We came here hoping to get some answers, and everyone we spoke to was so knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile in looking up stuff and explaining what they found. Our sales guy DJ was especially helpful and spent a ton of time with us. In the end, we learned that it was cheaper to just start fresh and probably go with a prebuilt, but not once did we feel pressured to buy anything. Once we save up a bit, we'll be back to get a prebuilt, and this is now our go-to store for any computer needs.

After 20 minutes I called Christopher who came right out from the back and had my laptop registered on ready for repairs. I mentioned to him a lady that was already waiting for over an hour. Then the enclosure they built wasn't what I was wanting. They ended up cuttin plastic panels to make it work and it was too small and wasn't built how I wanted it. The wiring under the seat to amp was a mess. I took it back to them to rewire the amp and all he did was put it in a loom and turned the amp around. When I found out that I couldn't open up the false floor to get to my spare tire I could only lift it up about an inch. So I took it back to them and they used some B.S. excuse that there wasn't enough room and they can tweak the existing box so I could open the false floor up but the installer wasn't there that day. I am not happy with their work. I ended up rebuilding the enclosure myself. So dont trust them to do any kind of custom work for you. I will never go back to them again.

AUTO THUNDER SOUND -- BUYER BEWARE…read more I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before doing business with this company. I originally used Auto Thunder about a year ago to install my sound system. I already owned the amp and the box with a 10-inch subwoofer. Recently, I returned because a fuse had gone out. I was told it would only cost $20 to install the replacement fuse. After I paid, I was told by the owner , Shazad, that I supposedly needed a new amplifier because my existing one wasn't working. I trusted what I was being told and agreed to additional work, including tweeters, and paid several hundred dollars. After getting home, I inspected the amplifier myself and noticed something very specific: I had placed a distinctive aftermarket sticker on my original amp years ago. The supposedly "new" amplifier had the exact same sticker. I then took the system to Best Buy for another opinion. I was told that the tweeters appeared to be the original manufacturer-installed equipment, not newly installed tweeters as I had paid for. At that point, I contacted Auto Thunder and requested a refund. They refused. I subsequently filed a dispute with my bank and provided the documentation and evidence I have. My bank is currently handling the dispute. Then, several weeks later, today, I received a call from Auto Thunder regarding the dispute. Given everything that has happened, I found the contact concerning and inappropriate, and I will be documenting it and notifying my bank as part of the ongoing dispute. The owner Shazad is harrassing me on my phone , trying to connect bc I filed a dispute. I'm pretty sure that is against the law, but whatever. I'm not backing down and I'm not going to have them lie to me more than he already has. The oddity of him running this business like he does. I'm posting this because I wish I had known what I know now before spending my money there. Please do your research, ask questions, take pictures of your equipment before leaving it with any shop, and consider getting a second opinion before authorizing additional work. This is my personal experience and my account of what happened, and I encourage everyone to make their own informed decision, read all the 27 plus negative reviews this business has before engaging business with them.
