My family has a wide range of different breeds from mix poodle, chihuahuas to purebred English bulldogs. P.S. The staff at clippendales is very diverse, there is no racism that goes on here. I took my boy here for the first time a few weeks back and they were kind of expensive in comparison to other places I've taken him to and they did a great job on him as well but why im really leaving the review is below.. The girls there were sweet but when I picked up my labradoodle and was down the street my wife turned to look at him and he was shaking and his nail was bleeding profusely. So we called and drove back for them to fix it as best as possible but omg there was sooo much blood and it made a complete MESS all over the back seat of my car that doubles as my office for work. They knew they went too low on the nails why didnt they give me a heads up, instead I got his blood all over my car it was a complete disaster. They also didn't round out his nails after clipping them and that resulted in HUGE gashes down the side of his neck from him scratching regularly but his neck was literally tore up. My poor guy man. Just double check your babies before you leave this place. I understand things happen but the right thing to do is to remember a booboo was made and to bring it to the owners attention prior to them leaving the business. Awesome work cutting my boy and making him look handsome but these are the reason I won't return. I even tipped the chick 20 bucks. Please just do the right thing Clippendales. You have an amazing business but will lose clients such as myself for not being mindful of rookie mistakes such as what my baby went through his first time at your business. read more

I have been taking my husky here regularly for the past few years now and they have always done a fantastic job. I don't know how they do it, but her coat always looks great after the bathing & deshedding treatments there. The ladies who work there are friendly, polite, and professional. The salon itself is clean and smells fresh every time i have been there. I drive here all the way from Menifee because it's so worth it, and I plan on continuing to bring my pets here for years to come. Their prices are affordable and they offer a wide variety of grooming services. My husky hates baths, but they provide a comfortable and calm environment that puts your pets at ease. (In my wife's words she was very rude) When she got home, I noticed a bright red spot on his back. I took him to the vet and they said that he had been burned. Now he has a bald spot on his back! They did a good job on my dog, but terribly failed at providing friendly customer service. The women in the back had especially bad attitudes, why would you ever think it's ok to stare down a customer amidst a transaction? No exchange of words whatsoever, just a disgusting glare. Apparently that's how this business operates- the environment was uncomfortable to be around. None of them were wearing masks while working on the dogs. I've visited a lot of the dog shops in hemet/San Jacinto and would highly recommend any other service EXCEPT here. Do NOT take your dog here, you will regret it. I took my dog here a month ago. First off the appt I scheduled 1 week prior was at 2pm. They called at 9am day of appt wanting me to rearaign my schedule to bring him in at 10 which was not possible for me. I have a special needs elderly dog. He's 15, blind, 1/2 deaf with health and heart issues that can not with stand long grooming sessions due to separation anxiety in a new & strange place. I was told it would take 2 hours (which is his max time limit on withstanding grooming) and it took over 3 hours. I was a first time customer and they treated me like crap. They did not groom him as requested. And they did not handle him properly in front of me for his blindness. They let him go long on the leash and didn't pay attention and he got tangled up in some table legs. I can only imagine what happened while I wasn't there. Being a new customer you would think they would take extra care to retain my business, yet they failed all around on every level AND charged me an extra $10 from what I was quoted on the phone and at drop off time. They did such a crappy job on the groom as well. My dog normally gets groomed every 4-6 wks, yet he had to be groomed again in 2 weeks as they barely shaved the hair down on his back. Of 15+ years of grooming, Clippendales was by far the worst place I've been to (and I've lived in 2 states and 4 city's since I've had him) read more

Would take my dog to get groomed and was always satisfied by the impeccable job! By far the best grooming style I have ever seen. Adopted a new female pet and also had her groomed. The groomer assigned to her tells me she is a little uncomfortable, but does okay. The once excellent customer service begins to shift. Granted their prices increase in January, but now they add an extra fee for using your debit card. Alright, so, took our girl to her fourth grooming session. Everything is alright so it seemed until the groomer charges me an additional $10 fee claiming my dog caused liability? She said she previously mentioned that my pet didn't like getting groomed in the past. Um, if this is valid, why did she fail to mention my dog was once nervous but overall did okay? Why did she not refuse service in the past? I understood my dogs were being denied future services. I tolerated the poor customer service behavior as I appreciated the extra efforts the groomer made to giving my dog an amazing hair cut. Strongly caution customers of slight irritation to the genitalia regions, snooty behavior, extra merchant credit charges, increase in service charge, and complaints of your pets being said uncomfortable. read more

A few minutes after walking in the door I was greeted by a really friendly girl. I was a first time customer they walked me thru the process. Very friendly with our dog, which that is a plus to me. One thing I did not like I dropped my dog off at 12:40 my appt was at 1. They told me about 3 to 4 hours. I got to the shop around 4:57 they were working on my dog. She got full groom, the hair cut was obviously done by amateur because it was not perfect. For a small breed I paid 45$ plus tip. My sister took her dog there and was treated rudely from the moment she walked in. The owner took her dog and after my sister explained her last experience at a different groomer, the owner responded with "Well when you bring her in THIS condition!" and proceeded to repeat herself. My sister saw she was getting physically upset and when she asked her "Are you getting upset?" The lady responded "I must just be having a bad day" My sister took her dog in fear of her dog being mistreated if left there. You don't treat your customers like that.
