tried this place for the first time 2 weeks ago and when I picked my dog up I noticed his eye was funny, I didn't say nothing, I just assumed it was maybe from him crying. As the day went on I noticed he couldn't open it at all. I called to ask if they had hit his eye but of course they said "no". I had to take him to East Valley pet hospital that same day because it was not getting better. Once at the vet the Dr. stained his eye and we saw his eyeball was badly scratched. Thanks to the Dr and the medicines he's fine now but sadly we wont be going back, not only did his eye get injured but thanks to that incident we ended up paying a lot of money to get him feeling good again. read more

We took our dogs here for the first time today and I'm SO HAPPY we did. We've gone to multiple groomers in the Redlands/Yucaipa area and this is hands down our favorite. As soon as we were greeted when we walked in we knew they would be well taken care of. Not only were they very sweet and accommodating, their pricing is the best we've come across so far. Thank you again read more

Great local business!!! They were able to squeeze time in for our pugs to get groomed. Not only were super friendly, but did a wonderful job. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. We won't take our pugs to any other groomer from now on!!! Thank you again for such great service!!! read more

We had our King for nearly 15 years and for the last 6-7 years he was groomed at Critter Corral. Friendly staff.. very caring and friendly and they do a great grooming job at a fair price. Highly recommended! read more

NOT HAPPY AT ALL. very poor job. toenails left so long they seemed not trimmed at all. tried to request shorter trim but was told condescending by the owner that they were as short as possible due to owner neglect. my dog gets usual twice monthly trims nice and short. took my dog elsewhere and they did not believe the nails were trimmed at all. they said i was scammed. lesson learned. had to pay to get the dog bathed to wash off the unpleasant cloying perfume Critter Corral liberally applied for just a toenail trim. the owner was alone there and did the trim. long nails and the awful perfume are hardly accidents. sorry, but i will not try them again. I REALLY wish i had read this review before i tried this place. read more
