Apparently, a few bats decided my house looked like a great place to settle down -- **without asking permission, signing a lease, or paying a dime in rent!** John and Jordan came out and took care of the necessary repairs, sealing potential entry points and installing an exit barrier so my little night-flying squatters could leave safely and humanely -- **but there would be no re-entry privileges!** They were professional, courteous, and very respectful of my property. They explained the entire process clearly, so there were no surprises... except for watching one very determined bat try to get back inside and discover that **his key no longer worked!** Sorry, buddy -- you've been evicted! About a week later, Miguel came out to check the attic and make sure there weren't any stragglers hiding out and refusing to leave. Thankfully, the eviction was successful and **everyone had officially vacated the premises!** He removed the exit barrier and sealed up the new soffit vent so there would be no surprise reunions. From start to finish, Critter One did an excellent job. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and respectful of my home. They were able to organize the inspection easily, even though I was arranging it from Houston between them and my realtor. Their flexibility was great appreciated, and their service was at a fair price. Once I moved into the house, I hired them as my regular pest control. They did a quality job, and I never had to call them between scheduled services for any "touch ups." About a week ago, I heard a scratching in my wall that sounded like an animal clawing for its life. A "Critter Ridder" type service quoted me about $90 just to inspect, and about $300 - $1000+ additional if there were a problem, depending on what kind and how many animals I had in the wall and/or my attic. By their own admission, it would be significantly cheaper if I were to just let the animal die and pay them to get it out then. Ick! So I called Stout. They came out for a FREE inspection. It turned out I had 1 or maybe 2 rats in my attic. They set traps and scheduled two follow-ups to check and eventually remove the traps. My total cost for the trapping was less than $200. They ended up catching one rat, and I haven't heard any noise since. My servicemen have always been professionally dressed, very polite, and very helpful. We've even had some quality conversations while they have been servicing the house! The office staff is also very helpful in setting (and even rescheduling) appointments. Overall, Stout is a very personable and helpful company that provides quality service at a reasonable price. Make them your pest control service and you will never regret it!

This is amazing since most all pest control companies kill any wildlife they capture usually touting "humane control." Did you know that they can drown the animal and it is considered "humane control"? Stout Pest Control has taken in the animal captured which are usually injured and the reason why they were able to be trapped in the first place. They brought a mother O'possum into the rehab which had injuries that were treated. And she adopted another baby they had to go with her own! So this is the company I would use if I had any critter problems because of their caring practices.

Our technician "Tyler" was great as he explained everything he was doing and was thorough with his explanations which helped myself in understanding what he was doing and spraying. He sprayed on the grass (fully - front and backyard), Powdered the Eves and Windows of the house, Powdered the Loop Holes around the house, Sprayed in our Garage, Sprayed inside the house on all of the baseboards, under the sinks (bathroom's and kitchen), Sprayed baseboards inside of the whole house (bedrooms, living room, kitchen, office, etc...). This company is very thorough with their sprays and even put some glue traps in the garage to keep critters away from coming into the house through the garage door or main door to the house. We highly recommend them and will be sticking with them for a long time!
