Terrible customer service, we ordered food through door dash (not delivery, store pick up) ordered one thing got to store to pick up and was given totally different order (even though my receipt attached to order was correct based on what I ordered) Spoke with employee/manager (Hannah) she walked away as we were still talking, clearly did not want to be bothered with the situation and flat out refused to either correct the order or refund, when asked to speak to her supervisor she also refused that as well. Stated "it is a problem with door dash system you have to call them it is not our problem" that tells me that it is a known issue and Crisp is continuing to take orders through their database without fixing the problem and leaves their customers high and dry when it occurs. My family and I have completed our tour of the specialty pizza menu and they are ALL hits! My husband is for sure partial to the buffalo Mac and cheese pizza and I am digging the Crispen. They also offer a cauliflower crust, which aids in some guilt-free pizza splurging. Of course, we too that off with cupcakes from Montilios because what is life without cupcakes? We Had it from the Walpole location and it was horrible. 1st after placing my phone order they asked me if I wanted to tip now or later. WHAT?? If I was dining there or having it delivered then yes of course but for placing an order for takeout NOPE!!! Should not have to feel like that, it's wrong plain and simple. Had the hamburger and onion pizza, and my mom had the onion pizza. 1st the hamburger was greasy and the onion on both pizzas was not sliced well, it was like someone took a meat cleaver and hacked up the onions, no love and no care was put into the pizza at all. The grease from the hamburger made the pizza soggy, was not cooked enough, and neither was my Mom's. Bad bad bad. I'm sticking to town spa boss bah and cape cod pizza. Thought it was going to be a good night with live music. I was wrong. Got to our table - ordered food - app and food came together. No big deal. But part of our order was missing... nobody came to check on us.. 45 mins sitting and waiting - Empty drinks and nobody was really interacting with tables.. and when they did they would walk right past ours. We stacked our plates and empty cups. Still nobody comes over. So I walked inside to ask for a manager. There is NO manager - instead they have a very young woman walk up to the counter. She barely looked 20. I tell her about what happened... AND not only were we completely ignored but the bartenders were taking shots with all the customers and flirting with customers while we just sat there.. So instead of serving customers and making money they would rather shoot shots for free with their guests. All the 'supervisor' said was, "I will talk to them". After reading a lot of reviews on Crisp, with the majority of them saying Crisp is on par with Town Spa/Lynwoods for Bar Pizza, I was excited to try it. It was an anti-climatic experience for me. Customer Service: Everyone was polite and efficient with the order. They said a 20 minute but everything was done within 13 minutes. They also offer pastries as well, which looked delicious. Food itself: "We got Crispen(one of the popular pizzas), Cheese and Bone-in Teriyaki wings." The food was good/decent. That is the best I can describe it. For example I would eat it if my friends wanted too, but I wouldn't go out of my way (like I did tonight) to order it myself. The cheese pizza was a tad bit salty and lacked taste. The Crispen pizza was good, the only complaint was that the spinach was on the cold side. The bone-in wings were crispy, flavorful, and thick. I hope this helps! I went here hoping for a great bar style pizza and was very disappointed. 3 of us went and ordered 4 pizzas. $15 is expensive for a bar style pizza to begin with, especially when it wasn't good. Out of 4 pizzas, 2 we threw away, one was okay and the other was good. They were all cooked to different levels. The 2 that were awful were overcooked and dry. The old bartenders were the best and the place was a great bar to go to and the drinks were great. Now it's run by children behind the bar and all of them give their customers an attitude. I miss the old feel of the bar and also bartenders older than the age of 22. There was one bartender who was so rude and kicked my friends and I out for complaining about the lemonade and I think she took it so personal to heart she screamed at us and kicked us out. Good quality bar pie, we got the seafood and everything no anchovies. We live about 25 mins away. I'm sure that theses pies would be really good if they stayed crispy. We LOVE Crisp. We tried it for the first time a couple months ago and have already had it 3+ times since. The first time I got the seafood pizza and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Beautifully cooked and generous portions of shrimp, lobster, and scallops on top of a garlicky white pizza. It was so decadent. I'm in love with the way the cheese goes all the way to the edge of the crust (very crispy!) and the bar style size of personal pizza is the perfect amount. We've gotten delivery a couple of times and pizza has always arrived in a timely manner and hot. Perfect for social distancing gatherings during covid because everyone gets their own pizza! The mozzarella moons are a must-have menu item. They are so so delicious and don't taste like your typical mozzarella stick. The breading is nice and crispy and stays on the portion. Overall so good! I attended a 60 person surprise birthday party here, and It was amazing. I thought crisp was more of a pizza/sub shop and boy was I wrong! There are loads of delicious appetizers, cocktails, and beer/wine. My favorite appetizer were the beef skewers. My favorite entree was the Margherita pizza-it is thin crust and delicious. I would have never thought this spot to be a party destination but boy did they blow it out of the park. The area was always being bussed, food came out hot and in