Until this pandemic, I took our dogs and rabbits to the vet for their nail trims. Our vet has limited hours now, just like any other business. So I asked on NextDoor if anyone had suggestions for a good groomer that could also handle rabbits. Rabbits are not like dogs or cats, they can snap their spine if they move wrong and have actually died from fright. Getting them in their carriers for the car trip was a nightmare! So when the suggestion turned out to be a MOBILE groomer, I thought it was the best thing I had ever heard! So I called Magical Pretty Pets and asked for them to come out in May. They were fast, gentle with our pets and our rabbits didn't even struggle. They didn't end up hiding for half the day. It was amazing. I didn't have to listen to the male Chihuahua whine all the way to the vet's office. It was EPIC. Using this groomer changed our pet's nail trim experience from terrifying to just a little irritating (they are never going to like getting their nails trimmed - lol). So when June came you bet I called them again. Less than 20 minutes later we had four well trimmed pets and are good for another month. Plus they came to our door!! Who will I call in July? I've been looking for a mobile groomer for a while and took a chance calling Magical Pretty Pets. There were a couple of negative reviews but I like to give everyone a fair chance and I'm so glad that I did!! I was told someone would be at my home between 12-2 and Alfred showed up right at 1 and was done cleaning my little Teddy up in under 45 minutes!! He did a wonderful job and I will definitely look no further!! The fact that they come to your house saves so much time, no running back and forth to the groomers and waiting for your pet to be ready. I have been working with this crew for many years. I have a 12 year old 90lb Boxer-Pitty named Lottery Dawg that looks forward to the wagon showing up at the door. He loves to get his furs washed, nails clipped and his ears cleaned. He wags his tail when they set him free. I have a little girl also...she is an 80lb. blonde shepard mix, named Jackpot. She sheds more than any animal I have ever seen, but these guys make her look awesome. Very reasonable, my fur babies like all of the employees and I have been extremely happy with every visit over the many years we have been together. Highly recommended! read more

I had an appointment today at 1pm, she texted me stating she would be running late and come around 3pm. I let her know that would be fine, however she never showed up! I called her multiple times after 0330pm and left her several texts and got no reply. Its a shame because I used this grooming service a lot and haven't had problems til now. At least have the common courtesy to let me know you are not coming or no longer want to service me so I am not waiting for hours. Very unprofessional. This groomer was called because the groomer I had for years just moved out of state. I did not remember having used them ever before. When they arrived she calls to inform me that she recognized my house and they have Notes on us saying we don't pay and that my dogs are aggressive. This is an insult and a lie. The person that called me said she was the dog bather when they came before. I remembered an incident and realized this must be the same people. When they came to my house years ago I decided not to use them again. Because my husband told me they were kind of rough with one of our dogs, Willie. He was yelping and I went to go see what was up. My dog had one of those neck things on his neck so they can't lay down. It was on tight and digging in. He could only stand or choke. I was mad and I let them know I didn't like that. She was impatient and irritated with him because when he is scared he wants to hunker down. The lady told me it was normal to use these things, and he was yelping because of the hair dryer. I decided to leave it at that. I brought him in before they were done drying him and paid them and we decided not to use them again. None of my dogs are aggressive with an experienced professional groomer. These "Notes " were to cover themselves in case I decided to sue them. They also threatened to sue me if I posted this.
