I just considered it normal until I realized that's not supposed to be the case. Last summer I was plagued with problems with Verizon and their towers and something had happened and I was getting ready for a trip and I was just panicking. I came over to AT&T and took a chance bought a phone and service has been perfect ever since every time power goes out the phone is still on. One year later I go in there today and I had to buy a new screen as mine was completely shot and getting ready for a big trip. The guy says well it's only $10 because you're a loyal customer and you bought everything here that's pretty incredible so thank you, AT&T. If you live rural and it's not always the case, I believe that AT&T is probably your best bet especially in this area. You will not get the same service with Verizon. I believe that Verizon is probably better for cities.