waves, and the servers/bar staff went above and beyond. There was a cool fire pit and the restaurant had live music too. Normally we couldn't wait to go to our then favorite spot in Randolph. This place serves excellent pizza! We have been ordering here once a week since we got here and love the consistency of this place. I just had a pineapple and bacon pizza. Crunchy crust and delicious flavor. However, I think a bit more transparency and quality control would go a very long way in their success. I ordered 3 things to try child sized mac and cheese it was literally Kraft from the box ( my expectation was a smaller size of the adult version with 4 different pasta choices) Stuffed Quahog I never got it, just an extra bowl of Kraft mac and cheese Pizza was delicious! I think they should focus more on that as I agree with the other reviewers that the potential is there for Crisp. One last thing, they quoted 30 minutes for delivery (so great that they do delivery ++) yet it took 1 hour and 50 minutes. I've been to Crisp Walpole 10-12 times and I've ordered takeout 4-6 times. The good: -When the pizza is good, it can compete with other SSBP. -Outside bar staff, especially the older bar staff, Lisa in particular, is very good: professional but friendly, attentive but not pushy or intrusive. -The outside bar is just fantastic overall. The less good: -Inside staff is mostly younger people who aren't cordial and who are at times borderline rude. I worked service jobs as a kid myself and I'm sure that I came across as rude to my elders, but the inside staff makes me not want to go inside and deal with their moodiness. -Pizza is good when it's good, but it's inconsistent. Sometimes the dough is too soft and, if you have any toppings, they fall off when you try to pick up a slice. if you get more than one topping, the crust tends to fail quickly. -Non-pizza items that I've had (steak tips and salads) are underwhelming. If you're going to offer steak tips in Walpole, you're going to be competing with Conrad's; gotta step up your game. In spite of my issues, I'll go back again. Pizza is good enough and I have faith that they'll dial in their perfect recipe. Bar space is great and a good vibe. Food is generally tasty; if you get the right order or get it on time... We've tried the takeout from the Walpole location a few times since it opened hoping the service would improve. We have enjoyed the food, even if it is pricey for what you get. Most recently we received a half-correct order, after waiting 15 min longer than was estimated. We only ordered here since Rico's down the road wasn't open. To Crisp's credit, they did their best to make it right by re-making the incorrect food. Normally I would write this off as everyone makes mistakes but this is hardly the first time. When we first ordered here when they opened, we waited their estimated 1.5 hours. I arrived, they said it would be out soon and paid the first emplyee. I waited an additional hour. Went up to ask for a refund and a different person at the register found our order. I was told that my order had been ready the whole time but the first person at the register couldn't find it. I have also received steak and cheese w/o cheese, pizza w/o sauce etc. We're done giving this place chances which is, honestly, disappointing. read more

I've tried many of the area places and think I'm a good judge what measures up to the best places and what doesn't and this does. This place habitually rips off regular customers. Since they opened a couple years ago they have twice taken an order of mine and never delivered the pizza (couple years ago) to the tune of probably almost 100 bucks. Both times they just lie on the phone that it's "on the way" until you get hungry and frustrated enough to microwave yourself a hot dog and let it go. The newest criminal scam is the outdoor bar. Second time in the last 8 days that me or someone in my family paid for a strangers drinks. They just tell you that someone is going to come out and reconcile it (because the bartenders are about 17 or so) and just wait you out until you leave. It's brilliant. I blame myself at this point. If even a half decent pizza place with a half- responsible ownership group ever opens in Walpole, this place is done. They only exist in the pizza vacuum of Walpole coupled with 15% of their income coming from goods and services that are never rendered. I have been missing out! I'm one town over, but only 10 minutes from the Walpole location. Delicious pizza, bar style, with the best sauce I have had outside of Boston. We got a cheese pizza, a taco pizza, a stuffy (which I don't recommend as it was 99 breading) and buffalo tenders. So the food was delicious, but the service really makes this place. The wraps were quite good and the fillings were generous. So why only 3 stars? Well the transaction/service had too many flaws. The young lady at the register asked if we wanted mustard on the pastrami wrap. She even made a specific request of "yellow or brown " mustard, so you know the kitchen got the correct order. Even still, the wrap came out with no mustard. That just shows a sloppy and lackadaisical attention to detail. BTW, we were the only two customers in the store. We ordered the wraps with one to include fries and the other with a side salad. Both were delivered with fries. The other issue I share some blame in. This business advertises a 20% senior discount. I forgot to ask for it. My bad. However, my wife and I are both 72 years old. There's no way we don't pass as seniors. It would be especially good customer service if the staff would proactively make sure customers obviously eligible for a discount received that discount. That's good customer service. Went to Crip for the first time, I have to say I was a little disheartened. Ordered the 3 Sausage Pizza and the sausage had great flavor but my pizza lacked sauce. The pizza was also a little Doughy for being a bar pizza. Wings had great flavor but the chicken was dry and lacked seasoning.
